Allowing you to buy a house/mansion that can double up as one of your businesses, besides a home, like allowing you to build a makeshift prison for your bounties in the basement or allowing Cripps to move Cripps Trading Co. on your property or building courier stables that can deliver collections to Madam Nazar or a tent for Mrs. Harriet so you can always get to her to deliver your samples. How about extending your house to a homestead with animal pens and stables so you don't have to pay the stable fees for the horses you own and allow you a steady supply of meats and pelts through the cattle you have at the farm. Hell if you have smaller animals you can have open world events in which you have to deal with predators attacking your farm animals. All these ideas I just concocted while writing this comment. It's truly sad that this...THIS is what's happening Rockstar. I really do believe the only solution to their greed and neglect is to..stop playing their games. They listen to numbers not people. Great video btw Pro
At this point, they want RDO to die, so not playing will just cause R* to pull the plug. Why does R* want RDO to die? Not enough people buying gold bars. How? Because the largest player base, griefers, buy them and incentivize other players to do so, and RDO's anti-griefer methods forced them back to GTAO. Complain all you want, but griefers are almost single-handedly supporting GTAO by buying Shark Cards to support their griefing, and RDO got rid of their griefers.

7:20 Jessica LeClerk: (tearfully) "He deserved better than this, and this is what he got. This is what we all got..." It just hits differently now considering the current state of Red Dead Online.
Red Dead Online died in beta when it released absent of Red Dead's single player features and took a whole year to receive a significant content update. In the meantime, animals disappeared from existence and the cash rewards for hunting/fishing were halved. The role system R* then added was objectively terrible. Collect collectibles, a knock off MC business and capture/kill an NPC. That update was bad, it is just that the bar was set so low for content that the RDO community lauded it. Its only redeeming feature was the Bounty Hunter special targets which played more like missions. The writing was on the wall that much of the development resources behind RDO were being pulled back to GTAO from the beta launch, and proven with every subsequent GTA content update. It shouldn't have took 10 months to fix the animal spawns, it shouldn't have took over a year to add multiplayer poker that existed even in the first Red Dead Redemption at launch. the updates that we did get shouldn't have been so underwhelming. And they wouldn't have been, had RDO had the same level of support that GTAO received from the beginning. RDO never did. All of the fallout with regards to RDO now is from the remaining player base that clung on to the desperate hope that RDO would improve. It isn't surprising to the overwhelming millions of players that had quit within the first few months up to the first update, who had identified what was happening, who were sounding the alarm only to be slammed as doomsayers by the same community that has caught up with the reality.
I left the game when they cutted the streaks for dailys down (was on something around 370) knowing, that this was the beginning of the end. And I NEVER logged in again after that. So sad to hear that it´s getting even worse after all that time. R* has slapped all the fans in their faces!

Nothing? They built the open world for the story mode. And RDR2 is still one of the best games out there. I personally have no interest in online games, so to me RDO was always dead. They make repetitive low effort grindy content, and people eat this shit up and make bank for R*. I aint supporting this crap. R* needs to stick to single player games and single player DLCs. It's just a shame that their overlords at T2 will probably keep forcing them to make more online modes in every future game after they got a taste of all that GTAO money.
I have some SERIOUS QUESTIONS . Why can’t we play poker in our camp with friends ? Why can’t we rob stores or trains like in story mode ? Why are there only 13 legendary bounties ? Why does the online story end after 2 chapters ? Why not add more ? Why is there only 3 jewel opportunities available ? Why cant I buy a husky or Australian Shepard for my camp , just because I’m newer to the game ? Why were all the cool masks removed from madam nazaar so quickly ? Why can’t we actually bond with wild horses ? & be able to sell rare ones if we find them ? Why does my Bandana get removed whenever I drink coffee? Why is poker in the saloons a complete joke ? Max $5 bet per hand ? Everyone just goes all in every hand . It’s a complete travesty. Make it like the story mode . Why is there no “side mission” story content?
@Levi Chicwown I had that feeling about the Rockstar already became the path of EA because lack of communication for the fans and some nowadays the game companies are so greedy that they neglected the people has wanted. An additional of my opinion, GTA Trilogy is pretty much a downgrade itself due to understaff developer and T2 BS marketing before Christmas.
