I'd be interested to see in that first scenario whether it would have gotten over had a car not been in front. Second scenario would certainly be illegal in the UK (driving over the chevrons) - not to say that people don't make last minute decisions and change lane like that.
It seemed to stay mostly on the right side on the streets without lines. In neighborhoods around me with no lines, it drives in the middle of the road and takes too long to get over for oncoming cars.
Right now it is just a super assist. The point is not now, but how close it is getting to the future when you will not have to pay attention, or even get behind the wheel.
I have a self steering Volvo. That keeps me between the lines on highways and decently marked roads. I love it. Its so much more comfortable, you still have to pay attention but you can focus on other stuff, therfore general awareness goes up and im driving more safely.
Is fsd aggressive for you? I feel like a grandma. After it’s time to go after a red or stop sign, it’s like it wants to race. It accelerates way too fast on chill mode. Is that the case for you or is my teslas brain crazy
