This is not how I would prepare my meatloaf either, but I applaud her for trying and showing other ways of how ppl make theirs, to be nasty and insulting does what? We all grew up differently and prepare differently and regardless if you would eat it ir not honestly you all don’t have to be negative, just share your ideas . It’s enough negativity in this world but to spend your time throwing negativity says what about you. Be better y’all 😊 and continue to bless others with your ideas.
Now that’s what I call a one pan dish! Also it’s big enough for a family and not made in a tiny loaf pan! Can’t wait to make this one! Thanks for sharing!
It never fails!!!!!!! Do people come to your house, sit at your table, and proceed to tell you how they'd cook what you fixed? Dont think so. A sweet little sentence of how good it looks, thanks for the recipe, just got married and needed a mealoaf recipe, etc. TY for the the recipe, looks awesome!😊
Some of these comments should have never been added ..I see why some people BLOCK COMMENTS! Say something nice or Keep it Moving! Spread Love ❤❤❤..She don't have over 375,000 views, likes and comments for nothing! Well done sweet lady and thank you for taking time out of Your Day to Share! God bless 🙏💘
I agree. That is my pet peeve when watching cooking videos. The idea of watching videos is to get ideas not criticize or make changes of someone's recipe. If one doesn't like or wants to change something, do it when THEY cook it ! 😆
No one has to read the nasty comments. What you want is to put words in others mouth and or take them out. This woman knows her dish she also know she can't control others. I'm going to try your meatloaf I love spicy❤
I apologize for the rude people. They think it makes them more intelligent by criticizing but it just makes them rude and stupid. You can’t fix stupid.
I love making a large meatloaf. What I do though is I use a good quality BBQ sauce instead of ketchup, & a good quality brown honey mustard, & I do NOT use dried onion or dried garlic. Only the real spices whenever possible. Try making your meatloaf with BBQ sauce. It's DELICIOUS DELICIOUS DELICIOUS
I make meatloaf a lot. The ingredients she uses looks good. I've used almost all of them. Only thing i do different is sautee my onions and garlic. With meatloaf being so thick your onions maynot cook all the way. This way nobody bits on a half cooked onion
This! My thoughts exactly. It looks scrumptious😋 however, sauteing the onions first is the only thing I would do that she didn't. It makes a huge difference, to me.
I've never heard of using milk in a meatloaf recipe, but everything else it similar to mine, except paprika and worstershire sauce. I will try this next time.
Wow, that's definitely different from my recipe. Mines a lot simpler, i like to add onion soup mix and shredded cheddar cheese in my meatloaf mix. I love garlic too, will add some to my recipe! Thanks for the heads up!
Omg… I’m gonna have to try that salsa and sweet baby Ray’s sauce thing. And cheese I’ve never added. Everybody’s got such a good comments. I need to take notes.
Have you ever considered using the dry mustard powder instead of just regular mustard. It has a little more twang to the flavor. You did a great job but I thought I would ask.
I use, garlic, onion, salt , pepper, Worcestershire, egg, milk, breadcrumb, dry mustard and I also add pecorino Romano grated cheese. Sometimes I chop up mushrooms in it. Makes it juicy and meatier.
I use it in my glaze too. I use the exact ingredients that she used for her glaze, but I use some SBR sauce instead of Worcestershire sauce in the glaze. So good.
There was a recipe called saucy little meatloaves that became popular in the 1960's?? I am 71 and always frost my mestloaf with ketchup, mustard and brown sugar. I just plop it on top then spread it around one less thing to wash,
I can tell that you loved doing that. Very relaxing video. I'm going to make it this week. I'm hoping it's going to be as good as you've made me believe it will be. I'm going to add a couple more ingredients. Thank you for your happy and great recipe
I like Worcestershire sauce too. I always use it in any recipe that calls for ground beef or mixed ground meats. Btw, you pronounced it correctly. You are the ONLY person I have ever heard who says it the right way.
