Hello Folks! We are hoping to have the next one as a "live." This game so far has been really intriguing! Any tips or tricks we should apply? Don't worry about making the "right" choice. Make the one that feels right for the moment, and whatever happens, happens. The resulting consequences of a choice are usually quite interesting.
Make sure you get all three main characters deviant to get all good endings for each android. You’ll understand what deviant means later in the game. Also, there’s a fan-made film on RU-vid called Detroit Become Human: Evolution. You should watch that after you fully play the game. 👍🏻💙💙💙
@@WayCzennie127 why would you spoil the game like that 🥴 the entire point of the game is to make unbiased decisions based on your own instincts. Seriously, please delete your comment.
@@meikusjewdym by “spoil”?? I didn’t even spoil it. I never even explained what deviant means or even what happens to each character in the game. If I did spoil the game, I would have said the main plot of the story. But hey, you do what you gotta do. 🤨
I agree with what some others have said - I think this game is better left to pre-recorded videos. If you play it live, the chat will just bombard you with spoilers and what decisions to make rather than you guys getting to experience it on your own. I think that's true of all these decision based games. Lives would be better for games with more constant action where whoever isn't actively playing at the moment could monitor the chat.
Tips: don't be afraid to explore! Exploring opens up new paths. Pay attention to the things you encouter, even if it's just to get a better understanding of the world. Don't be afraid of making 'mistakes', the game is made to be replayed, and it really is most fun if, when playing the first time, you just go with your gut instinct and see where it leads you. Following that: don't replay chapters yet. Even if something happens that you dislike, just keep going. Perfectionism, completionism, none of that has a place in this game, at least not the first time through. Really try to just experience it as if it were real-time and you're in it. Excited to see you play this! It's an amazing game.
when you guys say stuff like this you never tell them that in some missions "taking time to explore" is actually a bad thing. Like in this mission, there is a timer, if they didn't find the android in time the mission would've failed.
Unfortunately, this game has the Quantic Dream/David Cage issue where most choices are illogical and make no sense with the game forcing you to go down the "right path" that the developers want you to take.
It’s tricky not to backseat. However, my advice to gain the full experience is to try and not lose any characters, cause if they die that’s it. You won’t be able to further explore their story. Also pay attention to dialogue, mistakes happen when you miss out on details.
It's crazy that Connor's story is lit from beginning to end. Everyone else starts off slow or dips in places but Connor always has amazing urgency because you are focused on the action and on Connors instability state
@@1polyron1 but the stakes are higher for the other two tho especially since markus and kara not only trying to save their own life but also the one tht they love
@@rafaelrose14 absolutely. plus you'll eventually learn Connor is immortal (they already realized this) so his playthrough loses some stakes. But once you understand everybody's role in the story does the gameplay become more intriguing. Connor: has to choose a side, Markus: leading the revolution, Kara: survive
PRE RECORDED IS FINE FOR ME! And i'm sure for many as well. It fits better for the scense of your channel and the Video playing quiality, keep it that way guys!
I think pre-record might actually be better. In a game where coices matter so much, I'd rather see what choices the guys make, rather than them asking the audience what we want them to do. Especially when the timer is ticking on the time they have to make a choice
Absolutely, don't play Detroit on a livestream, it will really ruin th experience for u guys, and for us too. Whole fun and excitement of this game comes from making ur own decisions, whatever they might be. Focus and attention to details is also a must here. There are lots of other games that are good on livestreams, but not this one. Anyway, great to be watching this, hope u guys pull it to the end credits, it's really worth ur time, promise ;p
Streams are annoying anyways. You'd be too focused on shouting everybody out and reading out the chat. That's only tolerable in less story driven games imo. :p
Dying over how Answer got a hostage crises and murder scene while everyone else had to do chores😂😂😂 Looking forward to experience the rest of the game along with you guys
Fun fact: Years ago Quantic Dream made a video titled "Kara" and it was about the creation of Kara, and the video was so loved that they decided to make a game from it. (Totally recommend watching) its under 10 minutes but without that video we wouldn't have this game. Also for the photos, Todd didn't break the Mom, he broke Kara. And quick tip about the circles on the Android's heads: Blue means neutral, Yellow means taking in info, Red means Danger.
