The thing is, everything in Bleach leads back to the 'fear of death', with Hell being the ultimate representation of that finality. It was the one realm separate from the original united realms, the only realm not effected by Yhwach's ascension, the ultimate resting place of the most powerful and prominent characters in the series... beyond even that, it is implied that the Soul King allowed himself to be dissected and sealed, likely for something to do with Hell. My theory is that the Soul King foresaw all the events leading up through the TYBW and the CFYoW arcs but couldn't necessarily see the events within Hell itself. Like how Yhwach couldn't perceive the Soul King with his Almighty, the 'Warden of Hell' is likely on the tier of the Soul King, which would mean the Soul King's Almighty couldn't necessarily work on him. As such, the Soul King allowed things to progress to the point where we have characters like Ichigo, Hikone, Kazui hanging around, each with the natural ability to become stronger than Prime Soul King and challenge the Warden. I say this because the Soul King was made of everything except Hollows; Ichigo, Kazui, and Hikone are everything the Soul King is plus Hollow.
Having this all symbolized through the potential villains(OG Gotei captains, other Gotei captains, Espada) gives this concept even more weight. The past will literally come back to haunt them.
@@pokemonfan2630it’s already been seen that kubo does this for fun and takes the breaks he wants when needed, if he gets pressured to do it, he might think of it as a chore. It’s only really the less fortunate manga writers that are forced to keep writing as they aren’t popular enough to have a real say in the working hours/conditions. But then again he could see it as a way to motivate him to make more bleach content but then again we won’t know til it happens.

Would be a great setup to the saga that needs to happen after that. Aizen becoming the actual bleach version of Lucifer. He wanted to become greater then the Soul King, God basically, and was close to it. Then he was banished to.the very bottom of soul society, and is simply bound, but becoming stronger. Aizen becoming the warden of Hell just makes sooooo much sense.
Imagine remaining Quincies, Arrancars, Soul Reapers from TYBW make an alliance against reanimated former enemies and allies who came back from hell. It'll be so much similar fo Naruto SWW4 with SAF against reanimated shinobi forces
An interesting way they could write the hell arc could easily make it the best arc: 1. Have Shunsei and a couple other captain engage in conflict against the heads of soul society or Central 46. Have Central 46 engage in combat with weapons gained from Nemiya after the 10 year timeskip, so they can be an actual threat. Have Shunsei and a couple other strong captains [those who haven't gone to hep with the hell conflict] beat them and change the hierarchy of the soul society forever. [This could be a treated as a secondary story which can tie into hell like making some of these top central 46 members die and come back in some form in hell for the final conflict.] 2. Incorporate Hell into the story by having a few original big bads and some OG Gotei 13 members like Yachiru, Genrusai and some of the other old members from 1000 years ago. Do it organically by expanding on the strong soul reapers get sent to hell story and Kazui's connection. 3. Show how Hell is tied to the overall world of bleach in depth. 4. Show Kazui's connection to hell. 5: Show more new Bankai of course. 6. Keep the arc compact, not too many villains or events outside of the two main ones. Tie a couple characters to the overarching theme especially characters with less screentime. 7. Show Ichigo's and friends full potential. 8. Make the final big bad/bads strong but not too broken.

Kubo mentioned he made Ichigo a translator to bring the two world together... I'm assuming that's London & Japan. When will both collide? Don't know but it'll be dope asl. Ninny & Noel ain't got the firepower to hang with the like of Gotei or whatever is in Hell so I doubt it's now 💀. Also I feel they'll be airing/dropping chaps farther apart from each other considering BTW is seasonal. He's just now dropping BTW S2 as he was def busy on the anime. He'll be free afterwards... Can't wait for the Bleach universe to expand on some Invincible type stuff.
At this point I’m thinking that burn the witch was just a way for Kubo to expand the world of bleach so the hell arc introduction in bleach may not be what we think. We might get a third completely different series that is an expansion of both. It wouldn’t make sense that the potentially world ending threats in each series wouldn’t affect each series.
