Dustloop's AC+R page lists N-O as the greatest Venom player of all time. I never could find any really good footage of him though, so I'm really glad for this upload. Thanks LK, I always love good Venom footage.

Yeah the set he had with fenritti(correct me if i'm wrong here) sol right after saying that was pretty good too I think he went liker 2-8 vs him. (daru being the 2.). Really gotta admire the william wallace going on here you know? Daru's screaming "INOOO" instead of freedom though.

I remember my first major tournament back in 2004. The folks I trained with were better than me - in a serious match they would make mincemeat out of me. Seeing them go up against the local heroes was humbling - they got their butts handed to them. Then seeing those same heroes go up against the top players, the ones who flew in from Japan, and they look like helpless children. Seeing so many levels above me and finally understanding where the skill ceiling is in fighting games was an incredible experience for me.

I would be upset with venom absent. Ditto with Johnny. They are staple fighters with their own very unique playstyles. Jam has been in every entry and is quietly absent. Take all of your Gio talk and throw it in the fire. Jam+Ky/Robo-Ky arcs were fantastic. Osoii osoii osoii

I see what you mean but I dunno. They do explode after a delay but hitting ram makes the sword fall so the explosion don't go off and then she just doesn't have her kit for a few seconds

Real gear is when you play against a testament in +r and somehow pull out a w despite how insane the character is. Otherwise 'real gear' is the match you played today.

I actually always remember GG Slash, where is everyone on release thought that Jam was fucking trash, then Tougeki 3x3 happened where KA2 on Jam struck like 14 kills and died only once? It was funny to see his performance reflecting in tier lists as like in gamechariot Jam was high tier, but everywhere else was still low-mid.

First video I saw from you. I knew you were a great player, but I really respect how you can admire, breakdown and use Guilty Gear XX and have apparently done so for a while. It is something I have not heard about much from other top players in games, but I do get the idea of looking into other things or characters in order to take it back to your normal character/game and perform at a higher level. And yeah, I remember being impressed by Woshige even though Millia is a character I always found boring. This matchup looks like the most painful thing ever.

I also thought Woshige was the best Millia until I saw Ranger. That player was something else.... Althought I think He only played Rev2 so I guess we can still say that Woshige was the best Millia Player in General.

The difference is that in +R you can't make a lot of mistake at highest level of play, while in Strive you cannot make too many mistakes at any level of play. Low level +R matches can easily last until timeout, because newbie combos don't do half-life damage and their ability to convert a random hit into a combo is also poor. While in Strive everything does huge damage for no reason and it is also easy to do.
