I know the soda isn't the best but often times when people have addictions, they have to fix their addiction by moving it to something else. Mnt Dew is bad but its better than the hard drugs he was doing. Hopefully he can soon switch that drink to a more healthy one.

I used to drink three to four cans of soda a day when I got out of college. then decided to give up soda for lent and learned to drink more water. Before I felt like I needed something sweet with my meals, but water works just as fine! Now im down to about one can every other day but at least its the zero sugar stuff.

The part where Graham talks about blowing promotion money. That is LITERALLY a tradition in the US Navy called a wetting down where you throw a party for your friends and spend the difference between your previous and current paycheck for the month. This is usually a $1000 difference for promotion.

Just so you know, cats sleep alot when they are older because they are bored. However, kittens that play alot when they are little (either with litter mates or with the owner) will remain playful throughout their life and sleep much less. Play with your cats people

The soda addiction is vicious, im in the same boat as this guy, two a day, ive gotten down to one a day but its so easy to go right back. Once you get here its awful trying to get back down. I had an easier time quitting cigarettes than i am trying to quit or even cut back pepsi.

As I'm approaching 40 I'm detoxing myself after the excess of my childhood and youth. Part of that process is cutting down/out sugar filled soft drinks. That stuff is basically poison, full of sugar and chemicals.

Two mountain dews is bad but its not as bad as it could be. My mom would sometimes drink three to four a day if not more. It was so bad she would get caffeine withdrawals and headaches if she did not have one.

Yeah I know people who drink a 2liter (and more) a day. And for this guy, if the alternative is hard drugs, I say drink that Dew. Just brush your teeth and get some exercise to minimize the negative impacts.

This is just about Graham's comment about going to the gym. For me, as much as I like going to the gym, it never wakes me up. If I'm already in a more awake state, then I'll work harder, but if I'm tired to the point where it's hard for me to stay awake, the gym NEVER wakes me up. It makes me even more tired, and honestly, I'm not sure how to fix it.

I used to feel the same way! I do not know the details behind how you normally exercise, but for me, it was all about pushing through until I hit a certain threshold. For example, I used to hate going on the treadmill every morning as I was tired from my normal day activities, let alone additional work such as energizing. Over time, I started seeing a correlation in how long I workout, to hitting what I call the flow state. When I first start I hate it. But After hitting the 20 minute mark, something clicks out of no where and I start to tolerate it. 30 minutes in, I start to not mind it and enjoy the adrenaline rush. So maybe force your body to acclimate to working out and tell yourself if you still wanna get off when you hit that time (for me 20 min) then I will. Bust most of the time even on my worst days, by the time that time hits I rarely feel the same wanting to get off as I did at the beginning of the exercise. Hope that helps!

Every single person who comes in has student debt and he gives them 0 advise as to how easy and low the payment plans are. You just have to call the gov, he doesn't give that valuable info and then people fall prey to these skams that sign people up for the programs but add a bunch of fees.

Other people are willing to put in a few years of hard work, and free themselves of student loans, so that they can build up an amazing life for themselves and their children
