One big thing people forget about firefly vs boothill is that firefly also supports her team. Lingsha and upcoming fugue are both fire and firefly implanting helps them break while boothill gets no other physical teammates
Honestly tired of this favoritism towards FF. Like why would they add an ornament that gives you speed and more BE than talia only for fire weakness where FF can use this all the time. Lingha and Fugue are fire type too like, can we get something else? Not even Acheron or Fexiao got that treatment
Yunli gains a massive advantage over Acheron due to how many attacks Hoolay and his ads do. Yunli's struggles more against the ape and the shadow against the first wave due to them stalling 2 turns.
Not only is he physical weak, and attacks so many times for Yunli counters _(he's essentially made for Yunli)_ but he also has 20% Lightning Resistance. One of the trio isn't Lightning weak too, which is a big issue if you can't break that third unit, because without breaking them they take a lot longer than they should. Yunli would have been top of this list if not for the first wave of the second node; two elite enemies without physical weakness. She looses a lot of time on that first wave, but destroys Hoolay.
I got 4 cycle with RatioE0s0/TopazE0s0/RobinE0s1/AventurineE0s1 I deal way more damage with Pela than Topaz even considering Topaz damage because Ratio is stronger than Topaz and also buffs a ton Aventurine, Robin's damage but winning everytime Against Hoolay challenge of who is faster with Topaz give better overall damage because he's mostly the time broken.
"they don’t have lightning weakness" Two puppets have lightning weakness. Not to mention Gal and Jiaoqiu are fire so they can break the last one. Not to mention that the puppets are 3 enemies so they are the best boss for Acheron since she does more dmg to shared hp bosses. Cmon pokke lmao
You don't need that specific team. She works really well with Yunli too, who was also high up on the list, especially in this MoC, as Yunli is incredible against Hoolay, but as the first wave has two fire weak enemies that aren't physical weak, she helps carry Yunli through that wave.
Well, strangely Bailu is a really good healer for figthing Hoolay because of her ultimate, he has no debuff that needs to be cleased, when he starts spamming in the rage state you can heal it with her Ult buff and if he uses his ultimate and kill someone she just says that did not happen.
Natasha too and can break him. She have the lowest cost to ult and Hoolay gives a lot of energy for the team. I tought that was going to be RNG seeing a Four Star run with Natasha against Hoolay, but it was pretty good, She was like a Preservation unit against this guy, only 1 or 2 times the life of the units become Red.

Pretty simple. Bailu is one of the best sustains against Hoolay. No CC/DoT to worry about means cleanse loses it's value, so a character who is remarkably good at sustaining against brute force is going to do well. Bailu's low rating has always been about cleanse, never about sustain.
@@shadow-faye Turns out invigoration is pretty good buff against dude with hundreds of speed that just keeps attacking your units again and again before you even have a chance to respond. Plus she can save a run in case of unlucky rng. Her niche was getting absolutely pummeled but lack of cleanse was a no go in most scenarios.

After seeing so many funny debate of why lingsha is higher than firefly. Firefly team with Lingsha clear faster than with gallagher. Hence if we take average, FF will ofc be behind lingsha as galla team drag her down
Gallagher team doesn't drag her down though? I clear 0 cycles with Gallagher, Luocha, whatever sustain or no sustain I wanna run. If the content is made for FF, she will 0 cycle it with no problems. If anything Gall is probably better with E0 Firefly considering she is VERY SP unfriendly before E1.
@@ladyhdwastakengallagher teams will clear slower than lingsha teams as lingsha deals more dmg and is better than gallagher. both teams clear fast but lingsha with ff is faster so the gallagher teams will drag down the ovr score.
Honestly, the only thing I'm curious about is which current meta DPS will survive the 3.X meta shifts, since we all know that to sell new characters, they need to make the new units and archetypes better than the previous ones.
That would depend alot on what archetype they will focus,but of the ones we have right now,i would say all 3 (acheron,FF,FX,) should survive with not much issues

Himeko hyper side 1 is actually pretty nuts. You can stagger break vs toughness then exotoughness for back to back to back to back etc. FUA from Himeko. edit: but of course can do the same with break Himi
Eidolons helping supports and especially Bronya makes sense. The general strategy for budget vertical investment is S1 DPS and E1 supports. I noticed Himeko also improved by quite a lot. The E0 standard characters are a very skewed sample in general. As a monthly pass player since release, I don't have a standard 5* that's still E0 anymore. Strictly E0 5* standards are likely newer players with less invested accounts that don't have alternatives and will clear slower on average.

Acheron with jiaoqiu still perfectly fine especially with signature lightcone . You guys act like having to pull for a sig is insane as if she isnt about to have her 2nd rerun in 3 weeks .. If you expect a dps to be futureproof at E0S0 then you shouldnt play gacha games . Obviously theres gonna be some powercreep in the future , thats why eidolons and sig lightcones are for.. to keep your character relative futureproof ..i dont even own Acheron but im not delusional to call her bad . No… eidolons are not future-proofing. You need more units at E1-E2 to be future proof. I say this as an E6 Blade-haver. He sucks so bad in this MOC, definitely not future proof even at full eidolons, maybe when the tide shifts again but who knows when that is (the best I did vs Hoolay is 4cycles) Edit: just to clarify, I meant you need plenty (as in several) units at E1-E2 to be “future-proof”, getting eidolons or e6-ing for less characters does nothing

Ngl I actually used Acheron in the first half and Firefly Super Break in the second half bcs my Topaz wasn't built at the time since I had just recently pulled her. And also no Aventurine so everyone died really quickly from Hoolay's infinite turns.

