Hey man i just wanted to say how much your videos mean to me. I always wanted to get into riding when i was younger and used to watch all your videos. I remember the me gusta dance stuff and everything. I was just thinking about you and your channel while changing the oil on my 4th bike (mt07). My fiancee just passed the msf course today. You played a big role in my life. Thank you!
Man so many channels have suffered from revenue just falling off a cliff. This was always my favorite channel, kinda bums me out that the days of 2-3 motovlog adventures a week is over. Hope you meet all your goals with the new gig though. Thanks for all the awesome view ropes and laughs over the years.
Basically no employers just accepts another companies certification. You get all the same benefit just knowing how to drive one. Call it a PIT in your resume and they’ll assume you’re in the know
Bro get into the maintenance side of the business. There’s so much growth in this field and it allows upwards movement really fast. I started 5 years ago as an equipment tech and now I’m at a new job as the supervisor for the maintenance department making over double what I used to. You have the personality to be a supervisor.
I used to be a picker at Home Depot. It's good to get to know the warehouse first, the shortcuts, and locations and work on the biggest orders down to the smallest orders, and it makes it easier hope this helps you out.
Damn, I started watching your videos back in 2014, 10 years ago.. that’s wild to me.. but I am happy to hear you got a job your are happy with man, truly. Idk if you will see this or not but two pro tips I can offer from my days of working in a warehouse in Ontario.. 1. Get Sketchers memory foam work shoes, your feet will thank me later, (if you are required to wear steel toes, check out Reebok titanium alloy toed shoes (if they still make them). 2. Try to get into inventory if your warehouse has that department.. it is one of the best stepping stones into an office job, or several other jobs that are outside of those cold concrete walls… lol again, congrats dude. Have always loved your content.
Congratulations on your Job Derek!! CHEAAAH👌🏽👌🏽 I’ve been watching you since Sophomore year of High school… now about to be 23 soon, time goes by very fast.
Love to hear it brother been here since the pit bike adventures will forever stay. You have become my favorite RU-vidr of all time over the years, recently got me a new HOG too!!!
Hell yeah dude, and congratulations! I like how you go into detail about the specifics of the job. It's funny, I used to have no concept of warehouse work, but now that I work for a business software company, we deal with lots of inventory management questions every day, and I know about all the stuff you're talking about.
man i always love seeing your videos pop up, super excited ya got a good paycheck coming in and like the others are saying push to get that forklift certifications! also you and a few other guy are what made me finally get a motorcycle (that got stolen in under a week lol) and have been riding since!
Good for you Derek! Been watching the channel for years; I wish you nothing but the best. Keep doing the motovlogs even if, you're just cruising to work! Much love!
I drove 18 wheeler for about 7 years, when I went to a job were I was on my feet a lot, my feet hurt for the first 3 months, at first, when I go t home, I would latterly cry when I got off me feet.
same here man first week that happened to me literally got headaches from the feet pain. n i thought i was in decent shape like not being overweight or anything but dam.
Thanks for the update So glad you are enjoying the new gig! Hope you really enjoy it AND CRF LES GOO! Thanks for always making us a video you been looking out for the cookout for a HOT Minute!
Right on man , i’m happy for you! No matter what you do we’ll still show you support because of how genuine an how solid of a person you are! Keep up the hustle and don’t forget to take it ez🤙🏾aloha
Man I've been binge watching your videos over the past couple weeks wondering when you were gonna upload next. Glad to hear you're doing good and got a new job. It'll be worth the long hours and hard work. Glad to see a new vid drop. Cheah
Congrats on the new job. Fun fact you can drift those pallet trucks if its one of the of the ones that hold two pallets. A pieces of pallet stuck in one of the rear roller wheels will allow you to slide it around. Got real good at it when i worked in a warehouse like that.
Congrats on the new job Darek! I've been watching your channel for years. I've working on my resume and interview prep for my job search for a month thus far. It's pretty disheartening to go without work for a while but I'm trying to keep my head up. Glad you like the warehouse position. Rock on!
Good luck with your new job, sounds good, hope it works out for you, even when I did over the road, I would come home after two weeks, record and edit a video over the only time I was off, and I that's how I did it.
Hell ya man that's sick dude! For me, I struggle to do cardio to lose weight but when I'm getting paid for it it's easy. Very happy for you man! I worked electrician work for a while and had the same problem with my feet. Insoles def help but I started to believe feet just aren't made to stand still. I always noticed walking was painless even for hours but standing for 40 mins I'd start dying. So now my job is walking 10-13 miles a day and I have no issues. Gl brother!