55:18 One more point to talk about Bethesda: they actively support the modding community for their older titles. No way mods like Tales of Two Wastelands, Skyblivion, or New Vegas in Fallout 4 would exist if Take Two published their titles. It might be heavily criticised now but they even let modders monetize their content instead of bullying them and sending lawyers to their house
Offers could already monetize content Bethesda just wanted their own cut and stole the work of modders. Your right to criticize take two but Bethesda is just as bad.

Nothing angers me more in this industry that fans who get mad at one point and then blindly get excited when something good comes and forget about all the bad things. And the people who defend the business practices because it makes them good money this way are just as infuriating. There are a lot of people in the gaming community in general that really needs to get out and touch some grass, maybe even eat some of it. R* isn't who they are anymore. Dan left and so did Leslie which was definitely said by you, but one thing interesting which you never mentioned in the video is that Dan and Leslie are making THEIR OWN studios now. Further cementing they needed out of R*. Why? Who knows? But I'm sure it's something to do with the corporate crap. I hope Sam can smell the coffee and get out too sometime soon.
If you cannot accept a moment of happiness. Better off just digging a hole and stuffing yourself in it. As much as it is so easy to just be angry at a company or someone. You have to at least acknowledge the moments they do something good. In turn, encourage them to do more good. If you punish them for doing something good. Well, they will learn nothing and keep on their current course.
@@Qardo I think that's kind of ignorant of you to say because I do acknowledge the good in what a company does. Even highly regarded companies have made stinkers in the past but still bring in good things. I will always give credit where it's due as the anger towards R* that I have isn't blind rage. If you as a company keep disappointing me and betraying my trust, I want nothing to do with you as a consumer. I'll enjoy your past projects, I might even consider buying a game if it's polished and good. But I'm no longer a fan of R*. I will NOT be what Pro says how many fans are with R*, where they will hate on R* hard for many things, and then when R* does something right, they praise R* like it's the 2nd Coming of Christ like all the bad in the past is wiped clean. I'm willing to forgive, but forgetting and trusting is harder to get out of me when I've been wronged. And that is the mindset many should have when they've been wronged themselves. If this company/consumer things were in an abusive relationship, many wouldn't want anything to do with that abuser once that tolerance dries up no matter how much good they do after.
You're absolutely right but it has been dead for a long while now and it's a real shame because this was the best games ever made. I'll never understand why they didn't care to further develop it like they did with GTA online
I was never a big Red Dead Online player, but I used to play it a lot with my friends and we all had lots of fun with it, trying to lasso each other up building and riding wagons off cliffs. We were always waiting on new updates... but they never came or were bad, we tried to keep having fun, but eventually, one by one, we stopped playing, we haven't played an online game together in 2-3 years. I've never seen a game get so neglected, I agree with Professional's opinion, the game is dead.
I agree with everything you said! When I played online and got everything, there was a feeling of emptiness and soon I was back to having fun in Story Mode, there are dialogues and more secrets to discover. We have a huge map, but online there wasn't any big addition, DLC that changed scenery and brought up properties, there's a distinct lack of content and options.
Loved the campaign for red dead 2, but I've kept my online expectations at a steady 0% since it came out. Glad I did. I guess they just don't see a way to profit off of it as easy as promising kids flying bikes that shoot missiles as soon as they dig through their parents wallets. Again great game, just not nearly enough love from the creators to keep it going. The community has already designed a 50 year plan for content updates, but rockstar will do what they do and completely ignore them because "that's the business" they've been steadily falling apart for the past couple years it would seem, but I guess that's what happens when you dedicate 90 percent of your workforce to a game that came out practically a decade ago.
I'm so disappointed, this might be the game with the most potential to have become a great online game, the massive map and beautiful graphics make for great spaces to roam and have stuff to do in. But they just refuse!!!
16:02 should’ve included how players were forced to hunt outside of the map boundaries because animals had absolutely no problem spawning out there but not in the actual map. And how we had to launch missions but ignore the objective in order to get animals to spawn. God the devs are a joke

Alongside gta players saying the game is shit. Eventually I got a crew together and had a lot of fun. As time went on people left and new ones came. Unfortunately I am the last one of this group and even I find it hard to get on. I will miss you red dead.
