I randomly looked you up after not watching your content for a while and I feel like this message was really needed for me right now. Thank you so much. I did my hard part in letting go of really close people who were no good for me and found myself completely alone (left boyfriend and girl friend group) in 2021. Since then I moved away from the town I grew up in and met my amazing boyfriend who is also my best friend but I have yet to find a girl group, or even a girl best friend who lives in my area. But like you, I want people who are adventurous and love trying new things and yes are into girls trips! But are also like minded, don’t like to gossip, and want to grow and be kind and better themselves constantly. This video made me realize although I’ve done a lot of self work to ensure I’m the type of person I want to attract, I don’t put myself out there or do enough adventurous things alone to attract that energy and those people, so this inspired me to do so! This really helps me because I'm in a really really toxic friend group right now, and I didn't realize how toxic it was until a few days ago. I realized that I haven't been happy with my social life, my friends ect. And I know how bad and toxic my friend group is but its really really really hard to let go. I've had this friend group for almost 5 years now and I'm so attached to all of them, and mostly my "best friend" (we're gonna call her Marie) Marie. I know that my friend group is toxic and I also know that Marie is toxic but I don't how and if I should even let go of them all and Marie. I really care about Marie even after all she's done to me. I'm not getting into details but long story short, our friendship is definitely not healthy. Instead of our friendship making me happy, it makes me sad. One of my other friends feel the same about Marie and honestly I had no idea if I should be their friend or not. But after seeing this video, I think i should let go of them. Edit: I just cried watching this video and I'm ready to let go of my friends

I just asked two different friends what I should do about a boy rather than asking myself if doing it was just me being nice or me shooting myself in the foot by continuing to try and control situations. After giving it and ending the day of finals I realized that I need to start focusing more on myself and my goals rather than just one person. I can’t want a person to enter my life and get to know me if I don’t know me nor have a good life to enter in the first place.

One of the most meaningful videos I've watched in a long time - and I watch a LOT of RU-vid videos. As someone who also was left friendless post break-up and hating her job at the time, I took this exact same route. Was left with nothing. Felt so lonely and depressed in 2018, and now I'm the happiest I've ever been after unabashedly living my life, cementing my sense of self, getting out of my comfort zone and going the extra mile to reach out to people who I aligned with. And out of the most unknowing, random encounters, I've made the closest friends and curated a life far better than I imagined!
