I recognized one of the leads from the Hallmark Cinematic Universe and that threw me off the first time I watched it. I've heard a lot about Christine & the Queens and I regret not listening to him before this - a gorgeous voice.

Love it. Will be checking out more of this artist. Don't say that about everyone you cover, that's for sure. lol 😬 I think most of the time we are just hearing about someone's infatuation when we are hearing about someone's "love." That's why people don't care to hear it. Underneath, we can sort of sense the lack and their belief or hope that someone is "completing them." When people are in love, you can tell. That's a very abundant vibration that's contagious.

This is the first song from MGMT I've heard since Electruc Feel was big and it's extremely good for something with such a hardcore 80's vibe. Chris is amazing on this song as always, he keeps getting better and better.

Yikes! Where do you live? We don’t even get snow here (SoCal), though it does snow up in the mountains, which is a minimum two hour drive. We’ve only had rain, combined with high tides and a few rogue waves. I can’t imagine chiseling my car out of an ice block. 🥶

He he, Sweden, so quite a bit farther north than SoCal, yeah 🙂 It's so annoying, you have to plan to go outside at least half an hour earlier than you're to be off, so you have time to let the car heat up, and scrape off all the ice, which sometimes is stuck on there pretty hard. You're frozen half to death before you even drive out of the parking lot 😀

I don’t like heat , either. We’re coastal, so it’s usually 20-21C here. It can get up to over 30C in the summer, but not usually. At least, when it’s cold, you can add layers of clothing. I used to live on a gulf coast that got disgustingly hot and humid in the summer. I stayed inside with the air conditioners set to 16C. Maria, you don’t have a garage for your car, or does it get trapped in ice when you’re not at home?

Cannot say this song moves me in any way at all, However! their song "Nothing to declare" is Awesome.. the girl in the vid is Amazing "if that was not some editing trickery" I feel the lyrics, music fit the vid to a T... this one eh Meh... but those are only my feelings.. Each to their own :) Thanks for sharing their Music as i would have never got listen to their other works...

I don't know what to make of this... I'll have to listen to it a few more times. I've just watched Streaming of a White Christmas...an absolutely stunning show, tiny mistakes made, but all the better for those mistakes.. Unbelievable that you hadn't played together for 8 months, blew me away... Sorry , I digress, but it made me happy watching your DVD, hope you enjoyed your run in the beautiful forest

Hope that run was good. When I take breaks, those first few back can be rough. I’m going running also after this. I don’t have a fancy tracksuit or a forest to run through though. 🥸 I spent some time up in the mountains a few months ago and had some truly lovely runs. It was so quiet and peaceful. I’d love to live in an area like that.

@@MariaFrancesca I’d say if you can start again now then give it a go. I hate the cold (used to love it) but there is something refreshing about running/exercising out there when it’s winter.

@@sah-win Yeah, when I was younger, the winters didn't stop me. These days my arthritis gets worse with the cold, so I get lazy. But in reality, more movement helps, in the long run, even if there is more pain at first. I've found it helps to run in these forests because there is so much moss, the ground is bouncy, and it's so much softer on your knees 🙂 I can't run on asphalt anymore, at all.

@@sah-win Yeah, it's easy to get stuck in these bad circles. That's the best, really, with exercising in the woods - nature! Early in the morning, mist hanging over the hills and the peat bogs, the sun rising over the lake, a cacophony of birds and the occasional deer... 🙂It's the best, both for your body and your mind. I miss that 🙂

5:29 Dancers backlit from sunlight streaming through the windows in a warehouse reminds me of the film “White Nights” (Gregory Hines & Mikhail Baryshnikov). The bow is the front of the boat. The back is the stern. You could have had some fun with that word. 😂 Yes, there’s a bit of Cyndi Lauper. Not my cuppa, again. 🎶 I don’t trust people who say “I love you,” when they barely know you. It’s lost its meaning due to its misuse/overuse lately.

My dream is to take the necessary voice and guitar lessons to pull this off. This is for my own birthday party in June. The set starts with "Rock of Ages" where it all begins with me stating "I've got something to say!!" instead of conjugating the old English verb of "oben". Next comes "Standing on Top of the World" by Van Halen. And then "Life is a highway" which I don't even know who recorded it first. Then "Heavey Metal" by Sammy Hagar. Then I sing the "If It Makes You Happy" song by Sheryl Crow but I changed all the words to be political and stressing that if Trump made us happy, he can't be that bad. And the lyrics contain many of his key accomplishments as president. Then I guess I will end the set with Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way". Now, before the final song, I am open to any suggestions you might have of feel good songs.