I never cook beef without Worcestershire sauce but it must be Lea&Perrins ( brown paper wrapped around it). I lived in Worcester MA and have heard it pronounced in so many odd ways!
@@PK1982_ Wooster shire sauce is how we Brits say it. I know the spelling seems like it should be said differently, but wooster shire is how its pronounced here She pronounced it prettymuch perfectly..
Great idea! I love trying things different ways. Haven't tried the mustard, but I bet it would be yummy. I also like preparing it in the dish you are baking in! Less clean up, smart preparation! Thank you for sharing! 😊
Love your presentation! I read watch many many recipes, yet have never followed one exactly! You showed the basics but with a real time process of some of this , and some of that! That's just how I cook! Thanks so much! Living in the moment is what life is all about!
Fresh chopped parsley in mine. I like to add a little ground pork along with the ground beef for flavor. When I will bake my meatloaf, I will take it out of t🫶he pan it has been cooked in bc assuredly there will be fat drippings from the meat and transfer to a platter. I love using stale bread steeped in cold milk instead of bread crumbs. There must be a thousand ways to make meatloaf!
Thank you for sharing. I am very happy to see you mix it up with gloves. Those that stick their hands all over the food, patting and touching, just make me ill. I love a good meatloaf and this looks yummy. ❤
Love to see new ways to cook a traditional dish. Love that you cook with feelings no measurements 😂. My gramma did the same...she never measured but it was always delicious 😋
I’m so glad I ran across your video! I never would have thought to cook my meatloaf in a casserole pan. So much better loaf pans and less mess (bonus!). Thank you for your tips, so appreciated!
Looks absolutely scrumptious! I always sautee my onions first when putting them into a dish like this because it allows them more tenderness, and you're not biting into a crunchy half cooked onion. Definitely going to try this "one pan" meal!😋
You pretty much make your meatloaf like I do except I also use A1 steak sauce sometimes I use Lipton onion soup mix in it. I've also used sweet baby Ray's barbecue sauce in it too & green peppers just depends i make it couple different ways. Only thing I use different is Italian style bread crumbs and I add parsley and Mrs dash so many ways to make meatloaf. One thing I haven't tried is the brown sugar I'll definitely have to try that. Looks delicious are you by chance from up north?
Yeah mine is pretty much like this though since I bought a meatloaf pan that drains grease I wrap it in bacon then let it cook most the way then flip it on a parchment cookie sheet basting it with sweetbabyray, brown sugar, Dijon mustard mix so it finishes with a deep red Glaze. Gotta wrap it right though . Lotta effort but good. The meatloaf seasoning packets are good too with minced onion in that meatloaf pan its super easy and more firm. I go back and forth. Always fry a piece for leftovers w mash and good seedy bread. Mmmm comfort food
I definitely, like the ease of 1-dish preparation for the entire recipe. However, in addition to the onions (which is one of my favorite vegetables, I would have also included red, yellow and orange sweet peppers and green bell peppers for color and to enhance the mistress of the meatloaf. I also incorporate BBQ sauce and ketchup to my meatloaf mixture prior to cooking it. Your recipe looks very delicious. Thank you for sharing. Bon appetit. 👍🏻😊🙂🌞
How do you know it's amazing? She gave us no measurements, and as we say in the CARIBBEAN "THE TASTE OF THE PUDDING, IS IN THE EATING " I will have to taste that damn thing, before I give an oppinion. 😂😂
So nice to hear joy and happiness in your voice. U looked so happy to share ur recipe. Bet the meat loaf was delicious. Thanks for spreading joy along with a great recipe.
This looks so good! The only thing i would add is a little sweet pickle relish. That looks like 2 pounds of meat, so i'd put about a half cup of relish. I usually use a 2-1 ratio of hamburger and ground breakfast sausage in mine. I love different versions of meatloaf though. And it makes great sandwiches the next day! Thank you for sharing.
