I work in housekeeping with single mothers that have new hairdos and fresh manicures every other week. We all make less than 20k. People just want to live it up I guess… I just made peace with the fact that I can’t afford to start a family.

Here's the thing. Yes financial literacy should be taught everywhere, but there is also a common sense aspect to this girl's problem. Something doesn't add up if you're taking out Payday loan after Payday loan on a $80,000 paycheck. No budget of financial literacy class should teach you not to take out 20 different loans AND go to expensive concerts. If you and I don't need $1200 a week in food, why does a baby need that? Everything she does is against common sense and shows lack of care for money.

This is why I have difficult finding empathy for people like her with student loans. I worked my ass off to save up, live within my means, and get every scholarship possible to cover all $240k tuition without taking a cent from my parents. It really irritates me that I'm subsidizing her going to Drake concerts while I work extra hours

I genuinely need my student loans- but I’m a full time student, an intern, and I work almost full time. I don’t go out unless someone is inviting me and usually pays for most of it or it’s a gift. I do struggle with paying my schooling- and I’m not like this at all. There are for sure people like her but there are also people like me.

@@ChristianSedaPlays he said he got scholarships which most likely paid for a majority of it. Even if he did earn 240k that didn't come in one year. That would be like 60k a year if he was going for a bachelor's degree which is possible but would be very hard on top of going to school.

Omg! Well, getting her hair done with extensions like that costs about $300. This girl wants to spend. She thinks the more she spends the better her life is. To me that’s backwards, the more you keep the better your life is. If she doesn’t get herself under control she’s eventually going to get in such a hole that she’s doing some real crazy stuff for money, like taking out credit cards in her child’s name.

I had a payday loan years ago when I was young. I had moved to go to college and My mother helped me to get out of it. I was so glad that happened. I learned from it. That is why these predatory loans are banned in some states.

Graham - Mint is shutting down early 2024... probably best to stop pushing it. I started testing out Rocket and Monarch. But you should have a video on apps to manage finances, net worth, investments etc.

I would like to point out check engine lights are seldom faulty and should be addressed anytime they are illuminated. I personally never let one stay illuminated over a day or two without getting the code scanned. I would also point out that i do my own mechanical work and taking my cars to a mechanic would be prohibitively expensive.

That’s true. But it just depends on the code. A lot of dodges get check engine lights for an evap leak, which isn’t really a big deal (as far as performance wise), but the light needs to go away for emissions testing in my state

As one parent to another, if the child has a condition to where he can only eat a certain diet then I can see some level of difficulty, but still $1,200 a month is insane. I have a 3 year old myself and my wife and I don’t even spend more than $150-200 on food just for him alone

bottom line she's a narcissist - she puts herself first, her workout clothes before her child, her makeup before her child, flying to this show before her child, drake concert before her child, personal trainer before her child vacation before her child target, amazon, apple before her child Meaning of narcissist = Summer This is not difficult at all, she's just a terrible mother who only cares about her own wants. I would have loved for them to include how much in she spent on her child in the course of a month. and if you think i'm being hard on her, watch the video

Its still possible she gets it together. She did voluntarily go on Calebs show. She is starting therapy which shows a desire to change. Realize shes on the spot and probably unwilling to publically admit she messed up. Its possible she goes home and thinks about what Caleb said and has a lightbulb moment. Change tho is extremely hard. If she just pucks one thing to change each month she would slowly see better outcomes. I think when you have small wins it motivates you yo make more change. It's doubtfull she will be able to change all her habits at once. Scorched earth rarely works. Small incremental changes are far more doable and more likely to be maintained. Calebs show is fun to watch as are other finance shows and they certainly are valuable for avoiding some common pitfalls but they give unrealistic plans to the participants. Set them up to fail.

The check engine light most times is faulty or a garbage light as long as you do normal maintenance and keep your car up. I have a code reader that I used to use on my old car and my dad tore apart my engine due to a sensor, fixed it, and it STILL CODED (he’s a mechanic) so most times just garbage sensors.

I'm a mechanic and both my vehicles have a check engine light on year round. It's for evap in my case and I don't care. The only time you really need to be concerned is if it's flashing..

In high school I turned 18 at the start of my senior year and had gotten a student card from chase. I did have a part time job so I always paid it off. I just assumed you were supposed to pay your bills off completel😅😅 some people I think feel entitled to it and don’t even try to pay it off regardless of age

If you can't see the difference, try reducing the lighting on your device. I definetely prefer this over Western contour now, because it looks good in 3D and not just on a frontal selfie. And it doesn't change my actual face shape, just adds dimension & depth, which helps my body image so much 💕 Finally I don't have an immediate urge to draw on new face every time I look in the mirror bare faced 🤗

it's very bad to take out payday loans and clime into crazy debt with terrible financial habits. it's disgusting and irresponsible to do this at the expense of her own kid and the part that disgusts me most about this is she doesn't even care one bit. she has to care to clime out of this and her actions are showing very little that she cares more about her kid than climing into to more terrible debt.

Check engine lights usually means an emissions issue and isn't vital to the actual life of the car. For example, a gas cap not being screwed on tight can make this happen.

I think she couldn’t care less, about debt, collections, student loans. I wonder if there is an actual boyfriend- you have it so right that any boyfriend should be good for 80 bucks. She learned early on that there is no obligation to pay back what was spent on credit card- it will just go into collections. Meaningless words to someone who has her make up done in order to go to a concert.