I feel your pain. I had a posse since Beta, but as slow as the content drip was they moved on. Last of my posse I played with was when we each got elephant guns and messed around with them for a half hour and then boom that was that
What is missed in this synopsis is the impact of investors. Once investors get involved , the company is forced to squeeze as much profit out to enrich investors' pockets that the objective gets lost. They stop making creative and adventurous steps. Everything is calculated to make as much money off every unit "player" as possible.
just like Apple, when investors got involved they kept putting money into the Apple 2, a 7 year old product that was coming to its end of lfe but they kept putting money into it and not innovating or doing anything new
Building your own shack/house would be fun! it would mirror the Dad and two sons stranger quest in the single player mode. Could also add in "Rancher" as a job that acts as a cover for moonshining/other jobs -also good for multiplayer looking after a ranch and defending it from cattle rustlers- hey there's ANOTHER job you can add in... there is literally SO MUCH they could do with this game and it's a shame because RDR2 is one of my ALL TIME favourite games, the single player was SO DAMN GOOD I had high hopes for RDO.
It's incredibly sad that a game that I love so much, that I have defended countless times saying things like "This happened with GTAO too, it just takes a while for the updates to get good" has just been killed by the people in charge. The potential with this beauty of a game is limitless, but the lack of commitment is saddening.
@Jeremys fun and gaming not really though. In 2013 they only released the beach bum update with 6 cars and two weapons. Very similar to the first update for Red Dead
@@mycaht364 yes it does. But it took a while to get to the level it is at now. I defended RDO with that in mind but they just haven't delivered since the Frontier Pursuits update. That is literally the only good one.
I can relate to rockstar no longer being my favourite developer. They made my favourite racing game of all time, midnight club Los Angeles, and I was heartbroken when I found out they weren’t making another one. I could get a taste of what could’ve been if they made a new one through the gta updates (especially the tuners update) but it wasn’t the same. Now after all the bs they’ve been pulling with gta online, the trilogy and e&e I’ve lost all respect for them. Truly sad to see what greed does to a company. I hold EA to a higher standard than rockstar now, as weird as that seems.
EA gave me unravel 1 and 2 as well as it takes two, Rockstar gave us the definitive edition made in a back alley sweatshop and had the balls to take the originals down and put them up for money
I've never really played RDO but I will say, RDR2 is my favorite game of all time. It's a real shame that they are destroying it like this. My goal was to get every single Steam achievement for the game (of which I have all but 2 story achievements left)(including online achievements) but honestly, I don't think I'll have time if it's going this way I bet it's going to be taken offline before I could complete them all.
Ever since Dan Houser left Rockstar, Red Dead online was starting its decline I know that there are a lot of people who are very passionate about Red Dead online but at this point I just really just stopped caring. There really is no point at being angry at a company that's just not listening to you the only real way to screw them over is to completely stop playing their games altogether but since there seems to be a lot of people who have cognitive dissonance its completely impossible. We can try but in the end we can't really win and the only thing we can do is to just go with the flow or hope something happens.
ironically enough, the characters were my favorite part about the story mode, and the player base is my favorite part about online. you get the bad with the good, but when it’s good, it’s DAMN good. yesterday i ended up in a 6 man posse and we took over saint denis, overran a train and rode it around the entire map, started bar fights, shit like that. just the amount of fun you can have with other people is reason enough for me to keep playing and keep the tiny amount of hope i have for the game.
Rockstar know what they are doing. They probably saw that a massive update to GTA with a long asked for DLC would be cheaper and gain more revenue than that if they did a DLC for Red Dead.
My issue with poker in the game was that I couldn't go "all in" from the start, party chats disabled, and required a separate lobby to spawn in when one should just be able to move the poker table to the moonshine shack.
I’d love to be able to get a farm and grow crops, raise cattle, be able to sell the goods. Maybe have a rodeo, barrel racing, or bull/bronco riding. Definitely bank robbing, or defending. Weapon for hire to help people travel across the frontier. Fishing tournaments, hunting tournaments, I mean damn introduce Indians and do something with that. I mean damn we could get a go to Mexico and expand the map my god. There is so much shit RDO has so much potential and things it could do but it won’t.
