Casey A. No your not buying the name your buying the material, the material from Gucci is very expensive and strong the shirt will last for a long time, you got mixed up with Supreme and their cheap clothes material
ABC ABC HAHAHAHA I bought £5 shirt and it lasted only a month because the picture on the shirt started coming off and the shirt started changing colour it was horrible and FYI Gucci doesn’t sell £100 they sell £400 and up and it’s good material I’ve had a Gucci shirt for 6 months and it’s perfectly fine, still fits me and it’s as brand new better then any other cheap shit or expensive shit with disgusting clothes quality
It’s weird because Gucci has some of the most amazingly designed cloths that could be classified as works of art, but people wear the single color t-shirts and hoodies with one Gucci logo.
yea clearly cardi b's fiance's music group isn't good because they wear gucci... they're good because they wear versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace versace
walk it like i talk it walk it walk it like i talk it walk it like i talk it walk it walk it like i talk it walk it like i talk it walk it walk it like i talk it
I don’t like their simple stuff, like the shirts, flip flops etc. But their bags are rather nice and some of their dresses and such. But you don’t see hypebeasts wearing those, cause they usually don’t have a giant GUCCI logo on them
I actually just bought my first and only Gucci purchase - Gucci Ace Sneakers in White with Green/Red webbing (no embroidery). This is as far as I go with Gucci. It was the only white sneaker I like from many brands I've tried on. It's simple and I've always wanted a pair of white sneakers.

Friends: GUCCI GUCCI GUCCI!!!!1!!!! People on the internet: GUCCI GUCCI GUCCI!!!!1!!!! Game Developers: GUCCI GUCCI GUCCI!!!!1!!!! Rappers: GUCCI GUCCI GUCCI!!!!1!!!! Me: *help me lord*
I never really knew how expensive Gucci was before. I heard the name thrown around a lot, but I finally decided to look at their prices just of curiosity and holy sit. $400 for a tshirt. Even I was rich I couldn't bring myself to spend that much on t shirt or $200 for a pair of socks.
my two fav brands r Gucci and dior but when I buy their stuff I actually like the stuff that doesn't have huge logos on it if that makes sense, plus I buy my clothes from grailed so I can afford wut I buy.
You have to own Gucci to know why it cost so much. Most people think it's just like a plain old shirt or belt . When I first bought a Gucci belt I realized how thick the leather was .
let’s hope kim taehyung never finds this video.. edit: fgs why is everyone getting so freaking triggered, he’s well known in the kpop fandom as someone who wears a heck of a lot of gucci. if you look at the replies in the comments you’ll see i’ve told people not to point out army. stop getting so triggered, goddamn.
as someone who actually appreciates designer brands for what they are and not as flex pieces, I like this video. I think that rappers have made designers jump from high class clothing to everyday flex pieces, as they have the means to wear them all the time and of course their followers will, well, follow them.
The Gucci stuff that is more low-key is pretty nice. I have a couple of pairs of their trousers with subtle side-stripes and a pair of their gloves, but a lot of their range appeals to the nouveau riche set who would never look twice at understated brands like Berluti or Loro Piana.
Ben S how to wear gucci: For Fuccboy HYPBEASTS: The more stripes and GG it has better! My shoes must have stripes and snakes, my jeans guess what the same and my shirt too! Never forget the googles!, non tasteful outfits, the more green and red it has better it must stand out a lot, it must be stupid even for a fashion show, there isn’t such thing as too much flexing (aripetrou has some good cozy fits but some are too much) For "Hypebeasts” who actually like to dress well and not just flexing: The outfit may be all gucci but it will be low key no GG everywhere no snakes, and only one piece stands out in the fit. Shoes may have the stripe and graphics but the remaining of the fit is simple, tasteful outfits For people sho simply can buy some gucci: One gucci piece per fit, uses the non hyped up pieces, doesn’t own googles, tasteful outfits
The loafers are awesome and some RTW pieces, bags and accessories are great too. Not saying everything is worth the money (it definitely fucking isn't), but some of them was worth it - at least to me.
Majority of luxury brands were known for their quality and innovation, bringing something new and inspiring. now they're just "Here's a slightly better quality cotton t-shirt than the ones you get from target for $10 *slaps on Gucci label* now it's worth nearly $600 aud". I love Gucci aesthetic when it's the high-fashion and eccentric. The street wear is so plain and boring.
I hear people say this shit all the time, but I got 5-year old Paper, Denim, and Cloth jeans that still look pretty good and are not worn, and I once wore them every day. I got sleep shirts from Walmart from 6 years ago and the stitching has not popped even once, even after wearing them many times a month. The price and material thing is way overrated, and I just love how silly hypebeasts claim that cheaper -priced fashion won't last, but mine always does. What the hell are you people doing to only get a month out of your pieces? I'm not ashamed that I don't wear super expensive clothes.