@@kite36actually I find out that heroes from BtW really are connected with the hell. I suppose characters BtW take energy from there. You know, in history witches were blamed because of their connection with devils. I think the same happens here. Pay attention to details. Firstly, main characters BtW wear hairpins reminding hornes of devils. Secondly, Bruno's technic is similar to invocation using pictograms. Therefore I believe, BtW has strong connection with Hell. So will see what will happen

The Hell Arc is actually Poetic now that i think about it, u have a place that is For Sinners & yet the Original sin was Established by the ppl who created the system & so everyone in the system can either choice to participate in the sin when they die i.e soul society or have their own sin cast them to hell & that's where the captains come in, ppl who protect the sin original sin as well as commit sin to maintain the System😂😂 so in a sense guilt by association
nobody talks about the genius of the name “soul society.” when kubo shows that all problems in the world are rooted in soul society, he’s saying that all problems in our world are that of society, and that’s really what Bleach is about. every aspect of Bleach is commentary about the very same systems we see in the real world that we hardly question and how the bad people that emerge from the system are a symptom, not just evil individuals. but the reality is that the system never changes. the system is too powerful. things return to the status quo over and over again.
Well, that's because (according to Kubo) Bleach is a character based story and not a world building story, he put more emphasis on the characters and their development, which is also why he draws less background, and I might be wrong but I think giving us those hints is for us to make it up ourselves because Kubo also says he loves when fans beings up speculations
The video is great but its not really a mystery why Kubo leaves these societal and systematic problems to fester. In real life we do the exact same thing. Recognize problems, make a fuss about them and then just ignore them because they dont apply directly to us, and the cycle repeats. It'd be ridiculous if every little problem was fixed after each arc. But besides that, lets hope for the hell arc 🙏
Kazui being the antagonist from soul society perspective especially central 46 during the hell arc will make so much sense. Let me explain We know soul society is a corrupt place that have been doing genocide, human experiment, letting the rukon district to rot , rampant in poverty, inequality and crimes. The shinigami do little to no effort of fixing this for decades even century. After they send soul to the after life that soul is leave to survive of their own. Decease family can't be reunited and they may even have a life worst than they have back when they are still alive. The only way to get out of the rukon district is to join the shinigami academy and eventually become a shinigami. This is what Rukia, Renji, Rangiku, Toshiro, Kenpachi, Gin, and others non noble soul reaper did. But after they left the rukon they just seems to forget about it and never look back, they can use their position as liteutenant or captain to improve the standard of living for the other inhabitant of the rukon while someone like rukia that is given a noble status can help the rukon even more than the other i mentioned before. This what ichigo don't have in his character, as a bleach fan you must realize that ichigo isn't like other anime protagonist. The main difference is that ichigo doesn't grand goal like becoming the pirate king, wizard king, hokage, demon king ect. Ichigo only wanted to protect that he held dear meaning his friends and family. This is proven when after orihime got kidnap by starrk and ulquiorra is release from Caja Negación kenpachi tells ichigo to go to karakura town to support the shingami there since his job as a substitute shinigami is protect his town district, while he and byakuya will deal with ulquiorra but ichigo correct kenpachi by saying that his job isn't to protect karakura town but to protect his friends. Now this is to me can confirm the main difference between Ichigo and Kazui. Ichigo doesn't care about anything else as long as his friends and family are safe. He doesn't care about the rukon citizen or some bystander he will prioritize his friends and family over them. In soul society his friends are the shinigami and since all of them live confortably in the seretei ichigo never bother checking on the rukon district and it's citizen. How their living standard are and how they are treated. Ichigo has the power as one of the most powerfull character in bleach and status a shiba noble, hero of the winter war and hero of the thousand year blood war to back him if he want to reform how things are in soul society to help the rukon district but he never did because he never want to. This is really sad because ichigo is from japan a perfect example of a military dictatorship that turn into a thriving democracy after ww2. Which is what soul society is base out of (pre ww2 japan). Ichigo can look at his country as an example of what soul society could have been but he never bother to. But what if Kazui has different view? While ichigo look at the rukon district with apathy because it didn't had anything to do with his friends and family, what if Kazui look at the rukon with sympathy and wanted to change how things work. This will lead to a direct conflict with the central 46 that govern the soul society since it can be threat to their concept of balance. This can be a blueprint to a revolution type of arc and a civil war arc between the shinigami. Also a clash of ideology between Ichigo and Kazui. This clash of ideology going to fit each of their name. Ichigo means the one who protect and his character is always about protecting his love ones. Kazui name means the brave one or one courage, maybe the brave/courage part of his name mean he is brave enough to stand up against and make change to the already existing system. Finally it can be a tribute to the shiba clan history and their view on things. A clan which ichigo and kazui belong to. In the cfyow novel it said that shiba clan wanted to create a world where hollow can live in peace and it is the only one of the five noble clan that reject the idea of the soul king being sealed. The shiba also the only noble clan that oppose tsunayashiro of tore the soul king appart and make the soul king a puppet for their convenient. The shiba wanted to rebel against tsunayashiro proposal and even want to sacrifice himself which weirdly enough almost happen to ichigo if using yhwach body didn't work.

