I had the same thoughts as a kid when I told my father not to drink and drive while we were out on errands. He clarified that it was Coke or Dr Pepper, that he would never drink alcohol while driving. I was like, "Ohh, okay!" Growing up, my grandpa called me the boss, and every time-consuming someone said I was bossy. With the biggest grin and most innocent voice, I'd say. ​@@hunterv9259 I think it's kind of interesting how you could justify losing it with kids (exaggerated response and being mean to them) with this line of thinking in a lot of situations, because kids can put their parents in potentially dangerous situations a lot by just being kids. In this specific instance, I personally feel that it would be inappropriate to lose it because it's kind of easy to explain the truth - just show the cops that you don't grow a lot of weed in your backyard if they come to your place eventually. Ironically, you would solve this issue the best way possible just by being calm and reasonable, and nobody would think anything of you, but if you lost it, you could potentially reveal some negative side of you (depending on how bad of a response you had).

Yeah but the school and police aren't as "innocent" ... I had CPS on me for 6 months cause "Mom was a smoker" they taught my child that cigarettes were drugs. Screw the schools and the police. I dealt with CPS for over 6 months and had to fight them for over a damned year over a cigarette. All while a neighbor was literally NOT feeding their 2 girls for days at a time.