Congrats on the new job! When I worked in a warehouse, we had to wear steel toe boots, no hard toe shoes. I found the most comfortable boots I found were Iron Worker boots for concrete floors.
Congratulations on your new job brother! I really do hope it’s something you enjoy doing once you work out the kinks. Good people deserve success! And your one of the good dickheads! 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations Derek - very happy for you and that would be awesome seeing you on a new CRF300L (that's the same bike Itchy Boots rides around the world in)! Those are phenomenal dual-sport bikes and there's a reason they've become so popular! Glad to hear things are going well and appreciate the update - stay safe out there brother!
4:20 when you were going over those little highway bumps your voice had me dying. Even more hilarious is this is my wake and bake youtube sesh time... 😂😂
happy to see you still around. id be sad to find out you quit. im watching your videos like for a decade already... sometimes i just bingewatch to get up to speed again. good luck with your new job buddy. CHEEEAH
Les go a new Upload Ferk yeah,.congrats on the new job bro and glad its going amazing. I was going to mention ive never seen a cab over in your videos, You'd think they'd be waaay better trucks for all your city drivers. Cant beat a Scania or Volvo or other Cab overs. In New Zealand we have both no restrictions here to what truck you want lol. They definitely look cooler I reckon, but I do love seeing a long nosed old school frightliner or International .. You definitely deserve that treat. Happy easter
Derek man.. I haven’t watched your vids ina long time and it’s made me depressed I stg! I used to watch each and every video and was always so excited to see a new post. I was here around when you started your motovlog I think I stumbled upon your page before that as well. But I didn’t sub until the motovlog EP2 and man you were and still are my fucin favorite dude. I can’t tell you how many words I’ve picked up and used because of you 😂 I Absolutely miss the Pit bike days. Back when you got the SSR I throughly enjoyed those. Hope you are doing amazing man. Peace and have a good weekend Brotha!
Congrats on the new job. Sounds like you'll be cutting the LB's in no time. I've been working at a FedEx facility for almost a year now and that first week or so was pretty brutal. But then again I'm old AF so it took awhile to get used to. Good shoes is a must, don't be afraid to spend the money on a good pair.
Congrats on the ncie job! Regarding your feet, they'll stop hurting over time & won't hurt at all after a few months, I had the same experience working office jobs for a decade then a job where I'm on my feet all day... There's nothing like barly being able to walk after a shift xD
My husband started out as a forklift driver, now he’s a switcher (moving semi’s around the yard). He works 4, 12 hr shifts and it’s super good $$! Glad you found something similar! I think you’ll like it.
So I’m in my late 30s now but when I was in my early 20s I did this kind of work. Supposed to be 10 hours but some days were up to 18. We did fast food merchandise and stuff like that. My only advice is lift properly and be ergonomic about the way you handle things. I got a bad shoulder and neck now because of get in a hurry and lift stuff awkwardly. We worked hard! You’ll drop a bunch of weight, especially in the summer time when it’s hot!! But congrats on the good pay bro!! It’s tough out here right now and we all need it!!
hell yeah brother union and good pay, and the feet hurting problem the first boot i ever worn that fit right no break-in these Carolina boots feel like im floating all day rather wear em over my normal shoes
It’s crazy to think I’ve been watching since I was 14 and I’m 25 now, OG Dickhead I’ve worked a couple warehouse jobs and your feet will hurt like that for a month tops and you will adjust and they won’t hurt anymore. Hope alls going well for yoy brotha CHEAH!
Happy you got a job locked in bro 💚🖤 sounds like it’s healthy for you financially & physically. Stay blessed and much love from a long time fan. CHEEAA! 🍻
Coming from a former and multiple warehouse worker, it's going to be tough to adjust to, expect about 3 weeks to fully (body wise) adjust to the labor, sleeping habits on the other hand, about 2 months for me. You got this
Derek I’ve been with you for a hot ass minute bro and I’m glad to see you happy and still doing RU-vid. Congrats on your new job brother and remember we love you and we’ll support you through it all❤
I used live in Fontana. I'm so familiar with the area you're working in. I used to work at the Kmart DC in Ontario. Be safe and looking forward to seeing more videos. Cheap!
Fn A man, glad to see ya kickin ass out there now! You take Fanny out and get them good scallopez with aaaalllll the good shizz! I think i need me one of them Union jobs
Congratulations on the new job brother! Been watching forever! I miss the cemetery runs and stories… Anywho, invest in some redwings! Preferably a red wing store that has a machine that molds an insert for your foot! It’s a little expensive but a Game changer! I'm a UPS driver, we’re always on our feet. Nike fly-knits with a thick foam sole always work too. But I’m pretty sure there’s osha requirements.
