There is a story in gaiden?

Just a few pointers about Gaiden's plot worth mentioning: - So apparently Duma is suppose to be some sort of god of darkness, whereas Mila is his polar opposite as the goddess of light - Valentina is later renamed Valm (based off Alm) prior to Fire Emblem Awakening (the continent Lon'qu, Virion and Say'ri come from) - It's NEVER explained what Camus or the Whitewing sisters are doing in Valentina - Alm and Cecilia may be cousins since they both refer to Mycen as their grandfather - Rudolf's actual plan was to represent some warrior of darkness of a prophecy that Alm fulfills by killing him in order to stop Duma (which ironically involved aiding him massacre the same people he's trying to save) - Robin is useless, so I never made any promise to protect Grey from a lifetime of alcoholism, plus Clive and Teeta have a more tragic ending if their lover perishes - Zeke becomes Sirius after the events of Gaiden

dont #JustPlayGaiden, but #JustPlayEchoes the game is an amazing remake that explains a lot of stuff that is unknown in Gaiden like: How Rudolf got Mila Why Celica had to leave Ram village Why Mycan did what Rudolf wanted im at Act 6

Alm and Celica may have probably the least amount of dialogue of the FE lords, but they still manage to be the most badass. #JustPlayGaiden

Well, Echoes is out and I've gotta say... This video is still super accurate, from everything from the plot to the weird ass gameplay and dialogue choices. I'm almost convinced that IS based the plot of Echoes off of this rather than Gaiden itself

Wow I'm surprised FE2s story is so bare bone I actually really liked Echoes' story! (Maybe that is just because it is better than Fates' but that is not a big accomplishment...)

Fire Emblem Gaiden was my first game. I'll always love it, even if everyone else hates it. I thought it was pretty good. I giggled a bunch. cx I do believe that the "Gods" are just Dragons, like Naga and such. Duma looks like a dragon, the only thing is he's not completely revived, so he's sort of "melting" and stuff. Ya dig?

Started Gaiden and lost all my data in part 2 and thought "Well I can't be fucked playing through this game anymore, old UI does not sit well with me." But since Ghast is always right I guess I have no choice

Gaiden was technically the first fire emblem I played. I had an emulator with a bunch of different ROMs on it so I tried it out. I got annoyed by everyone dancing on the battle field. First one I actually paid attention to was Sacred stones since I was a 3DS Sucke- I mean, Ambassador.

I lost it at "better Erika"

I've been meaning to watch this for awhile but I wanted to finish gaiden first, and I finally just did!... Now to do it all again with echoes.

I like how much of an increase this video got since Echoes was announced.

I'm playing Echoes (the remake of Gaiden), and Nuibaba is this "mighty mighty" (cleavage down to whatever) lady (she has a good introduction although). I like the original design a bit better. (One, Fire Emblem, stop making female characters either chaste as hell OR look like they stepped out of an S&M dungeon for a smoke.) For someone who doesn't like the FE series, I like how simple this game is (no weapon triangle, no kids, but just having the support system). This is the one redeeming game in the FE series. Plus the story is simple. Alm and Celica go slap a God down.

And now they're making a remake and I can't fucking wait

I started Gaiden, I love it.

I beat Gaiden just now. It was surprisingly good.

I think Duma is something like a minor god, kind of like in Greek mythology you had Zeus who ruled and fathered over the gods, but the gods under him still had divine powers. In this case Zeus would be Naga, I guess?

I just found Gray's Gaiden ending if Tobin dies and it's so sad. Echoes mad it a little happier but it's still depressing.

Man Gaiden was so cool ! It's just an old game but actually I'm not even mad, it wasn't even with THAT bad graphics ! And that magic system was good !

My strategy for the dracozombie maps is just send Clair into the direct middle and watch the carnage.