Also, it's important to highlight, that Aizen was *sealed*. Not KILLED. Yes, there are justification for that in-universe, but from the story-telling point, it's because he's still plays an important role, highlighting the unresolved conflict. Like a grain of sand in your eyes, it reminds you that there were reasons this guy went through all those things.

Aizen's objective was not to overthrow the current iteration of society. His motivation was simple: he didn't want to be subjugated by anyone. The one who wanted to completely change things and bring the world back to its primal state was Yhwach.

I really hope the Hell arc happens. I also hope it's a nice meaty arc. One that will end up with more than 53 episodes. There is probably so much Kubo can do with arc. Introducing new characters while bringing back old ones. This has to be done for that reason and others. There was just too much filler, now that I think about it. And we need more great canon. I am looking forward to the end of this arc. We waited 10 years for it. And so far it has not disappointed. But we do need a nice long arc to finish it off, it that will be the end. I really hope it happens.
IMO Reio gave up himself to drastically change how the reality was, meaning that the previous reality was way worse than the actual one. IMO worlds used to collide with each other(Hueco Mundo, Soul Society, Human World and Hell) and there where almost no boundaries, making the human world suffer the most. Also if Yhwach was the son of Reio it means that Reio bonded to a mortal women because quincies are half humans so maybe that was a mortal sin for a multidimensional being like Reio back in the days, so maybe there where multiple reasons for Reio to give himself up. JUST IMO.
This is a great oppurtunity for bleach to expand the lore: 1) what happens to powerful entities after they die 2) the dirty truths, and orginal sin that keeps the system churning 3) new enimies: DEMONS! I mean more like the Oni from Japanese folklore with elements of western depictions. As well as old faces, the captains perhaps even the orginal Gotei 13 but hellified would be awesome 4) Seeing Ichigo's progression into adulthood and seeing his powers matured, seeig his interaction with old and newer characters. 5) Learning the truth about Kazui's powers
Think aside from fallen or banished shinigami ( may literal be demonized \ hellified kenpachis ) and hollows that are ghouls or evolved into ghouls that are actual demons down there as well.
I don’t even have insanely high expectations but the thought of seeing Kubo’s take on Lucifer would be rad. Plus the idea of fighting the captains again just makes me giddy. Yamamoto and Unohana as enemies would be insane. Finally seeing what Ukitake can do is just exciting to think about, especially since he’s supposed to be insanely powerful.
One of my biggest questions with Bleach was why Ichigo seemingly went along with the status quo, aka the soul society's injustices. I think things will be more exposed in hell arc, and sides must be taken. Ichigo's son will be involved somehow, and that would pit Ichigo against some of the captains, or it would pit the captains and Ichigo against the royal palace and royal families. A lot can be done with the hell arc; I want to see what Kubo does. In a way, you could think of all of the previous arcs as the buildup of themes like "fear of death " and the hell arc being the conclusion where death is confronted.
