I like how you explained how a guy who's detached from himself ends up looking to women to validate him. It's true! I think we've all been there at some point. High quality women pursue a man who is selective with the kind of people he gives his time & attention to. It shows that he is self-sufficient & values himself. Men should be qualifying their romantic interest to (1. gauge the other person's level of interest and (2. to see if they have the qualities he's looking for. The problem a lot of men run into is learning the subtle art of qualifying & testing women without coming across like an arrogant a**hole.

After 34 years, I finally got a repectable answer! I thought the cliche, "she'll come around when you least expect it!" was hogwash but this explanation lends credence to it. Just be the person she was first attracted to by asking these questions. Great job!

Generally, I agree. On the other hand, I am finding that it's freeing to acknowledge my neediness. We are, after all,--all of us--needy creatures. To deny it is dishonest, and to suppress it is unhealthy; it can lead to addiction. But the point is what you do with it. I choose not to heap it on one person. Ideally, one ought to cultivate a large circle of female friends, so that if one of them decides she doesn't want to see you again, there are other options. The idea that there's "the one" out there is a self-defeating one. I only wish I had come that realization 20 years ago.

All they do is provide us with the options to choose indulgence with our animal impulses and reptilian brain or choose our human intelligence, empathy, and values. The later choice is rife with inconvenience and challenges so most choose the prior, then make excuses, complain, self rationalize their actions.

I agree with you when it comes to relationships. But I also see advice that if you feel like someone is your destiny you need to wait for her and not see other women because if you do the woman you really want will know you are with someone else and feel like you're somehow cheating on her.

We are not frequency and energy. That’s total bullshit. It’s simple. When you care too much, you communicate low value. On the other hand, Indifference communicates strength and high value. Women want to be with a man who has a HIGHER value then herself, so she can be led and her children can be protected and provided for. This is why a man of high value can get away with putting very little effort into a relationship and still have women obsessing over him. His energy is instead focused on achieving his goals and bettering himself. He treats women well but they are a compliment to his life, not the focus. This is still true in today’s society regardless of what socially acceptable way she chooses to live her life. It is a biological fact and has been programmed into the human brain by thousands of years of competition, death and natural selection. Women generally do not understand this and will tell you otherwise. Men, do not take relationship advice from women. Would you ask a deer how to hunt it? Harsh but true. Sorry.....
