Vukes77 my problem with jord is that they are Chinese made, pieces of shit that aren’t accurate and and made cheaply and break easily. Very overpriced as well. Only worth 30. Priced at 500.

Georgy Zhukov well typically jord watches are quite fashionable. When speaking of watches barely anyone cares about how accurate the time is on them unless it is above a minute off. I see everyone saying seiko is better for the same price but that is easily a lie. Seiko watches may be more accurate but again nobody truly gives a fuck. Jord watches are more appealing, they look better. I’m a bit surprised seiko watches sell for as much as jord watches do.

This is insane I spent 45 minutes and the Jord Website yesterday checking out a watch I want for Christmas, and today my go to sleep technician, Is with Jord.... I’m really impressed they made a watch out of Wenge. It’s a super hard wood to work with, it is extremely porous and splinters easily, and yet it is also very hard for a palm and difficult to machine precisely as a result. That watch is beautiful though.

@@DrT_ASMR Just ordered four of them. Some people are sneaker heads. Some people are gun nuts. But I love watches and want to thank you for recommending them to me, as I've never seen wooden watches before. I'll check back after receiving them, but after this video, my expectations are high.

I bought one: broke. But the service was good and so I got a new one. That one started falling apart after just two weeks. But I didn’t want to send it back again, so this time I went to a professional watchmaker. He: (and I quote) „we are getting swamped with these cheap Chinese wood watches and I won’t go near it.“ Me: „that can’t be, I spent hundreds of bucks on this watch“ Him: „yes… a few hundred… do you know how much money these watches cost with the double spring-balance when they really work? At least 1.500 Bucks!!!“ They look great, they feel great and the marketing is world class. No one expects garbage at these prices. But they are truly worthless in any aspect. Nonetheless I love this video. As I said… the marketing is world class. 🙂👍🏻

Sponsoring the Doc is actually such a genius move on Jord's part. If you have a product with this much craftsmanship put into it, and that is this elegant, there is no better selling tool than finding someone who will admire and fondle the thing for a half hour at a time.