Since the wording of certain Bleach lore material is potentially coming to the fore (I.e. the Jigoku-Cho/ Hell Butterflies), we have a golden opportunity for Kido/DEMON MAGIC to become more relevant.
Cool video dude, i am impressed. Kubos amount of foreshadowing has always been impressive and a question i recently started asking to myself was" what happened to the souls that die in soul society?" Well seems the weakee ones turn ones with them, the stronger ones go to hell. And this is a flawed system, cause it can only go out of balance after some time( and the entire bleach story was always about balance of the worlds). It would even be from a narrative standpoint interesting cause ichigo is now full trained and they can focus on his child more( even though ichigo will probably always remain important).
Kyoraku literally said every person captain level is in hell. So the og thirteen court guard squads, espada, strenritter and some other people too. This arc will be sick
i think the main reason we need an hell arc is because we all want to see all the Lieutenants use bankai. Its also hilarious how in the Burn the Witch soul society there doesn't seem to be a big slum area.
It's great, because as long as Soul Society remains it's always gonna lead to some new conflict it seems so in turn we never have to run out of Bleach content! On the other end...you seem to believe that somehow the Hell Arc of all things will be what covers the core of all these issues that seem to stem from Soul Society. Here's the thing though. Shunsui at least seems to have a rather equal grip on Central 46, especially compared to his predecessor. The only exception were the Great Nobles and in CFYOW we literally got rid of the biggest problem that stems from that with or without Central 46's help. In addition the Soul King like it or not is kinda a necessary practice that I don't think anyone's gonna risk experimenting with. Unless you want to go the antagonists' paths of "True Kings" that are living and active but that seems like a potential recipe for disaster. Outside Ichigo is there anyone noble enough? Even if he was that, he has his own life to live and doesn't deserve to be like Starrk on a Godlike Scale in the World of the Living. Shunsui and his friend knew that. You also seem to believe there's a single person or group we could attribute all these problems to, but as of now there are none. All potential threats like that as of now have been eliminated. That's realistic to our world too. Sadly there *isn't* someone like that as of now as much as we might like it to be so. "Evil" is in the years of culture, history, and practices of the Soul Society and the people who continue it's legacy are either dead or kept in check if not improving. We have people like Nayura Amakado too who are definitely more "progressive" in nature to further keep things stable. The Wives Tale of Hell is a Wives Tale for a reason. It's been passed around over time. That's just it of Hell. It's Unknown. Eldritch. Anyone in charge seems to be simply doing their job to keep order. The "lowly residents" like Szayelaporro are just desperate criminals. Maybe they've learned some "Truth" but they're still kept in check. I doubt anyone who rules over Hell is gonna tie back to the Soul Society or that killing or destroying them is actually gonna solve anything that's a result of simply bad culture. Bad civ. I think it just needs time to "air out" and we need to handle the next threats that come during that time. If you'd like you could attribute things to Ichibe I guess but he's literally the opposite of Hell, he's the closest to an Archangel and about invincible. But starting a pointless conflict and somehow winning with him just seems unwise because as I said. He's the Eyeball Monk. He has necessary Knowledge and History. So you see I'm with Kisuke on this. The Last Man. I don't excuse or condone half of these people's actions but as of right now until we get new info, I just see it as a new threat of the world's balance to handle. This wouldn't be the Arc with what little we know to be the one to condemn Soul Society because there is no one identifiable to really condemn. Maybe we could learn of the as of now unknown Great Noble Clan I guess? The only connection we really have to Soul Society is the potential to ask the "dead" of the past of things which everyone seems to think will happen. It seems too fanservice though as much as I'd like it. For all we know Soul Society's other branches might hold the answers we seek...

Hell Arc would truly bring some thought on sins, which Soul society members quite gleefully went for. And as the old leader had passed away in war and his compassionate and thoughtful successor, they would undergo new settings, not only to reinforce Soul society from whatever is to come, but strengthen the unity in the realm. It would seem quite a massive subject to go for. I wouldn't want Tite Kubo to go with too much pressure once again. We have known him having a lot of motivation troubles when it comes for this.
