I've been hyped for A2 ever since following its development at that Vegas event! One of the things that initially drew me to this game, like Gorilla Tag, was its simplicity. The core gameplay loop of moving and interacting in those virtual spaces just felt so immersive and fun. With all the new features and expanded scope teased for A2, I'm incredibly excited to see where the developers take it. However, I hope they can resist the temptation of "feature creep" and keep the experience streamlined. Sometimes adding too many bells and whistles can actually detract from what made the original concept so appealing. If any devs are reading this, please try to maintain that elegant simplicity at the heart of A2, even as you expand the game world and mechanics. Don't lose sight of what made GT so special in its straightforward VR immersion. I have faith you'll strike that balance, and I can't wait to play the final product!
good video! however a thought 3:30 the ability to transfer between lobbies is quite often already used in VR, the most common example I can bring up in VRChat allowing one to place portals to walk through which loads you into the next lobby its highly unlikely A2 will have seamless server connection between lobbies at that scale, they can do "hidden loading screens" which can cause the same effect (and is used in hundreds of online games already)
I was using the ability to transfer between lobbies example as a way to express a larger point. Which is they are going for creating a community and that a big thing socially in VR that hinders communities from thriving is transferring between space to space, even in your example of VR chat portals to my knowledge that isn't as seamless as bar hopping. So how they are going to go about achieving a social experience as seamless as bar hopping. I don't know. It probably will include hidden loading screens but I know this is what they're going for. And I don't believe any VR has achieved this to the degree they are going for it.
@@ConDawgB just a completely different vibe and until now I wanted it to feel exactly like echo and then I realized we don’t need another echo we need another game to live like echo.
"The next big VR Game!!!!!" There is like no public information available about this game. And the first major announcement in months is that they have to delay release and they hid it by mentioning a feature about the game. It's comical. They are clearly running into issues with development. If they 'knew' their app lab release was going to be pushed back. They would have announced it sooner.