I died laughing when Kara's task list appeared. Answer gets the cool hostage situation, the rest of you get the chores! Lmfao. Also, shoutout to whoever is doing the editing on these videos! The transition effect you're doing on the camera between gameplay is _CLEAN_
Yessir it's made by a channel called ScereBro PSNU, just a heads up though, it's a long one. Unless of course, anyone else can give a better video. In either case, I'll be here.
@@BaddMedicineArcade just for your personal fun, if you like watching playthroughs, check out some of the playthroughs by DechartGames (when you're done playing, of course)! The couple who runs that channel were both in the game; Bryan played Connor (the police android main character), and his wife played an android supporting character whom you haven't met yet.
I saw another guy in another channel check what could have been at the end of the game. I think the game let's you see the different outcomes of the stories at the end. Not sure but someone else can confirm or deny
Please do this game as pre-recorded videos 🙏 People will 100% throw spoilers and try to backsit for the outcomes they like more. It would be great to see your first playthrough as you would do it! Awesome start, keep it up, guys!
The decision tree at the end doesn't mean you "missed" things, it means you went one path, but there are also other paths. It gives replay value, so you can play again and make different choices, and see how different it can play out! I say though, it's always good to trust your decisions and let them play out, a lot of people however "Save Scum", or save frequently so that if something happens that they don't like, they can go back and do it differently. I feel like you guys though would fall into trusting your decisions and accepting what outcomes come of your decisions :)
After watching for about a year now I have come to the realization that The Oak is cute! I cant really explain it, but he seems like a real warm big teddy bear kind of guy
Stick to pre-recorded so you don't get screwed by chat spoiling everything. This game is so cool, giving you 85 different endings, depending on what you do in the game.
People will tell you to analyze every little thing but I found it helpful for me to go with what I'd actually do and to trust my instincts when making decisions. But this game is phenomenal so you're in for a ride! 💜
Loving this, loving you guys. One small tip always use R2 - not only does it tell you immediate objectives, but also secondary objectives to explore that may or may not be important. Further more the best thing is it effectively pauses the game giving you some time to think, though its not always available.
I think you should keep more story focused games to being pre recorded, people might spoil stuff or make you go a certain path you dont want to. Keep livestreams for casual stuff like multiplayer games maybe!
I got to say this is a very unique approach to a game play Channel. Instead of having one person dedicated to playing all games the four of you guys going back and forth taking turns while reacting to the story as a whole is very unique. I like it keep it up
You must be young, cause that's been a thing all though the 80s and 90s before the existence of online play. These guys are just doing that but recoding themselves, nothing innovative. Most youtube reactors are narcissistic, so you won't see this often.
im so pumped to see you guys place this game, but 13 minutes in, and mason quinn rushing them to get outside is stressing me out more than the hostage situation 💀 the game only makes you leave/gives you consequences for loitering if you take an ungodly amount of time just standing around/reading magazines, so its always good to collect what you can from an area in an investigation before moving on
The “assistant android” is Markus. They did in fact say his name during your play. Which brings me to my advice of making sure to pay attention and not get too enthralled in side convo. Also, while it may have seemed slow and monotonous playing with the other characters, doing so for you all is a way of making sure you slow down, take in the scene, pay close attention to information and learn to make decisions. Because the decision making and pacing gets faster, you will need to know and understand these basics to make the best informed approaches within time crunches. Best of Luck to you all gentlemen. This should be a wild ride.
in case you weren't aware, the guy who plays Conner is Bryan Dechart. he has his own Twitch and RU-vid channel called Dechartgames. He and his wife, Amelia Rose Blair streams on Twitch on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday. sometimes have bonus streams on Fridays.
RDR2 can be played without playing the first game, its a prequel to the original! Detroit Become Human is one of the best games ever and I’m super excited, I love seeing people play it for the first time
I‘d love if they played RDR2 after this one! I actually played it before 1 too and found it even better this way because otherwise I would have been spoilered in certain scenes of RDR2 😊👍🏻
The sole purpose and joy that brings me into these DBH gameplays is Hank and Connor's beautiful, messy , hilarious and lovely interactions. Those two have such an outstanding bond throughout, love them.
What a TREAT! My partner just mentioned that I must have found my people in this community since what everyone is voting for is exactly what I love. So excited for this one, the continuation of Hogwarts and of course, my favourite game, Red Dead 2. I hope you guys have as much fun as I do!