For the collectors role I just covered every inch of the map starting from the bottom because it’s really empty and checked all buildings and landmarks (like literally everything). I did this and was surprised how fast I was leveling the role. And I really enjoyed it too because I would run into tons of random encounters/hideouts.
it is sad to see really, this game had one of the greatest combat systems i had experienced in any game and the potential to really explore those gilded age aesthetics was huge. they could have added penthouse apartments (elevators started to become more common in the 1890's and the penthouse apartments looked more like palaces than anything). they could have added more carriages (and even early automobiles down the line). the weapon variety just sucks, i would have loved for them to add more melee weapons like cavalry sabers, war clubs, batons, brass knuckles and others like that. maybe an expansion for us melee players too like a PvE/PvP fight ring and general improvements to the melee combat (like you being able to initiate a melee fight with an enemy without grappling with them first and just generally make it more responsive). rockstar is a billion dollar- and 4000 developer company, this is outright embarrassing for them and insulting to us, the players and audience.
@@gpproject1548 yes, technically. but nothing prevents Rockstar from just progressing the time, just like they did with GTAO (even RDR1 progressed into 1910 so i wouldn't mind if R* did that with RDO and started adding world war 1 weapons and vehicles).
I almost want to see T2 and R* to go bankrupt. Im going went from disappointed to upset, to angry and os now turning into a hate. And no I do not want to just “let it go” because of the status in the industry these 2 companies have. And the disregard for the consumer they have been showing directly affects how the industry will shape their practices.
My experience with RDO was good, once I grinded out all the stuff I wanted. Getting there was another story, I almost resorted to cheating because it was agonizingly slow getting anything. I often found myself watching youtube while waiting for the countdown timer on my bounty to hit that "critical" point where I would get the max amount of money...
Honestly, the biggest waste of potential I've seen in gaming. This could be so, so good if they actually gave a shit. Now, it's obvious that it's not making GTA money (in terms of selling gold bars to gamers for real cash) - however, WHY would anyone buy gold bars when there's actually NOTHING to buy. People throw money into GTA because there are thousands of things to do with it. RDO - I can make double-money this week on trading and moonshing, but so what - there is nothing to do with the money, so it's all pointless. A shame, because I loved the main game and the idea of online. But Rockstar have shit the bed here, and Strauss Zelnick can go and leap from a cliff too. All of the problems with Take Two and their companies go directly to his greed.
This makes me miss the PS2 era even more. Back when the games were given time to polish rather than be released full of game-breaking glitches. GTA online has game-breaking glitches getting worse and worse but money glitches get patched almost immediately. Sadly, I don't think the passion will ever go back into development of any future games by Rockstar. They couldn't even bring nostalgia back to us with the "definitive edition" because it's ruined by tons of glitches and other things that were originally in the game like a lot of music isn't even in the definitive edition.
I have an idea for how they could bring players back to RDO Wild West Heist expansion You get to do 5-10 heists with a story that connects you with the single player story of Rdr2. Here’s how I would do it. 1. Classic train robbery- a contact for Leviticus Cornwall meets you with an offer to work a string of robberies for Leviticus Cornwall and get rich. The contact decides to test your capabilities by having you rob the train of one of Cornwall’s business rivals. Goes similar to the first train robbery in Rdr2. 2. Rob the Bank in Valentine 3. Rob the Bank in Rhodes 4. Rob the Visitor Center in strawberry 5. Rob the Bank in Saint Denis 6. Boat robbery 7. Steal weapons from the Army to help Natives for Eagle Flies (high honor) 8. Steal artifacts from natives to help the Army claim land for Colonel Favors (low honor) 9. Hired by Dutch Van der Linde to help with the Blackwater job. You get your cut and have to fight your way out from the Pinkertons. You go to Mrs. Le Clerk for help and she gets you out of trouble, but only if you agree to do a heist for her. 10. Sisika Assassination- Mrs. Le Clerk sends your group to kill the last of her targets. However, her quarry is investing in the Annesburg mines and is very difficult to get to. She’s currently shacking up with the Prison Warden on Sisika island. Mrs. Le Clerk has you smuggle weapons to a point where an inside man has them ready for you. She turns you all in to get close to the target. Inside man starts a riot and gives you your guns. Then you fight your way through the prison and kill the last target. You escape and get paid. Le Clerk and Horley say their goodbyes and live happily ever after.