Reminds me of the stories of the 80’s and 90’s where local tailors would make custom fake Gucci clothing and accessories so the people in lower class neighbourhoods could feel confident in their clothing Not unlike ethnic kids in the 90’s getting their grandmothers to make them fake adidas track pants and the like because the logo, pattern, or straight up just brand recognition is why this happened in the first place so they can feel good in wearing something that is seemingly unattainable
He's right the reason I love Italian Fashion is that its handmade and artistic. Not everything Gucci or Versace makes I like. Have your clothes be something that really says this is me and not something you're trying to be.
Spaßi did i ever say that nobody should wear gucci ? no i didnt. i just dont want that broke people (99% of the fuck boys running arround in gucci are) wear gucci :)
its just one of the many subsidiaries owned by the same company that makes the clothes you do wear. This one in particular(Kering) also owns YSL, Puma, and Volcom. So being less materialistic isn't making much of a difference by you not buying their high cost products
Armani is not played out at least not top teir Armani. Now the Armani exchange and emporio Armani second teir shit might be. We call that peasant Armani 😂
Antonio Bellamy I wouldn't call it ’second tier' they are just all different. Armani Exchange was a branch created in the 80s with a different aesthetic from Giorgio Armani. The same applies to Emporio Armani. Price differs based upon the materials used and the garment or item from each :)
J_1466 56789 yes it is. Armani exchange and emporio Armani is a dullusion line created or second teir line created by Armani. Some of this stuff start out expensive but after about a year is heavily discounted. Top teir Armani is never heavily discounted. All of it is made by Armani but all is not in the same class. Versace does the same thing with their versus line.
Antonio Bellamy Ok, no sense in arguing with you, as your mind won't be changed. I doesn't effect me if you continue to believe these simply incorrect things. Armani Exchange, Emporio Armani, Versus Versace, ect are simply not "low end" as they would only devalue the other brands thus not providing any benefit to the company as a whole! What your saying does not make sense! Each sub-brand are different aesthetics from the parent company and price differences can vary based upon types of materials used! But that does not mean that they are low end at all! Please comment when you have some knowledge and experience with the fashion Industry! And of course some stuff is discounted after a year in order to get rid of excess products from past seasons!!!! Like I said have knowledge and experience before commenting claiming your personal beliefs are gospel!
Totally agree! I personally love Gucci because of the designs and the quality of their products. And I cringe so fucking hard when people wear it just to flex, like people who really are just out of the demographic and can't actually afford it. Feel like hypebeasts and the streetwear scene is kind of ruining the ´´credibility´´of the high fashion brands If you will.... so I wouldn't say Gucci sucks, but the people wearing it just because they think the logo will get them clout suck... just my opinion
Yeah man you get it. But the Brand obviously jumps on the hype train and strays away from the classic menswear. (Not that they are to blame because who minds big sales?).
Nicholas Jupiter The only nice item from gucci are the horsebit loafers. They stand out but there isnt a brand logo/ stripes on it and they arent in your face- just a nice pair of shoes. + they have over 60 years of history :)
Dog Toy they’re older sneakers from 2/3 yrs ago are cool like those with tho gucci pattern in black and dark grey, no stripes no anything and the best is that u can only see the pattern if u try to
A Gucci T-Shirt costs $480. A Turnbull & Asser Button-Down Shirt costs $280 - $400. The Gucci T-Shirt is just for the season. The Turnbull & Asser Button-Down Shirt will last for decades. If the buttons wear out after 20 years, send it back for replacements.
My dad and I shared the same taste of fashion. My dad was a big fan of Gucci back in the 80s until his last day, he had a good looking pair of loafers and a watch (which are mine now lol) while I also have a belt and a wallet. Frankly speaking, I agree that the present day's hype of streetwear distorts the intrinsic value of Gucci as a luxury brand. I love Gucci and a decent luxury brand, not a phoney streetwear brand for flexing.
this is so true ugh the only reason so many people wear Gucci is to flex and it makes it so trashy and they don’t care about the fashion and just want people to know they had enough money to spend it on that,,, when there’s people like dear harry styles who wear suits worth much more than those slides and t shirts and doesn’t flex it in any way but it’s still low-key so stigmatized.... idk
i bought some gucci flip flops and they were the biggest waste of 210$ plus tax which came out to like 230+ I bought the white ones and they literally get dirty from wearing black socks because black socks aren't apparently clean enough even fresh out the washer
i always like gucci its my brand what can i say, its not flexing, is just i like the brand im not saying its not expensive, i dont like louis vuitton tho
@@bankrupsey The only joke here is the kid talking about expressing himself through fashion. And then bashes people for wearing clothes they like. If you wear something just because other people wear it then sure, but if you like something wear it.
The bottom line, if you work hard for your money and wanna treat yourself to Gucci cool, I do and I'm proud of it, I don't particularly like wearing what most other people do tbh.
