Yep, me too. My nose burns before any other part of my body, so I have to slather-on lots of sunscreen, and even then if my ride is over three hours then I can still get a bit red. Definitely a concern for someone who is at risk for skin cancer anyway. Too bad the nose cover is so ugly.
It's ugly for sure, but perhaps less ugly than having skin cancers cut out of your nose & the subsequent skin grafts that can never quite match in skin tone 🤷♂ I am sure they can come up with something less offensive though 🤣
Yes! these nose sunblockers have been available for years. What price 'Kool'? I've had basal cell carcinomas removed from my nose. It is uncomfortably painful and leaves 'character' scars. More importantly, skin cancer can be fatal. Now days I ride around with zinc cream sunblock, looking like a Bondi Lifeguard. The Aero Guard looks less messy.
I'm surprised that talk systems are not more popular with bicyclists. It's a huge market for motorcyclists with multiple companies getting on board with different hands free products.
I remember a video from a couple years ago when a swiss side engineer was interviewed by a german triathlon channel (i do not remember the name though) and he said that they had aero tested different wheel/tire-combos and the continental GP tread pattern seemed to be the most aero - by accident. Apparently they have teamed up now!😂
I like this guy, seems like the most honest or at least the least “full on shill mode” like everyone else. Yeah not all new products are improvements, just like w the new madone and a bunch of other frames we’ve basically peaked in tech 2yrs ago and everything else today is just a money grab
Wow! I haven't seen this stuff anywhere else! Continental Aero 111 tires ??? Would love to hear more. Automated in-situ chain waxer???? I'll have two please 🙂
Please take care of the spambots in the comments. They are going to get annoying fast. Glasses tech! One of the most underrated pieces of cycling gear since it is applied directly to our faces rather than to a bike setup. Love watching out for them. In addition to that Black Inc bar on the Wilier it could also be a nod to the custom paint(?) job used and options people when speccing out their bike, it goes beyond the other levels of speccing out that we see in the peloton.