RDO would've seriously benefited from a settlement system. This is supposed to be the wild west, letting players build settlements on deeds of land that they purchased would give them a lot of stuff to invest in. There could've even been honorable/dishonorable settlements based on what buildings you purchased and built. Like a honorable one has a general stores, hotels, theaters, and farms. But a dishonorable one has fences, saloons, brothels, and predatory lending banks.
Legend tells of a man, many years ago, who said the following: "It was never about the money." Hardly surprising that Red Dead Revolver isn't canon. Red Harlow's motivations don't align with those of his creators.
Red Harlow , Niko Bellic , Arthur Morgan and John Marston would be sick to their stomachs if they saw rockstar as a company. They’d all take pleasure in robbing them
@@ExtremeMan10 John and Arthur are honorable men. Micah would be more inclined to join rockstar. Rockstar is a pinkerton/cornwall type. They wanna kill off all the outlaws of the old west and bring us civilization , with flying motorcycles and satellite nukes
It takes a lot of courage to speak your mind, when your thoughts go against what others want to hear, so you have my respect for being honest with yourself and others. As for Rockstar, greed has been mankinds own made disease, so I doubt something will change unless People take drastic actions, I am not talking about a few thousand petitions and protest, because if others keep spending a lot of money on the games then nothing will change, it is probably going to take a few millions of People united to change something at all.
What a brilliant video. Thank you for this analysis. There IS a way to actually fight back against this sort of corporate greed destroying video games we love like Red Dead Online. A petition is a good first step, but I think you saw already how easily they can ignore these things. What they cannot ignore is an organized effect on their quarterly profit margins. They are a publicly traded company, and as such are legally bound to do what is profitable for the shareholders. There are multiple ways to go about this. With your channel, you could even help lead the organization. I have experience doing similar economic organizing through unions and political work. Feel free to hit me up if you're interested. Everyone is getting organized these days. Gamers can organize too!
@@alexmcintyre9012 That may have been the case a few years ago, but people these days, in my experience, are all about taking some fight to these big corporations. When it comes to an economic fight, it isn't just bitching, though I understand what you mean. Would you say the Communist Party was "just bitching" when it was ending child labor or creating the CIO? Not really, right?
@@khrachvikkhrachvik7049 Yeah cause a company not putting enough content into a multiplayer mode that nobody was forced to buy equates to child labor. But keep thinking Communism will come save the day it never will.
The blood money cutscenes have more work put into them than the missions themselves. I bought the game about 2 months ago and I've maxed out all the roles except Naturalist. I hope this game goes free on epic like GTA, It'll help increase active players and help them sell more gold bars and hopefully it'll make them consider adding more things to buy and proper content.
More new players who buy gold bars would just make it worse. It would show Rockstar that no matter how much they shaft RDO, people would still play it and pay them for doing nothing.
I blame Rockstar/Take-Two. I have to imagine that companies of this size could hire enough staff to keep both games going strong if they really wanted to. They made a choice. They made a priority based on profits (because of course), and that meant letting their less profitable franchise die. Red Dead and GTA are only products, and you cant blame products for the behavior of the manufacturer.
It's not about simply hiring more staff, it's about finding qualified , passionate people that are willing to potentially give up the next decade to work on a project. You can't just throw money at something and expect it to be done faster.
They neglected RDO right from the start, which led to player base declining steadily over the last three years, which is then used as justification to all but abandon it now.
@@BoleDaPole Yeah about that... Based on the things that have happened recently and on things Rockstar has done, I really really don't think they have any passion for any of their games anymore. I don't thing they are even nearly as passionate as their player bases are. I don't think passion is even a factor at all anymore, and I think that's why they lost Dan Houser, Leslie Benzies, Lazlow and others. They don't need passionate staff when they themselves don't give a crap. Which they don't.
