Carlos is the most humble and genuine guy

I went to their skate camp and carlos was the instructor. He was so nice to everyone and caring. I had been really afraid to drop in and he really helped me out. He was so nice and supportive and never gave up on anyone. I hope he’s doing really well now.

Yo he didn’t quit, he wanted to do something more with his life and wanted to go home, and was tired of hurting himself.

He's not mad about braille. He had his time there. He helped them film content. There is always one in the group that will go big and do the crazy stuff. He was just that guy. He got hyped up and enjoyed his work. Always pushing to do bigger badder things. He grew from the experience and now he has a platform to build from. He's got it going on now. He's good

Once I saw the main guy from Braille on a Scientology ad, and hearing him so hyped on them.. I never clicked on another one of their videos

So Braille paid him as an employee - Carlos had progressed and needed some more cash to warrant the risks he was taking. They said no. He moved on. Happens every day in every career. No one is wrong, that’s business and life.

Yeah, carlos was definitely the top skater at Braille imo. Whenever they had a crazy idea, carlos always stepped up to the challenge and was usually the last man standing. Good luck to carlos.

Carlos had the biggest balls in Braille for sure, they weren't the same after he left. Someone get this man on JRE!

This guy is so focused, that his body literally started telling him to chill. It's good that he reflected and figured out where he needs to be for his own best life. I'm sure he will continue to be a great! I also hope he will cameo in Braille in the future!

Met this guy about a year ago, genuinely an extremely nice and talented skater and is truly an inspiration for me to try new things and be a positive person

the point that impressed me the most was when Carlos was talking about wanting to help people get better at skating in general and he says "give them as many pointers as I learned from braille". He did NOT have to tie back to braille at that point he could have said so many other things but this man is a damn professional and a pragmatic speaker and he has my utmost respect forever.

Carlos playing guitar with his dad is probably the most wholesome thing I've seen in a while. Such a good human, I'm happy he's doing what he needs to do for himself right now.

Braille was just to much for Carlos, imagine sending it and hurting yourself like that almost each and every day for videos and committing to it. When really it’s just a lot more relaxed to skate normally and with a team and friends and focus on more attainable things rather than clout and sending it for the views. He’s very talented and better off on a serious team than just random daily skate content.

Carlos is a beast. I'm happy he made decisions that kept him happy.

Carlos not just a good skateboarder he could probably skate anything that has wheels or a flat surface. Hes also such a true individual with no alto ego.... They will miss him.

As someone who's a little older and lost my parents a little early in life, Carlos has it right going back and spending the time while he has it and can enjoy it. I'm happy for him to be able to do that and still press forward in his skateboarding career. He sounds like he's going to be a great skate coach, too!

Carlos will always be my favorite, is just such a genuine dude, sleeping on a futon in the warehouse and still slamming out content for these guys everyday, he's a real one just wish they didn't place so much on his shoulders, he hard carried braille at the start forreal.

I met Carlos last summer and he was one of the coolest dudes ever super chill and a sick skater

Carlos is a Grade A Certified Good Dude. Really hope life treats him well, he's clearly worthy of it. Also - learning how to say "no" is a hard and important skill. "I stayed to help clean up" while already putting in 10 hours days? Sometimes it's okay to say yes to yourself. We all learn though. Wishing Chthulhu the best!

Carlos is such an amazing skater and an amazing person, I love Braille, they got me to want to start skating after 10 years, I skated a bit as a kid but was never that good, had 2 kids, now I'm 27 about a hundred pounds overweight and just decided to get myself a new board and get back into it, should be here any day and can't wait, thanks for all the good videos carlos

I love Carlos regardless from his braille days but the song all the way in the end of the video is so on key harmonies were perfect. Props and hats off to that men. Go out there and sweat!!!

I quit skateboarding when i was about 17 years old. I was going through becoming a man, yada yada. I suddenly had no time for a board. I'll be 27 in 4 days and i just landed my first ollie in 10 years. I've been trying to dial a pop shuvit, and the braille vids have helped me SO much in just getting back in and getting comfortable. Not only that but the *culture* that braille has helped to garner among other skaters has made me feel like i belong to a *family* again. What i've realized is that through ALL of the crazy shit i've been through, skateboarding has been a constant - in one way or another. Whether that be that someone i hung out with skated, or whether i used the determination and "send it" mindset skating gave me for the real world, it's ALWAYS been a constant. Thanks Carlos, for contributing to that On an unrelated note: THAT MF IS 29?! SERIOUSLY?!

Carlos seems like a really nice guy, he just commits to his tricks and does his best

clip at the end reminds me of my dad & I. we used to butt heads & get into fights but always shared a love for music. after he passed, I learned a lot about his life & how I basically mirrored it without even knowing anything about his childhood. RIP pops.
