@@Balt2512They show up for like 10 minutes out of the several hours of gameplay unlike The Squid Sisters and Off The Hook who got several games. What they had was nothing compared to the others. Additionally, Callie and Marie’s relationship was a central plot point to Splatoon 2’s story mode and Octo Expansion has Marina’s chat room. The most Deep Cut has had is 10 minutes of story mode screentime and the news which 98% of people skip. Yet despite that Nintendo expects them to have even have a chance in the unavoidable idol war. Sure…

@@SneakTheOctoi think they expected most of their development to be done through splatfests. It can be seen in their dialogue and chosen teams. Though it might not be to thorough i think it still gives them a lot of personality.

The team does likely care, it's just that Nintendo split the more veteran guys off to primarily work on Animal Crossing from what I understand (AC and Splatoon were from the same team). The younger guys aren't as experienced and couldn't keep up with the pace they intended. I bet you they care a ton, but unfortunately they do have to move on eventually, and they bit off more than they could chew.

@@gierasole to put it short, dlc, half made no story similar to splatoon 2 campaign, No flavour.if you can give me one example where they put depth to splatoon three then I will admit I’m wrong Three, events losing what makes them events: wow tricolour; still a 4v4 but just imbalanced Them doing a: guys! We will release it all in one update a month… and them still serving mid Tetris blocks, balance changes, that god damn dlc, I can go on. This isn’t even new what I am talking about. Ooh but the music hits a special place in my heart, please give me something else that makes this game worthwhile I wanna remember it in a good light

Also What Should've Done Is Being Back All The Story Modes From Past Games Giving Us Basically Every Story Mode Ever Created

I’ve been waiting for them to add a feature where you could save locker designs, I haven’t changed my comrade locker in a year and I’ve collected so much cute stuff since then to make a new locker theme but I don’t want to delete my comrade locker forever 😭😭😭