I have similar problem I have the Firefly superbreak team which I always run on one half I don't own any of the other current meta characters (No Topaz, No Feixiao, No Adventurine, No Acheron etc.) I invested into DoT as my second team (I have Black Swan and Kafka) but it is rough at the moment I hope another unit comes out to give this archetype a buff soon.

Boothill's average cycle is worse because he is getting pushed down for his first side team. If you are using Ruan Mei on second side with him you are making your first team worse without using break. The first half heavily favors breaking enemies. Someone else explained it. Its called opportunity cost. People be looking at MoC data without even knowing how its actually collected Except that Boothill is much stronger against Hoolay and its not even close. We have yet to so Firefly's true strength, puppet boss isnt sticking in MoC forever
That's the main point of endgame, to punish skipping banners and induce FOMO in players so they pull. HSR is a gacha game, that's just the way the cookie crumbles.
This Acheron hate train is insane man. It feels like we’re playing different games, but I genuinely don’t understand what y’all talking about Before anything, my Acheron is E1S1, and if you all are talking about strictly E0S0, maybe she’s not that impressive anymore. However, even when I changed her LC to a 4*, she 1 cycled Kafka last MOC (40% electro res btw), this cycle with my current setup she 2 cycled Hoolay and she easily 1 cycles first half. And her E1 is not anything crazy either, the difference between E0S1 and E1S1 is nothing to write homes about. I would turn it off just for people who thinks it changes results drastically, but Hoyo don’t let us do it, it is what it is She needs investment and that’s true, but if AOE character 2 cycling the tankiest ST DPS check in the game without electro weakness is what you all call “fell off”, then there is nothing to worry about and all this powercreep discussions are just meaningless Also, a hot take, but pull LC for your DPS characters, it’s worth it (if their E1 is not better of course)
You're running s1 Jiaoqiu, e1s1 Acheron with ridiculous relics on her and then being suprised that she isn't that bad. Your pfp is literally Acheron, your opinion of her is obviously going to be skewed. She barely managed to 2 cycle Hoolay and it would have been 3 if it wasn't for all of the extra investment. Aventurine helped her a lot too, so that isn't just Acheron. The Kafka MoC is one of the easiest sides we have ever seen, 1 cycling isn't a good thing for a "T0" character.

Talking about my PFP is funny, becuase she’s not even my favorite character, Sam and Screwllum are. That was the coolest picture I had on my PC and I chose it Also, are you on of those who are brainwashed by 0 cyclers? Because 1 cycling MOC with mechanics made against you (electro res) and only 1 signature support is absolutely top tier worthy. 2 cycling Hoolay is amazing too, and while I agree Aventurine helped a lot, he’s also used in Feixiao team and helps the same way. I can’t even make the full use of MOC buff this time and she consistently clears him in 2 cycles. I tried it many times, same result. Call it however you want, it’s not what “fell off” means. JY or Blade with the same investment struggling to clear is what fell off means. Invest into your characters

Not going to lie ever since I lost my 50/50 on the Feixiao banner I've been using my Blade and it doesn't take me 8 cycles to clear... I don't know maybe it's because I have Clara's sig LC on him because I don't have his LC, but it doesn't take me 8 cycles to clear that's for sure
Exo-toughness give people hard-Time So i m not suprised. Most of Units stay ussless, when it comes for power. Idelons supports this time , won this match and Original LC cards, which include of power units too. Well only Hoolay monster. The rest takes not bad.
I think lingsha is higher not because of firefly, the difference between an E6 Gallaghar and E0 Lingsha is not that big. I believe Lingsha high clear time is because people slotted her into the FUA team aka the fastest clearing team this moc, hence boosting Lingsha's clear time.

In DoT's defence, current moc 12 is one of, if not the worst moc possible for them. The moc buff might as well not even exist and both sides have bad bosses for them. Hooley is too fast so you can never stack debuffs and the musician trio is heavily geared towards breaking all 3, which DoT cant do.

Surely it shouldn't be that bad for a unit that benefits from a boss that spreads their HP into several enemies and would allegedly age like wine due to her Elemental shred... or so I heard when she released. Now, everytime a floor isn't catered to lightning the excuses come up.

Tbh, i don't really think Acheron is t0 anymore maybe t0.5 at max. Ever since her introduction, hp inflation has risen alot to the point where damage per screenshots is less reliable
Reason why Seela is not performing so good in this metric is because most of western community have been influenzed into beliving she is trash and the worst unit in the game. Cn community dont have thet bias, and she is outperforming acheron there.
I started playing during FF's banner and pivoted to Ruan Mei and ran out of time to farm Firefly...I've regretted not doing more since...it's REALLY going to sting if when FF's rerun comes around if she's bumped down signifcantly....I don't expect her to never be powercrept, just want to experience a small portion of what it appears everyone else has since her last banner.
i’m a 1.0 player but i took a break during 1.6 so i had to prioritize getting ruan mei during her 2.3 rerun and hence didn’t have enough for firefly too. i want to pull on her rerun but i’m afraid that break meta won’t be as relevant in 3.0 onwards so idk if it’s even worth it at that point. i wish i just got her during her original banner and experienced her at her peak