His reaction to the glitches are hilarious lol 100% agree with you professional, rockstar is no different than EA nowadays with their greed. The only reason they create new updates is to make more money off micro transactions, it’s really sad
We waited YEARS for this game, as a lover of GTAO when this game first came out I was full stop ready to drop GTA and move onto RDR2..seeing it die like this is absolutely sad, the story was amazing and I truly thought the online was going to be even better. Hell, we all did. But we never got that.
@@gracepierce1024 I totally agree with what you say here, even if it’s a month late. They could’ve improved the game vastly, all sorts of unique heists and the like, but they didn’t because GTAO is their main cash cow.
I appreciate the honestly you have with this game. I love the passion you put into these. I 100% agree with all of it. So sad to see such a beautiful game tossed out the door for the sake of making money. They do not realize the money they could make with this game. Player housing, farm owning, rancher, cattle runner, outlaw heist such as bank robbery coach robberies, gold miner activities which were huge talk around town back in these times, a great story in online, new stage coaches players can own or some old school Ford cars if anything, railroad owner , trains you can buy or carts on the train you can buy and customize to have friends ride along in. So many great money making ideas that they could make tons of money on. Idk why they ditch this game. Maybe it’s the graphically intense game which makes it really Hard to add these things without breaking stuff idk… it’s just sad man. Thank you again for the content and callling out rockstar on their bullshit
Thank you for awesome content ❤ I am a new Red Dead Online player and already seeing the lack of attention the game is getting, which is sad, cause the world is so amazing and immersive. It deserves big updates, but guess it's easier to sell Oppressor Mk 2 to kids
I feel this on a spiritual level. I'm never buying another Rockstar game until I see its worth. No more pre-orders. No more hype subscription. I have hundreds of games in my library. How will I live without gta vi? I'm stubborn enough to get by. It'll be easier when I remember all of the disappointments from gta online.
It's funny how u ppl brag about how many games u have, so u don't need Rockstar's games, but at the same time u cry about FREE updates being too slow? Make that make sense.. How about u play one of those hundreds of games u own instead of crying in the comment section about the next red dead update? 🤔
@@KoolKeithProductions Because Rockstar is killing his other installments for the profits of gta online. RDR2 online has so much potential to be as good, maybe even BETTER than gta online. But rockstar is blind with their profits. It is no longer about their quality games. It is about the MONEH
I love red dead online, I've been playing since 2019 and honestly the content tapering off the way it has is embarrassing from rockstar. Take me back to the days of max Payne, the warriors, bully, san andreas and vice city any day over this incarnation of rockstar, how has such a great company fallen so far 💔😭
You might not even really want that. Those are all single player games, and all of you are wanting MULTIPLAYER add ons. It doesn’t fully make sense to say “take me back” when those games got released and that was that. No DLC, no MTX (not that I like MTX), nothing. You got one game and one game only. The closest thing to DLC at that time was the extra stories we got with side games (which only applies to Vice City as far as I’m aware), which still costed us the price of a full $60 game. I don’t mean to say you can’t complain, everyone’s allowed to feel however they want, but think about it.
@@GG-08 I'm talking about quality gaming experiences, since 2014 rockstar have literally made 1 great game. Everything else had been based on max profit for as little content as possible. It's a sad sad time for the company. I love single player and multilayer games I don't care which it is I just want good rockstar games and they really aren't delivering
@@GG-08 back in those days you would get a new game at the same rate as a new dlc for gta online. so yeah, take me back sounds right. what we got today is a complete emptiness
I love the game there’s so much to explore amazing detail I just wish they would add more “ heist “ more missions horses , guns , and change the way their in game purchases , the game has such a great foundation off of the campaign I just wish they’d do the same online
This game could have sooooo much potential, imagine they stop priotise microtransactions sales and listened to the rdo community. The game would have go bangers
the problem is MrBossFTW Dat_Saintsfan and people who do shark card giveaways and try to get people to buy shark cards to make a quick buck Yes Rockstar Games do promote shark cards but we have no obligation to buy them HOWEVER its these youtubers i just mentioned who encourage their fanbase to buy shark cards for discounted price and more value
@@AlexisStreams i agree with u as well, not to mention rockstar is trying so bad make the missions of rdo and gta online insanely difficult, extremely long distance travel and poor level design all in an attempt to frustrate us one day to buy their in game currency. It is obvious at this point that they dont really care about us having fun in their game, its all about squeezing out every penny we have as much as they can
