This wipe has consistently been a blast. Something I could previously not say about tarkov, it was absolutely amazing when it was good but it was also just about unenjoyable when it was bad. Now it is much more consistently enjoyable while still offering those stunning highs, just without the worst of the lows. At least I've not had one of those days yet this wipe.

I’ve only had one of those days, where every single raid went awful for 5 hours haha. But otherwise this wipe has been the best yet!

4070ti, 5800x, 32gb DDR4 3600MHZ RAM, XMP enabled, game installed on an m.2 and i struggle to even reach 70fps man.

Look up graphics settings for performance and don't play streets

I get 90fps on streets with a slightly worse cpu and gpu. I installed 64 gb of ram and it helped

Sell your 5800x and get a 5800x3D and youll see a major performance increase.

Correction : 50.BMG is actually extremely good with the new armor system. Most armors have T2 covering a lot of the thorax front, side, and back. 50.BMG goes through that and hits for a ton of damage. Also, easy to get early levels.

That sequence at Reserve dome is soo tactical love to see it. Playing Tarkov tactically has not felt so rewarding in this wipe

Learning the maps was probably the hardest part for me haha, but I can confidently say now I can go into raids and any maps and I know where the extracts are, at least most of them. But yeah offline + scav runs is the go to learn maps, identify landmarks and just keep doing it for a while, eventually you’ll know what’s what, enjoy bro!
