My Dad is a narcissist and he just doesn't believe he is, while he clearly is. He always needs to have the last word, always needs to be right, hates being challenged, doesn't believe friendships are real, loves pointing out when he's right in judging someone... which is another thing he loves. Laughs the loudest about his own jokes, never takes me seriously, knows 'the silent treatment' can be used as torture... yeah, the list goes on and on.

My partner is a narcissist and wish anyone would have educated me about mental conditions like these. The subject of mental health needs to be part of school curriculum, so the younger generation can be vigilant.

Their Narcissim alone can cause and create depression big time - it takes a little out of you and takes a lot to keep afloat-you constantly feel sunk. Sometimes pushing yourself to go for a walk or listening to birds chirping in nature or listening to happy songs that lift you or with an awesome beat or tune that gets you- like singing. Try to avert your mind talk so you can alleviate negative emotions -mind thinking is powerful -let it all go if ya can it's not easy but try let good stuff fill ya head and go with the flo -or as taylor sings -shake it off
