Hello Christoph, I hope you and your family are doing well. When you're longline fishing, when the line is being hauled in use the stick in your hand to grab the fish off the line hooks. Aim for either the mouth of the fish or the hook, then grab the fish, I think by left clicking the mouse button. Sorry I'm not much help. I really enjoy your videos of Snowrunner, Ships at Sea and Beam NG when you played that as well. Thanks for the entertainment. May GOD BLESS you.

Thanks, I believe I had the stick in hand and tried clicking but I’ll try it out again at some point when my ship is faster.

CHRIS I LOVE THE VIDEO AND LIKE HOW REALISTIC THE GAME IS AND ALSO IF YOU FLIP THE SHIP YOUR NOT GOING TO BE OK BECAUSE YOUR GOING TO BE STRANDID

Maybe you've figured this out already but the name of the bait just describes the type of bait, the descriptions show what kind of fish you can use them for (for example, the herring bait you bought says best for catching halibut)
