This Is Why You Don't Build Bad Skateparks 

When local councils build a park with no skater input, they trying to do a good thing but it's so frustrating

Landon has a nice style. He's one of those lucky people who just looks so comfortable on a skateboard.

In high-school my friends and I put in tons of time and effort going to town hall meetings and doing fundraisers cuz we got the town to match whatever we raised to our in a much needed skatepark for our town. They then proceeded to put in a "big ramp" sized embankment, pyramid and quarter pipe all spaced about 80ft from each other. Then a flat ground rail 2ft off the ground. Was like they asked Matt Hoffman to design it. So disappointing to all the kids involved. Also made out of wood so it all rotted away. A bunch of wasted money

For a janky park this sure was a lot of fun to watch. Those guys make anything look good. A great mix of skills too.

Everyone was killing it. You made a sub-standard park look incredible.

Skatepark is built differently than the other skateparks and the setup of skating to making the trick of a great defense and control the board while getting into a good stance!

Oh this one of those metal parks yeah. I hate them a lot. I tried skating on the metal when it was raining and thought it was a good idea for powerslides across the box but I couldn't stop busting my ass lol.

Have you ever been to Soma Skate Plaza in SF? The group who built that (newline) is in charge of redesigning and rebuilding my 20+ y.o. local. Pretty hyped!!

I think I have the same wheels as Matt. Couldn't quite work out if the were gumballs or rockcandy's but they're either 83B (103A) or 84B (104A). the light blue cores suggest gumball so the softer of the two. Both are hard as nails and the fastest wheels I've ever ridden. Perfect for transition stuff but probably too hard for street.

Steel skateparks are the worse. Compared to concrete feel like I'm skating in Soviet union.

Manchester TN lmao better known at the bushing killer - bearing buster - no pebbles needed to superman across the the ground park of all damn time. angled to the side death rails " bro how much would a concreate truck cost " " why are the rails cracked all over - who welded this " rails and surface conditions so rough if you even think of doing a ollie you can razor tail in 30 mins and dont even think about speed in this park due to the fact it was designed to keep you from even skating at any speed but way too slow in this park lol its got a cool bowl and a some what ok super mellow 30 degree angle bowl area in it but the rest is a board and skater nightmare! the park in this video is a luxurious park compared to Manchester TN park period!