If you think about it, even TYBW arc is just essentially expanding on the thing we first found out from the Aizen's plotline, and things he supposedly was aimed to destroy. If you know what soul king is and how he ended up that way, and how the TYBW ends - Isn't that... re-contextualizes AIzen's last words before being sealed in the original show? Doesn't that make you think - "oh, so Aizen actually had a point, despite being ego-driven prick"? And, if you think about, we see as Ichigo himself just goes through all these arcs, with every step of the way becoming closer and closer to the thing he once thought of as bunch of bad guys who kidnapped Rukia and were about to execute her for BS reasons. I'm not sure what's the goal of Kubo behind all this is, but there is a goal, clearly. Or at least, was before he got burned by publishers during TYBW manga run.
This is first-rate Kubology! No wonder it got over 400 likes in the first 2 hours! Hell is the final unexplored frontier of Bleach, the only "realm" not balanced by the Soul King, except through it's exclusion. Hell's apparent function is to sequester "toxic" reishi (reishi that is either "polluted" by "sin" or too concentrated to be re-absorbed by the universe) from the other realms of existence. Is this necessary for the universe, or is there another possible solution? The Hell chapter reveals that Hell is only "sealed" by the difference in reiatsu on either side of the Gates of Hell. That was never a problem for maintaining the ordered state the Soul King created, until - inevitably - Hell got full. Now there's more reiatsu in Hell pushing outward on the Gates of Hell than there is in Soul Society, Hueco Mundo and the Living World combined. So, in addition to providing Kubo an opportunity to "right the wrongs' Soul Society has not only tolerated, but perpetuated, the Hell Arc will have to address three problems simultaneously: 1) all Hell is literally about to break loose, 2) Ichigo and everyone with "Captain-class" spirit pressure is automatically damned when they die (except ironically Aizen, who might never die), and 3) Ichigo's son is tricking souls into going to Hell (contributing to the imbalance) and we don't know why. And I suspect Urahara, Mauyri, Ichibe and maybe Aizen all know more about this situation than they've revealed so far, which may create some unusual alliances.
One thing I was shocked about in new breaths from hell was that shunsui had the idea about konso resai and still didn't waver to send his master and his best friend to hell
This was good and I would like to add that they need another arc because the thousand year blood war arc never really explains what ichigo's powers really are. There is a lot to be desired on how his powers work. He just feels incredibly incomplete as a character to me right now.

The Hell arc will happen, at some point. Kubo said so. He probably has his hands full with the anime currently, so i think we can safely assume the next chapter will come out roughly after the final anime episode is finished
Flame i haven't seen ANY videos on the Getsuga jujisho. From what i see the technique feels like the soul reapers equivalent of a bow and arrow. The dagger is the bow and the long sword is the arrow
They probably give the captains to hell as a sacrifice to whoever is in control there. What better way to pacify an enemy than to feed them the strongest souls you have.
Brilliant take, if you think about it, it doesn't make sense that the the zero division is immortal(Can be killed but somehow can be brought back) but the very being they protect can be killed. It means that their immortality or un-killable nature is not tied to the soul king but they are immortal through another means which I speculate might be linked to the very reason the captain class fighters are sent to hell upon death. Why does it take 10 years before the ritual can be performed? Why does it involve killing hollows? It all just sounds like the corruption of a naturally occurring process.
They're linked to their palaces, so as long as they're intact, they can be brought back. Ichebei can come back if someone speaks his name, and he can revive the others.
I will say that Ichigo did change the way the Seireitei thought throughout the story, at least the captains and leutenants. They are completely different than what they were at the beginning. At least imo.
The reason why I want the hell arc is so I can see Nnoitra again. One of my favorite characters and I would love it if he and Nel had a proper face off (with Nel actually winning so she could actually do something in Bleach lol).