@@Khorbicatoo I mean they are a business can you blame them? they need to make money......HOWEVER the blame falls on us the players, i keep saying this if people had self control and chose not to buy shark cards and stop playing GTA Online And play other games rockstars attention will focus on GTA 6 or GTA LCS And VCS Definitive Edition, hell they may even work on Red dead online updates Long Distance Travel, Well we had to put up with that in old GTA Games too you had to drive from staunton to portland and portland to shoreside vale just to complete espresso-2-go what about The mission for ran fa li where you had to drive out to the countryside and lure some chinese biker dudes to a gas station GTA Online the long distance travel can be cut short if you use a helicopter or an opressor or even a hydra as for making us buy shark cards again All you need is self control and play the game normally and you'll be fine i've gone 100 days playing GTA Online without buying a single shark card and i've made over 400 million+ and i've saved up 72 million right now by doing the cayo perico heist from time to time mind you i've played since GTA Online came out day one i'm almost level 580
@@AlexisStreams well as much as the frustrations i had u do have a point, the shark card sales do make a lot of profit for r* and t2. As long these sales continues to thrive , i wonder when we will get other games like bully or gta 6. I started playing gta online on march and never bought a sharkcard once, i like the satisfaction on getting what i want in the game after hours of grind, plus getting one wasnt worth it for me anyway as it can barely buy much stuff with it. Currenly saving up at 10 mil to prepare for the new update soon.
@@Khorbicatoo i'm sure we will get new games people like you and me gotta convince other players to stop playing and stop buying shark cards and stop pressuring rockstar games into makingn GTA 6 Or bully 2 because we might end up with a buggy mess like WWE 2K20 or The Trilogy. we may get GTA 6 it;s just we need patience
I truly wanna take my hats off at this point. This is the game I really hope for the best on their success and the developers screwed this game and the community over. I guess everything the community doing to keep the game alive is all they got and they are for nothing because of a damn Micro-transaction. How much of greed can they put into the micro-transactions. I mean I know it’s their main source of income but they don’t seems to realize that they do on what they doing is in the right direction of destroying their game instead giving a proper content and stuff for people to do and to buy. One day They will regret it but for now Shame on Rockstar and Take-2.
I’m sure GroveStreetGames well aware of maintaining the stability of the the Trilogy DE and they are doing it. If anything, it’s take-2 rushing these games to the market with full of errors and stuff.
Funny how you complain about how greedy they are, while you yourself are greedy. I understand that a game with no new content for a long time eventually becomes boring, but it's not like there's absolutely no content whatsoever. There is content, but you want more and more and more. Do you know what that's called? GREED.
Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, he's probably the most hated man that I've ever hated, he doesn't care about the gamers, customers, feedbacks, glitches, GTA 6, and especially Red Dead Online, all he cares about is just MONEY from GTA Online, he "milks" that game so much that he doesn't even care anymore. He doesn't even care anything. Everything he said is a lie. Seeing Red Dead Online dying is heartbreaking. Even though I'm not a fan, but this game deserves to be treated as the same as GTA Online.
If it isn't as profitable as GTA Online it doesn't deserve the same respect as GTA Online, there's a reason this died in 4 years and GTA Online is going strong after nearly a decade
One thing I hate about RDO is the payout in missions gets less and less each time you repeat them. In GTA Online, the payout stays the same no matter how many times you repeat the same mission, but in RDO, you get a nice payout the first time you complete, then it's almost cut in half the next time...and then cut in half of the half the next time...And lesser and lesser each time to where it's not worth playing the story missions anymore, to where you're stuck doing deathmatches against tryhards for money or going against griefers just trying to do bounty or moonshine. I gave up on it after that. Especially since there have been no new story or co-op missions
False. GTA Online is the same, has been for almost 8 years now. You get paid the longer you take for missions. Pretty sure for most contact missions, the optimal time to complete for maximum money was around the 12 minute mark. People did the same thing RDO players do, they waited at the end of the machine for minutes to get as much money as possible. And yeah, they did this the exact reason you think. People were making too much money. I remember a mission used to pay out like 25k for literally 5 minutes of work. Today, that’s expected, but back then, that was unacceptable in rockstar’s eyes. So they added this mission timer bs. That same mission when done in 5 minutes, gave maybe 10k. It was a massive nerf to all missions and before you knew it, people got tired of it stopped grinding missions all together.
