We made these, just added a little apple cider vinegar and soy sauce to the pressure cooker, and used some treager rub. We made about 6 pounds for a church potluck and were a big hit. They take a little work to trim the fat but are well worth it, especially for the price.
Flo this is so funny I was in the Asian market earlier I happened to see this cuts of meat had no idea what they were, never saw them before this Asian lady bought a big bag of them they were $1.49 alb . On the box they had a name written in Chinese now I can’t wait to go back and get some 😛
Really, Dude???? "Doesn't taste like fingers"? 🤣 Never heard of finger meat, but this looks *so* yummy! 😋😋 I see what you mean about the dry rub sticking to the meat even after pressure cooking! Will have to try this! 😊
Ooh, those look tasty! But, everything you make looks wonderful and tasty! Wishing I could find this cut of meat in my neck of the woods! I’m willing to bet this meat cut will make terrific Char Siu! Thank you and Dude for sharing your great recipes and videos!
Never thought finger meat can be bbq, always saw that specially in Asian grocery, wonder what kind of recipe used that? Now I knew and will be trying it soon 👍❤️
Flo, my wife and I wish you a belated Happy Birthday. This looks delicious. Please tell Dude that my wife said she'd wrestle him to the ground for that plate of boneless bbq ribs. Lol. Have a blessed and safe week.
Dude won't let you get a grill? And you're a monetized chef! Something's wrong with that picture! Let her get a grill for that smoke effect, even if it's just a charcoal hibachi. And thanks for posting!
That looks great, if you in future look for grill I would think you should look into pellet smoker grill. It would definately be a game changer. And they easy to use.
Happy birthday Flo!! 🎉 That recipe looks so delicious and simple. Will definitely try it if I can find that cut of meat. My 18 years old son agreed with Dude regarding the bone so I buy my meat boneless. Thank you both for creating awesome recipes to share. Have a wonderful day and God bless.
Flo what an easy great recipe. Get your husband to buy you the Ninja Foodi Grill xl. You can cook indoors with it and you can have a bbq any time you want. I lov lov lov mine. Stay safe. ❤️
First and foremost, happy belated birthday!!! I had no idea! I agree with you and dude! The only meat I like is boneless meat! Easier to eat and no waste! My favorite turkey is those 2 3/4 lb. turkey breast roasts and they cook off in the IP in 60 minutes plus a 25-minute NPR! Very many very happy returns!!!! Take care!!!!
Picked up a package of this and wasn't sure how to cook it. Thoroughly enjoyed your flavors and method in the video. Fantastic rendering of the fat like you mentioned, plus a bit of crisp-up under the broiler for a few minutes... Used your method to take this in a Latin direction with beef rib tacos. Family raved. Really appreciate the help and direction and ideas for the future. Think I'll try these like Kalbi Beef Ribs next!
Happy belated Birthday, you don't look like half a century at all. You look great. Can't say that for the raw finger meat, but cooked looks much better. Don't think I've seen that here in Pa.
Oh my! I have seen beef finger meat at my local Asian market and didn't know what to do with them then I saw your post. Bought some today and had to try your recipe. It was amazing! I used your rib rub (it's going to be my to-go) and used Sweet Ray's bbq sauce and put them into the air fryer to broil in batches. It was so tender and lip smacking delish!!! I can't wait to wow my family when it's safe to gather. Thank you so much!
Hello Flo and A very happy Birthday. Stay safe.. Flo I have been on the lookout for an easy Peanut Sauce recipe using Peanut butter, I would be grateful if you have a Satay Sauce recipe 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I finally found beef finger meats in the last year to make Chinese beef stew. It’s always a big bag with 12 stripes. This gives another way to use this meat. I will definitely try this.
Flo, I made this today as your recipe stated but the meat was tough. My experience with beef finger meat always required cooking with liquid. Wonder what went wrong?
Very belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY. As you can tell by the very late birthday wish I'm really on top of things. I love your channel. I love your cookbook. I cannot believe that you are 50. You look amazing. Whatever you're doing its working. Thank you for all you do.
Happy Belated Birthday, Flo! Where in town did you buy this meat? Also, what brand of BBQ sauce did you use? Thanks so much for this recipe! Love that it’s boneless!
Hi I see you are using the instant pot 7-in-1 version. Was thinking of getting one and wondering any need to get the higher priced 9-in-1 version? Appreciate your advice 🙏
Really yummy recipe - I had never used that fatty beef and in our neighbourhood, quite expensive despite being 1/3 fatty another other recipes I read took 8 hours to complete - not my lifestyle..... but this method was so yummy, quick, easy, and melt in your mouth served with fried rice - got the family vote! I was skeptical as I do not have a lot of success with meat with our all in one pot (Breville) - often tough and not a pleasure to look at or eat. The exception is soup with always goes really well. But this dish was another exception and gives me courage to try more fatty cuts in my machine. I will note because a large whole chicken is done in 35 minutes in our machine I reduced to 20 minutes and I might even try 15 minutes next time for a 1kg dish. 20 minutes was more than enough for our machine so I suggest not being afraid to play with the times as needed.
you need to get the smokeless counter top grill i did a test on my channel, its amazing. i cooked lamb chops that tasted amazing and i purchased it on amazon for under $100 , check it out
I love ribs and boneless even better, name not so good. Thank you for sharing Flo and Dude for tasting. Have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. Where do you buy the meat at.? 🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🥰🥰
I got the biggest kick and laughter listening to Dude’s voice. “I did not say that...”. LOL. I suppose he felt that he was going to be defending himself from all of the viewers! LOL. Delicious looking dish. You have inspired me to go looking for the local Asian market place in my community. I believe they will sell most of the items that you talk about in your channel. Exciting stuff! Thank you both. 😊👍 ~Sharon