Thos looks so good. And i am used to mine. But dang im gonna try it. Enough spices to make any meat taste yummy. And garlic? No vampires after that one 😂❤ thanks im gonna try it.
In addition to looking easy and delicious, I like the way you did your video. Some videos I watch, blogger looks like they are making a movie or a mini series, yours was straightforward and to the point ❤❤❤ Great job!
Grate the onion instead of chopping.. It will keep the loaf tender and don't add Worcestershire sauce to the topping, you want your topping thick to hold better not watery.
The garlic (especially the amount she uses) will keep it tender as well. I use the worcestershire sauce on the top of mine as well; and I actually like the fact that it's a bit thinner especially than the ketchup or even gravy at times. Everyone's preference is different.
I am getting ready to make this, but I am not sure I have enough ground beef. How many lbs of ground beef did you use, I do not see it listed and I did not hear you say the amount of ground beef you used. Thank you.
Thanks for the recipe! I am going to tweak my meatloaf to add some of these ingredients. 😁 I mix and cook mine in the same pan too. I use an oven safe skillet but form the loaf in the middle so I can add seasoned carrots, potatoes, onions, etc., around the perimeter. Grilled vegetables and meatloaf all in the same pan!
Looks delicious..great idea putting into loaf casserole pan ,flattening out meatloaf, would cut baking time..pleasure to watch ,she has lovely hands, pretty manicure
My family loves meatloaf..so I decided to try your recipe.. they didn't like this version and my boys made me promise only to cook my meatloaf..lol I use my grandma's way..Thanks tho..
❤❤❤❤ i think it looks absolutely delicious and i am soooo going to try it ,i absolutely love trying and learning different things i am Not Stuck in a Rut 😂😂😂😂 thank you for sharing i love it ❤❤❤❤
This looks great and all in one pan. I thought my family were like the garlic champs but you do take the crown there. Thanks. Your recipe is in the on deck circle.
Good job!! I’ve never made mine in a large baking dish like the one you used but if you think about it- it’s logical and makes sense! Prep is crazy simple and clean-up is a breeze! Thanks for posting! 😊

Pretty much the Polish recipe for sznycle. We form sort of balls and rolling them in bread crumbs than fried them. They taste great with a mushroom sauce.
Because I love gravy with my meatloaf more than ketsup, I will most definitely have to try the mushroom sauce. Sounds AMAZING 🤤😁🤸♂️! Makes me want to try some today!
It is so close to my own family recipe that it's crazy! I can eat this all day! I love meatloaf, potato salad, tater tot casserole and macaroni and pasta salad recipes because you can make them a lot of different ways; you can just go crazy on creativity! ☺️💖
This looks good similar to the way i make mine except I add chopped red bell pepper and a small can of diced tomatoes and parmesean cheese. I do not add milk but use more ketchup to the mix. I used the Italian progresso bread crumbs and add my glaze minus the worchester sauce after the loaf has cooked 30 minutes. Taste great too.
I put diced celery, bell peppers & minced onions in mine. I also put the glaze on only half of the meatloaf because my hubby likes the glaze & I do not.
This is how I fix mine except I do dirty up a bowl for mixing. I usually just use ketchup but, I'm definitely going to use your glaze and I'll try and not dirty up additional dishes 😁
I recently read that the chefs for the Royal Family are instructed to NEVER use garlic or onions to their formal meals. This recipe would not make the cut! Lol
I am on long, grueling chemotherapy treatments so, quick and fairly easy recipes like this are (to me) a Godsend! It looks delicious and I'm so anxious to try it! Thanks for your easy-to-follow instructions.
I feel about onions the way you do about garlic, lol, but I use Vidalia's and always caramelize them first and add onion powder too. Love this, subbed and now I want meatloaf!
I am so open to new ideas now I've always made my meatloaf like a hill I guess that's the best way to say it. This casserole dish is a new take on. Your ingredients right point.