On the topic of fallout 76, I think it helps that we have Todd Howard, who is kind of a face of Bethesda. He openly has admitted that they made some major mistakes and has communicated- at least better than rockstar has. Rockstar has made absolutely 0 effort to humanize themselves to us in any capacity, which is why it’s so difficult to keep liking them when they’re screwing us over; whether you’re a fan of the single player gta games, red dead, or even something like bully, manhunt, or max payne. Todd Howard is obviously flawed, he tends to exaggerate and that kind of thing- but I think things such as, the elder scrolls 6 reveal trailer, him being more open with the fans, actual communication, on top of things like him saying the gap in between the elder scrolls 5 and 6 is not ideal, is why they didn’t get nearly as much backlash for rereleasing Skyrim and Rockstar did for rereleasing gta v. That was just a ramble Ig.
I agree with you it is better but it’s still the same result at the end of the day. The meta for the video game industry nowadays is to release the game before finishing it so they can make money on before finishing it(and you don’t even need to finish it) and having free testers. I doubt Todd actually thought 76 was good to release the publisher probably were forcing them to release it without extra time. They will just say “we made mistakes” and make some jokes about themselves then they’re good. I’m still like having a face to talk or get mad at that actually talks to us, Bethesda is wayyy better than rockstar but the industry needs to change for the better cause I’m scared honestly. I grew up with Rockstar San Andreas but there are people who’s first GTA was GTA 5, they’re used to online as normal so what will the game industry treat them and younger generations in the future? And that was my ramble as well lol
@@Jordan64852 Oh yeah, you’re right. My first gta was San Andreas, but the first one I beat is 5 (I got into the franchise late because I wasn’t allowed to play violent games as a kid, the only reason I played san Andreas first is because I snuck onto my cousin’s Xbox when I was like, 11 lmao) and I can’t enjoy gta online. I feel like it’d suck less if I could like, enjoy the online dlc being put out. But I can’t. The fact that I was playing with randoms probably did not help. But regardless. I hope the industry turns around. I’m tired of the feeling of getting excited for a game and having it be disappointing. I see a lot of people say ‘don’t get excited’ but, I honestly wish the games industry was in a state where that didn’t have to be a common mentality. I’m my words / thoughts are disorganized, my excuse is that it’s 7 am and I haven’t fallen asleep yet lol.
Todd has passion with games and we all just meme him, "it just works, skyrim on everything" like todd has some form of slef awareness when rerelasing skyrim and adding all the dlc or extra content. Like the link skin in the switch version of skrim. Rockstar doesn't do anything and acts super serious when re releasing gta, "welcome back to Los Santos" nothing new or anything
I feel like Todd Howard is the person who want everyone to be happy which is admirable but not achievable and sometimes make everyone angry by accident
I honestly saw this coming from the beginning. I realized it when they did what they did to RDR1. They spent very little effort in making the multiplayer. Online was just wander around with your friends in the wild west. There were game modes but honestly most of us just stuck around the fort in new austin.
This video is perfect it points out everything I was thinking about I hope Rockstar or take 2 do something about this read dead needs a revival. Good work pat your doing the community a huge favor
Thank you for mentioning Take Two as well, people without thinking twice will blame Rockstar without realising that Take Two is also the main culprit as well, Take Two is the reason why Rockstar is milking GTA 5 and why they made Rockstar hire a mobile studio to terribly remaster 3 PS2 era games for 60 dollars and don't forget the modding takedowns and Take Two going after Josef Fares's It Takes Two video game for sharing the similar name
@@softandwet7584 nobody was complaining because people like Dan Houser who made these games were still at the company. The Rockstar that made RDR2 isn't there anymore. Wake up and get your head out of the sand. The people have left.
This was very well put... I've got a single solution to save red dead which I know it is stupid and definitely won't work but what have we got to lose? We get the gta community to help us out, get the good hearted ones who understand RDOs problem and are willing to help a brother out...
