Bad ass old Cab-over my dad had one in the 80s my best childhood memories is going on the road with him, when i got older he would pay me to sweep the containers and let down landing gear.
Ya we're all a little nuts...a 3406B Cat has literally a throttle in the floor on the left, it's threaded, it's dangerous as hell but you can spin it and set the throttle and use it as a cruise control...but touch the brakes and it doesn't cut it off....you better be ready, you have to thread it back down to stop it. Had one. Done that. It's obvious with a cabover,, but it's pre '94, in 94 it went 3406E, for "electronic" with normal cruise control like a car, had that one too.
@@throttlewatch4614 yep haha. Ain't no time for sleeping when you're an Owner/Op, I don't miss that at all.. just the money. 93 397 until I got the 94 379.
Narration is perfect! Change nothing, you're doing a great job, having fun while educating us all, who know nothing about big engines. At the end, we always learn something! Thank you for sharing! Take care.
I like when you explain what’s happening when your done cause I feel like you guys talk more in depth about what your doing and give more details which I personally prefer cause I like to know what’s going on and learn too
I'm sure it also makes doing the job a whole lot faster and easier. Too bad I didn't know you were going to the middle of no where, that excavator was less than 5 miles from my house.
I have to agree with the others. With this format we actually see & understand more of what you're doing. I do drive a truck myself, & I've lived on a farm a big share of my little over half a century on this earth, so I've seen some of the things you are doing on the engines in the field, but watching you rescue these old abandoned machines is awesome. Makes you wonder why they were abandoned in the first place. Love the new format.
The way you guys create content is awesome. The way you transition from one subject to another and back is geniusly creative and great to watch. It's adds immensely to an already epic vid to watch. I originally thought I wouldn't watch these RU-vid vids as much as diesel brothers but even though I loved diesel brothers I havnt missed it watching these vids on RU-vid. Your vids have kept me going through really bad times. Thanks guys and keep the content coming.
It’s a slippery slope before you’re then back at diesel brothers the tv show which already exists and is terrible . His RU-vid started blowing up because outside of the show it turned out he wasn’t a douchebag and did cool stuff
You guys are great! Taking all that hay to the rancher was truly an act of love! That was an awesome episode!! Love you’all, the trucks, all the good you do, and all the fun you have doing it… just helping people in need at your own expense, and rescuing old and abandoned equipment! The Lord and the world smiles on you. Praises and blessings coming your way.
Words cannot describe how much these videos mean to me. Your people and content do a lot more for some people like me than just entertain. ❤️ these recovery videos are definitely my favourite. I look forward to part 2!
This looks like it would be such a fun time hanging out with your buddies just trying to start an old machine that hasn’t started in a long time. I was cheering with you guys when the old girl fired up. As a heavy equipment mechanic I have enjoyed these videos👍🏽
I enjoy this format as well because you can get into the emotions after the fact. But real time descriptions are helpful too. Either way, you guys rock.
💪💯💪The thing I love most about watching your channel is that I know that you're a millionaire and you don't have to work as hard as you do you choose to but you go out there and work till your hands bleed just like I do your a go-getter you're a hard-working country boy and you produce amazing content keep up the good work Heavy D love the channel and the content!!
11:55-13:15 Epic Moments! Two big rigs cruisin through the outland framed by a beautiful song. Gives me goosebumps. Watched this episode for several times now...😎 Hail to Heavy D and bis fellows! Love the Scene when the two rigs reach the hill with the old equipment. EPIC!
11:54 - Rain Jewels - Wild Life. Killer track perfect for this great video. This is truly the new Top Gear for USA. This video series is on another level. All the characters beat out old BBC Top Gear. Keep up with the great content! I now have a reason to visit Utah!
The effort you guys put into getting this old equipment running is amazing, the format in which this one done was educational, gives people more detailed information on things to try if they are in the same position.
I love how the owner was talkin about that deutz engine like it was a massive powerhouse, you can do more on those engines with a adjustable wrench then probably any other
I like how Sparks calls everyone his friends and plugs there page . That’s pretty cool I’ll bet he has the ability to get people to do things for him they weren’t planning on helping until they met him haha
So glad to see your newest vlog. I've been concerned about y'all for several reasons and especially the weather. So good to see you back. The last 10 years have been pretty rough in my neighborhood and looking forward to your videos keeps me going along with those from Jax. Please be well get some rest you got a whole year to play! Sure wish I was one of the fans that is or was going up to the cabin. God bless you all family friends fans critters - you're always in my prayers and I love you all.
Grew up in meadow. Spent many hours at the hot pots. My best friend drown and died in Dec 2018 doing a deep dive. Our friends who we have known since grade school who now work for millard county sheriff and search and rescue, had the miserable task of diving in to retrieve his body. He was lodged under the limestone shelf that extends toward the middle of the pool. Many of my family was baptized in the pool. My mother being one. I don't go there anymore since my friends passing.
I always doubled the voltage for trying to crank a seized engine. As you know, starters are happy with double the voltage - everything else not so much. lol. But I have freed up a lot of seriously seized engines doing much the same as you guys, but also doubling the voltage to the starter. Just don't be shy when hooking up
Your "tv showish" narratives are also very entertaining. So far everything you've been doing is entertaining. Hell, I even watch your personalized advertisements without skipping ahead, which I usually do on other videos. Note to potential sponsors: have these guys do the advertisements.
The old aircooled case motors is/was a brilliant motor. I really enjoy the recovery videos. Heavy D why not have a competition where a lucky viewer can spend a day with you and the crew
When it comes to freeing up an engine no matter if it's diesel or gas always put transmission fluid in around the cylinders it works really really well way better than PB Blaster or WD-40 because transmission fluid is not only very acidic and eats rust like crazy along with burnt oil and Grease but also a great lubricant which helps free the rings and cylinders faster and safer
the aircooled deutz engines are awesome you can change every cylinder independent but when the cooling fins fill up with dirt and other shit they get to hot and lock up but if you just give it a little bit of maintenance after work they work forever
@@801MOTO3 The upload takes a while to render at higher res. If they publish as soon as they upload, early viewers will see video only rendered at low res
Guys im sorry I was so stoned I just went to Amazon and typed truckers magic leave in conditioner and bought the first thing that popped up and came back to the video. Upon closer inspection I see that it's instead redkin one leave in conditioner. I really fucked up on this one. Time to lay down the weed pipe 🤣
That guy with the pretty pretty hair bun looks really pretty. You know what would look great with that pretty pretty hair bun? Some bright red lipstick, red pumps, and a nice corset!
I like how you guys explain what you're doing and how you're doing it I love having a lot of information about how to do things like what knowledge is power
