The downstairs neighbors where I live had 3 ducks and everyday I used to call them and they came running...Very cute animals.

There is something so cute and sweet and hilarious when a duck runs! Even better, seeing ducks respond to love like cats or dogs just proves all animals are precious.

Who else didn’t want this to end? With the duck waddles the beautiful men the cheeky cats and the gorgeous gardens.

Oh men, such a cute ducks! And what a beautiful garden. It seems like heaven on earth. I wonder how old the ducks are now? I ask this because I too had a pet duck. In the year 1995 I found a duckling in an abandoned nest during a heavy thunderstorm at the moment that she was born. She lay there in her broken eggshell struggling against the cold rain. I couldn't see her suffer, I didn't want she would die from the cold. So - I picked her out the nest and took her with me. I gave her the necessary support, so she survived the ordeal. She became my best buddy and an amiable little critter, full of joy and naughtiness in the good sense! All the following years - every day without exception - we took care for her. Unfortunately she became ill. We did all we could to save her but her situation became hopeless. With much pain in our heart we had to put her down. She died in my arms on September 14, 2009 at 09:10 am local time. She became fourteen years - three months and twenty days old. She was the best thing that's ever happened to me. - I wish you both much luck with Lupo and Campbell ! That they may live a long and happy life together with you. Thanks for sharing! ❤🦆

We treat all our animals as intelligent, characterful beings. And so, each of our chickens has a name and some are very understanding and aware of their surroundings, events and us. Some are daydreamers, just as some human beings are. As soon as you start interacting with them individually, instead of as an anonymous flock, you see how special each one is. But yeah, some animals do understand you, know what you want, but still do what suits them most. Looking at you - our four cats 🐱

My Dad always told a story about a goose one of the old family members had, named Rocky. He said Rocky was like a guard dog, and would attack anyone who attempted to enter the garden where Rocky lived. He said if Rocky took a dislike to you, you were screwed. I can't see why they wouldn't be as intelligent as dogs. Only humans have these imaginary intelligence levels for other creatures, and I mean, how can we really know for sure?!

I had a rescue chicken growing up. She knew her name and would come when called. We kept her in a yard that was not fully fenced and she never ran away. A lot of people wouldn't think of ducks or chickens as pets but they absolutely can be. They get attached to you as much as you do to them.

Those ducks know they've got it good with their dads....they aren't going g anywhere.

Ducks are the happiest animals on a little farm! Ours are so funny too. Just hope a street dog or off leash doesn’t attack them on walks. So precious! ❤