Any way to get a closer view of you guys/the person in control? Really seeing your reactions is half the fun! I also think when a choice appears is when discussion is warranted, with the player making the final decision, unless the player is lost and needs guidance. (with the exception of larger, over arching decisions. You'll know them when you see them) Don't be afraid to slow down and look around. These early chapters are the best to get a handle of the buttons and camera, so when the action ramps up, everyone will feel confident with the controller. And finally, like others have said, playing live is just opening the space up to spoilers and backseat gaming, so I'd be down with these eps staying prerecorded. Have fun! 😊
It’s been out for 6 days and this video is already your most popular video on the channel. The Detroit gang is huge 🤖 Can’t wait for the next part. Keep up the awesome content, guys. ❤️
Loving this so far! I'm also SO glad this was pre-recorded, and not live. A game like this, especially with timers and having to trust your instincts / pay attention to details, having the distraction of an audience will (in my opinion) ruin the experience. Especially as people are prone to spoilers or otherwise. This game has a lot of story elements, twists, and varying paths that it would be such a shame to get spoiled on any of it or to influence your natural gameplay. I love this game and how thought-provoking it is; I'm eager to see how your journey goes!
Am I glad that you're not doing a live session. Story games like that are best played without the distraction of the chat and reading donations and stuff. And there are so many outcomes that you guys can play the game multiple times. So, don't worry if some comments say that you missed stuff.
Can I just say, ever since I started watching Badd Medicine, Answer has reminded me of Connor the android. At least the best version of him. Can't wait for this series. I had to stay late at work on a Friday to finish up some things. Playing this in the background was the perfect way to end a day that didn't go as planned. Thank you, and I'm so excited for everything to come in this series!
I love how you play this together! I‘d also recommend to play this pre-recorded, so it‘s your choices and you don’t get distracted/spoiled by the live chat. But that‘s just my opinion. I look forward to see you explore the game and characters and maybe react to the endings when you finished. Another great story game I‘d like to suggest is RDR2, which is my absolute favourite and I‘d love to see your reaction. Since it‘s a more linear storyline, I think it might more convenient for a live playthrough. But I got to warn you: it‘s a pretty long, immersive game. For now, I really enjoy this gameplay here and can‘t wait to see the next part ( no pressure) 😊. I already knew you from the movie channel, of course you got a new subscriber here, too, this is just too great, thank you!! 💚
it's cool all of you will be involved with this - just brace yourselves - the Connor segments are the most interesting so whoever gets to play those will luck out lol. Everyone should play his parts equally I think to even out the action and balance it out.
Yeeees this is such an incredible game! My name is Connor, I‘m the android sent by Cyberlife! 😃 So excited to see what choices you‘re gonna pick. This game has about 80 different endings or something 😉 make sure to scan the environment A LOT, especially with Connor!
Btw, time stops when you‘re in the scanning interface! If you‘re on a timed mission or something it‘s good to go in there in case you need to discuss something.
This game is phenomenal. Admittedly, I’m not really into video games/computer games other than the sims maybe 15 years ago 🤣 That being said my younger brother mentioned this was one I might like and I was hooked! It’s basically an interactive film and the graphics are amazing.
LET'S GOOOO I'm so excited for this gameplay! Just an update after the video, I think this game is better pre-recorded as to avoid spoilers and distractions from the game. But as always, its up to you guys. I'm going to be tuning in either way!
Hey guys! Based on some dialogue choices you made here for more fun, you should definitely add Disco Elysium to your list. It's not an action-packed game (mostly on the contrary, it's dialogue-packed), but it's very unique and one of the funniest and memorable games ever made, and its dialogue choices and characters are pure gold (and you actually benefit from picking the wackiest and weirdest options during a playthrough). You totally seem like someone who would really enjoy it!
So excited this is here! I would also add my voice that I would actually prefer this to not be done live, because by this point all the fans know the consequences of all the decisions, and they will (naturally) point you towards the 'best' ending. But I will be watching either way! I hope if you do it live the streams will still be available on RU-vid as my work schedule is quite odd and I would probably miss them otherwise. Looking forward to more!
