Hey everyone! Welcome back to another video, and this one is a real treat! We're flying Sedlo and 10 Percent True's collaborative mission, which pits us in the Strike Eagle flying over Syria. This is a great mission that is of course immersive, but also very challenging. It's a great way to test if you're ready to be a great Mudhen pilot! I can't recommend it enough! Well flown! Super glad you enjoyed the mission! I designed it with replay-ability in mind. After the refuelling, there are basically 4 stories/scenarios I wrote. Let’s call them A, B, C and D. There is a random chance that all 4 scenarios (A, B, C and D) will happen. There is a random chance that only A and B will happen, a random chance that B and D will happen, a random chance that A and C will happen…. And so on and so on. Looks like 2 of them happened for you on this fly thorough. Next time you fly it, the chances are you will experience a different storyline than the one you just flew. The two other a scenarios that you didn’t see are quite interesting and complex ;) Do another one with the “Start from Push” version and you might have a wildly different experience. ;)

Okay that's insane! I'll definitely give it another play through. This is easily the most testing mission out for the mudhen now and I didn't even realize the complexity and randomness to it! Thanks Sedlo 😊

Version 1.1 up now! Changes to the mission reduce the chances of wingman being shot down by MANPAD, updated a scenario to clear the player to use gun and a few more tweaks to the briefings/knee boards.

A note on the TACAN - you mentioned A/A mode not working for the TACAN on tankers: that's a DCS-ism, not a bug. ED insists on programming tanker TACANs to act like ground stations to give distance and heading, rather than the actual A/A stations they should be that only provide range. This is despite multiple people that have crewed KC-130s and KC-135s providing real-world experience and unclassified documentation that it's not how it's supposed to work. I found this out while learning how to program tanker TACANs in the mission editor while building my own personal AAR trainer.

@@sedlo Are you one of the voice actors? Sorry to offend you. If not, why so defensive? You seem to be insinuating that I'm wrong about the quality of it. Do you really think this is how pilots talk to each other over the radio?

This is how people sound when on the radio in real life. In fact most of the technical information, e.g. from a 9-line is read off a piece of paper or a screen. Real people aren't Hollywood actors.
