Costco (COST) just keeps plowing higher. It's been in a bull market for decades, albeit with periodic pullbacks. It was the great Charlie Munger's favorite stock. A "never sell" stock. It bottomed at 41.00 (from a 70.00 high) during the financial crises in 2008-2009. Today it's 915.00. The recent pullback from 900 to 795 just got gobbled up and now its breaking out to all time highs again. When a stock has such a lengthy uptrend I like to say that it's not going to stop going up just because you bought it. It might pullback but decades of trending up has demonstrated countless times that pullbacks will get bought. And yet again COST will make new highs. Thanks Charlie. You were an awesome individual. You may be gone but hardly forgotten as today's investors still benefit from your wisdom. 🎓 📈 💰 👑
I want to know how is SPY a cup and handle? It looks more like a double top. If you want to see a cup and handle a chart for Gold would show you it from 2010 to 2023. Also silver has a cup and handle from 1980 to 2023.
@@MatrixUncut the top part of it is what I call a “Double Top” This is a bearish sign. Most likely it will probably go sideways tomorrow or it just gets rejected. I don’t really see how much more stocks could go up in this economy. Maybe a little rally with fed rate cut but then again with people already expecting that it might not be much of a rally.
@@furbally6674 if you want to see a double bottom type in ticker symbol SPXU. This is a double top on SPY. I can’t really see the stock market going much higher with manufacturing, retail, transportation industry and banking sector in the mess that we have. Also unemployment has gone up a little. The only reason why the stock market could go higher is fed rate cut and it might not go that much higher.
