The Springs is more than a natural hot springs. Just 45 minutes from downtown Boise take the lovely drive past Lucky Peak Reservoir to Idaho City for a quick and relaxing escape from the buzz of Idaho’s capital. It’s just the right distance where you will feel far enough from town, without actually being that far away. Although The Springs is a natural hot springs it feels more like a spa. You don’t have to hike over rock and mud to get to this Idaho hot spring. With heated locker rooms, private tubs, messages, yoga, and poolside drink service, The Springs is less wild, yet still connects you with some good old vitamin nature.

The Springs limits the number of guests so that your soak is always relaxing and comfortable. Wednesdays-Fridays are reserved for only adults so if you want to get away from your kids and more importantly other peoples kids, you can. Reservations are required, book online or by phone.
The Springs now has a seven room hotel as well if you want to stay overnight and head back to town in the morning. Idaho City is a little town, but has some cool local restaurants, an ice cream parlor, and some fun Idaho history. The road from Boise to Idaho City makes for a great summer ride if you have a motorcycle, and a great day trip for everyone.