@alphagatorstudio8933 in the part where he talks about how when people die and go to the soul Society they are split up from their loved ones and how sole Society is actively keeping the the people from uniting. So, for the Tower of Babel, God punished Humanity in the form of the language barriers to prevent them from coming together and pulling a stunt like that again. I really want a hell arc so that Kubo can get the room he DESERVES to develop his ideas. When TYBW arc was being released and we were told it was suddenly cancelling, everyone knew that it was Shonen Jump pulling the plug. Yet now, years later, it's "because he was sick." If it was because Kubo was sick, he could've, oh, I don't know, taken hiatuses? Like nearly every other SJ author does? Oda literally takes a month's long break every year and it's totally fine!! Hunter x Hunter goes on hiatus so often it might as well not be a series anymore. But Kubo is where we draw the line, when things were getting really good? Yeah okay SJ. I absolutely believe "hE WAs SiCk" is the only reason it was ended quickly. Hell arc could give him another chance to flex his storytelling skills like he DESERVES and also potentially a better ending, and that's as a fan of the final chapter. But he is even more stubborn now about "I only draw what I want to draw," which I respect, but also, I fear that if we keep saying "please?" he will decide "no" more strongly. So while I hope and pray for a Hell arc, I just... I also don't want Kubo to feel pressured. Not after what happened before.
I think Central were a supportive body to the SS. The general captain was actually holding power and above him Zero Squad. The general cooperated with the Central as long as their laws weren't nothing major.
True the hell Arc is the latest chapter of bleach and i would love this world to continue based on that. Not that this video is about that but still(btw i typed this comment before finishing the video). As for the video's real aim, yeah the soul king and all that jazz its not right. I hope bleach will continue after TYBW since it has a lot of potential. In the end we will heave to wait and see if it will continue or not.
I think you may have mentioned this before, but imagine tying in the primordial 5 great noble family progenitors with the influence of hell enhancing their abilities as either the semi-finals (the actual final enemy could be a King of Hell/Satan/a naive Kazui if kubo executes it properly somehow) or the true final enemies of the hell arc working together to tip the scales in Hell's favour. (Religious Fan-fiction: The 5 great noble family progenitors would then, in this case, symbolize themselves as Princes of Hell [Polar opposite to Squad Zero symbolizing as Archangels, the Prime Soul King as God and Yhwach as Jesus inheriting his father's throne to become the current new God of the Bleachverse] and with maybe someone we have yet to meet or we already know of them as their Ruler/King of Hell).
If Kubo will continue the Hell Arc, none of these mentioned things will happen, it will most likely be another arc with the Shinigami vs a group of strong guys but in a new settings and that is it.
Kubo went hard wtith the violence and Gor ein thr Blood war. Imagine all he can do with the setting literally being Hell it's self. Plus we can leanr more about those Hell beings that accompanied Szayel in the Hell Chapter.
there was a reason why it was pointed out that hell only came about because aizen and yhwach are gone. kubo points directly to the fact that the big villains were in fact critical for the world having a path to change and how without them, hell is going to encroach.
3:52 im rewatching bleach with my friend. and i was stunned to remember that there's a pit full of hollows that they can just throw people in. hollows. the people they purify??? like wtf
I hope for 2 things, for hollows/arrancars back in the plot they were one of the most badass thinks in the series And somethink for my boy chad i mean hell is perfect to give him power up.
Nah it was all one world. There was no difference between heaven, hell, and the living. Until the soul king used the power of The Almighty to transform them into separate worlds. Just my thoughts lol I haven't read any of the manga or light novels just watched the anime several times 😅
@@Guts-DemonSlayer it wasnt soul king who used the power it was the nobles who backstabbed him and created soul society, hueco mundo and the world of the living. He was a teastrial human being with great powers. Well it was his power but his limbs got all chopped off and got scattered thru the 3 world the royals made. His just a wessel for the soul.
There is some info we know about hell since the begin, things like humans who comited "sins", never explained what is a sin in the bleach universe, desconcidering what the soulsociety did to reyo, when killed as a hollow or as shinigame go to hell and can't become reatsu to be used by soulsociety and The door's from hell normally only open to take in the sinners.
