In this video, I show you what it means if your Echo is showing a yellow ring of light. I'll also show you how to stop the Echo lighting up yellow in future, because it can be distracting.

like the features, setup was difficult for some of my devices (August Door lock, ru-vid.comUgkxhB5YOMNj04GuoAosExygP4cH-dKeb4aB Bose speaker)... but all switches and outlets (5), thermostat, tankless water heater. Unfortunately all I can do is turn on/off Bose. It doesn't support volume or changing channels, but I believe that is due to the particular speaker I have.... Worth getting if you already have other devices to use it with... I don't sit around and ask Alexa questions much so that doesn't really matter to me....

Hi Dave, I have numerous echos around the house. One of them is connected to a wifi extender as it is in the ‘man cave’. Is there a way that I can still connect all these speakers in 1 group for playing everywhere? Wifi extender has same password as regular router etc but when I try it says cannot add to group, any help appreciated

If the yellow light persists say “ALEXA, reset notifications”!!! This will delete all phantom notifications and get rid of that damn light! The “what are my notifications” function does not always clear the yellow light!

I got worried since along with the yellow ring, she wasn’t working right, by not answering my queries or cutting herself off while answering or playing a song. I just got my echo dot 3rd gen a couple weeks ago and thought something was wrong with the unit since she was online with my wi-fi. All is now well.

Good day! I bought ECHO DOT 3. When connected to a Wi-fi network, it writes an error "There was an error registering your device. Visit Help for troubleshooting tips." Rebooted the router, Echo Dot 3, reset to factory settings and the router and Echo Dot 3. Nothing helps. I suspect that the wi-fi block in Echo Dot 3 is not working. What can I pass?

Hi, out of context of this video question, My laptop is not taking graphics drivers , I tried everything, I don't have the recovery drives also, so the thing is that my friend has the same laptop as I have , I was thinking of making the recovery disk from his laptop and use it in mine , will that work?