This was so fun!! I loved all of you playing. I think it might be better pre-recorded. A game like this, too many opinions might be more complicated than you expect. And honestly I love to watch the four of you arguing among yourselves.
Watching everyone's playing styles and figuring out the controls (especially directing the camera) is so relatable and you guys helping each other out - I love this game so much and y'all are so entertaining to watch
There's always one rule I have when I play a game try to look everywhere you can before you progress, because it's often by doing this that you can find what you need to continue. Now you won't find everything and that's ok, you can do that later on when you have more time. Glad that you're observing all the details of the game.
Excited for the coming episodes and getting a bonus feeling of happiness to see you're ALL taking part ... This game expertly makes you second guess yourself while under immense time pressure and by extension sometimes makes you rue the choices you make ... You did a good job on the opening mission, though as you can see by the expansive flow chart: There was certainly room for improvement ... I'm pretty sure some of the games biggest die-hard fans might think you've already committed the grossest cardinal sin and failed the entire game with the direction that you took as soon as Connor stepped out of the elevator ... You're new to the game and under additional pressure as reactors, so I can look past this heinous act and forgive you ... Just to give you a clue - As Dumbledore says: Perhaps more than one innocent life can be saved tonight ... More context is available if you wish ... The controls are quite a bit different from other games and can be a little fiddly ... The visuals are geared more for a cinematic experience so it does feel a little clunky ... Thorough exploration of the environment can unlock beneficial interactions and information ... On the flip side; taking too long exploring can also hinder your progress as situations can sometimes be occurring in the back ground ... Also, as you're already seeing in this episode, the way your playing (one character scene each at a time) might indeed lead to some of you 'hogging' all the best scenes through luck of the draw ... Unfortunate, but unavoidable ... Just try and enjoy the story ... That being said the story does ramp up on all fronts so you guys play the game YOUR WAY, but some general advice: Try to read the situation your character's in and act accordingly ... Don't wanna spoil anything so I'll leave it there. (Entertained to learn Diamond Dave uses the Sledge Hammer approach to game play controlling) ... As for having the game played in a live stream format: It's an interesting prospect and it would be pretty cool to interact with you guys live while you play and maybe take part in your end of session thoughts, however the suggestion of opening up the 'game decisions' to the viewers might NOT be the best idea ... Things can get pretty hectic and since allot of these choices are 'time sensitive with very slim windows' ... Democracy takes time ... Polling decisions for viewers wouldn't really be something you could effectively achieve in a live stream without spoiling future story beats for yourselves ... Besides, we're here to see YOU GUYS make the choices in the moment and deal with the consequences.
just some advice i feel like doing pre recorded gameplay its better than going live. many reasons, some of them including all of you to focus on the game instead of doing multi task (reading chat and playing the game at the same time) & also avoiding spoilers from live viewers that will ruin your guys immersion. please consider this! 🙏🏻
This is such a great idea and can't wait to watch every part of it. Definitely keep doing this pre-recorded thing. The last thing you guys need is a bunch of clowns spoiling everything with unnecessary tips and warnings.
It's so great to see you all playing this together! It definitely makes it more fun! And I'm personally okay with you guys not going live for this one. I worry that viewers who've already played the game and know all the endings will try to steer you toward the "best" ending instead of letting you guys make your own story. So, I personally really prefer this. This was so fun! Love you guys!
Nice! Y’all should check the World Stats when you get to the flowchart after each section, just to see how you compared to others who have played the game. I think that’d be fun for you to react to. You press TRIANGLE to toggle it.
The nostalgia this game brings me and it's not even been that long since it came out. It truly touched me and it'll be a joy to watch you guys' decisions throughout and how you read its themes even tho it's a difficult game to play with others with all the immediate decisions one must do
OMG I didn't know you had a gaming channel, this is going to be INCREDIBLE :D I love your movie reactions and commentary, so I am really interested to see what you have to say about this one! :D Also, I don't know yet how many people might be backseat-gaming, but I wanna let you know that I do not care what ending you'll get, every path is individual to the players and it's one of the things I love most about this game :)
@@yashjoseph3544no it isnt. yes, the dialogue may be a bit cringy in a jennifer’s body-esque way. but the stories in all games are beautiful. you’ve obviously never played any of em if you’re saying that
@@youyeedyourlasthaw But choices doesn't even matter in the first game... and the story took such a dive at episode 5. Ended up being awful. A cool idea, charming graphics and an amazing soundtrack is what it could offer. I would stay away.
