I had no idea they just recreated the ax gang fight from Drunken Master 2 in this game. They literally copied the set exactly. That's amazing. I genuinely want to play this now.

I loved this game ever since it came out, such an underrated awesome game, I can tell you most of those bugs weren't there back in the day, it just doesn't run well on modern systems. Hope you'll play the rest of it here!
Someone commented a while back. But honestly, you'd do a wonderful video if you covered the mess that was the transition of warhammer fantasy to AOS. That was a massive shitshow filled with crunch, redesigns and a sheer and astounding lack of planning to the point it's utterly hilarious.
while I agree with you I'm not sure how many of Matt's subscribers care about table top rpgs. Also GW is notoriously insular so it's unlikely he would be able to find much info on why AOS was made the way it was.

@@zenoblues7787 TW:WH is a very popular video game. Plus it would target a very active demographic in terms of ulterior views. So something tells me it's not gonna be such a lowball, given how popular the franchise is nowadays.
This was one of my favorite games back in PS2 era. Haven't thought about it much since then, but holy shit I just remembered that this game has the best ending ever put in a video game.
Oh Matt, I'm sorry man! I think we all hyped the Fire Ants last week, but they don't show up till later in the game, I'd say more than halfway through...BUT! This game is a content mine, there is soooo much gold you've yet to reap. If you keep playing you wouldn't be disappointed, plus you gotta get to those Ants man. It's nuts. And the ending! Holy shit, don't look it up, but your reaction would be incredible. Nuff said, thanks for playing this glitchy masterpiece.
The weapons program is based on Hard Boiled. I think the time trial is a Shaw Brothers movie? The stealth mission from the last video was Enter the Dragon.
Interesting that it seems to have a few lighting and other visual issues here, as I have the game for PC on DVD and it runs and looks exactly as 15 years ago. Impressive really, also that it runs so easily on modern systems.

I have both of these games for Xbox and back when they were new i thought they were really good games. One of them (I forget which) is better than the other but i enjoyed both.
What's wrong with linear? It's trying to emulate a set plot from a film series, with just a few collectibles that don't really matter. I can't imagine anyone expecting a huge amount of exploration out of a Matrix game.
Its gonna take a long while to get to the ants, but it's worth it every step of the way. At the same time, the PS2 version is waaaaay better and less buggy.
I think the fire ants are a ways off, like you gotta play through the first movie and like some of the second one just to get to it. It's a lot but damn this game is crazy.
Please please please keep playing. And try not to rush the fire ants. It's actually where the game starts sucking. Try to enjoy the funny campiness, bugginess & cool martial arts for the first half of the game. Fire ants are at the midpoint if I recall correctly.