I can't explain how entertaining this was. I sometimes get the need to move forward on whatever video I'm waching and I got the impulse here (to be honest I always do) but I had the thought "what if I miss something funny?" I LOOOVED how every time one of you got the control you were moving all around and didn't know how to do things or did them wrong and I specially loved when Mason, Oak and Dave said "I DID THAT" when the rest was explaining how to move around, my favorite line of the video😂😂😂😂 also, it was extremely funny to see you all guys complain about doing whatever and Answer solving cases 😂 loved the entire video😎
This is a fantastic game, the story is very interesting and based on your choices the story can change drastically. Excited to see the rest of your playthrough.
WOAH!! Wait, I was not expecting to find this, I'm new to your reactions and I didn't even know you had a gaming channel, but I love this game, can't wait to see more!!!
I'm really glad you guys play this game! It's like a dream come true because I've been wanting to see this game reaction from your channel for sooo long 🥹👍
DONT PLAY LIVE! This game is notorious for causing absolute chaos in chats. People take the choices wayyyyy too seriously. Save yourself while you can lol
This made me really happy. Here I am, bedridden, but seeing you guys play this game has lifted me up somewhat. Always fun seeing you guys enjoy stuff that mean a lot to your subscribers. I shouldn't be laughing rn but I had a lot of belly laughs especially when Answer kept getting the exciting parts and the rest were stuck in drudgery of like being a maid xD
Let's goooooooooo!!I love this game so much and I am really looking forward to watch you play it.... 🤘🏻😎 Great first part guys. This is going to be awesome!! Cannot wait for more
I'm LOVING this playthrough so far! I can't wait for you to see the ways the story can unfold. If I might make a tiny suggestion, would it be possible for you guys to make yourselves bigger in the corner? 🙏 Though I understand if you're concerned about blocking too much of the game's visuals. 😊
I love you guys, man. Ya'll remind me of my pops. Watching these playthrough's and ya'lls reaction videos makes me feel like I'm chilling with my dad again shooting the shit while we play a game or watch a movie. Keep up the great work, fellas. I hope ya'll hit a million subs+
Yesss! I am here for it. Can’t wait for the next episode. (I personally prefer a recorded session, because you are more focused on the story and characters, instead of talking to chat. The game is very complex and has a lot of details to miss amd choices to make. The four of you are enough to talk about it. But that is me.)
Glad you guys are enjoying this game. It’s truly a unique game, based on what I’ve seen. Fun fact, the actor who played Connor, Bryan Dechart, has played this game multiple times with his wife on their Twitch account, which later gets uploaded to RU-vid. I’d like to recommend that you guys check out his play throughs of this game to see how many different options there are in this game. His channel is called Dechart Games. He and his wife have done at 4-5 complete play throughs of this game, plus he gives some behind the scenes info and trivia. However, be warned that the RU-vid videos are several hours long each, since they were originally streamed on their Twitch. All that being said, I would still recommend checking it out.
Can we all agree Answer did an amazing job on the hostage ive seen many streamers who play games a ridiculous amount and still mess it up. props to you all though
Tapping in again at the end. Really good first playthrough. So glad yall were able to unlock some of the pathways. I was cracking up at Answer getting all the action 😂😂 . The next part is where things pick up so you'll definitely get more excitement and GREAT story!! Tips: Go with your instincts when making choices. Especially on your first playthrough. Dont overthink outcomes, etc. It will be the modt exciting!! Also not sure who said it but dont replay chapters if you get an outcome you dont like. Just roll with it!! Since you're all playing im am very curious and excited to see how your playthrough ends. Thanks for taking us on the journey with you!!
I was just listening to the unofficial theme of this game (20:06 crazy that that song isn’t on the soundtrack!) and I wondered if anyone new was playing this game and saw you guys were! I watch a lot of the reactions and didn’t know y’all did gameplay stuff, will definitely be tuning in more!
I'm soooo glad i found your RU-vid channel! You guys are the best on RU-vid! Subscribed & my absolute favourites now! I love how there's 4 of you playing & reacting! Can't wait to watch more!! ❤
