he’s a poor fielder whose stuck at first, but surprisingly fast. he has immense power, but he strikes out like no other. in 2021, his only full season, he was in the 2nd percentile for k% and whiff%.
He is great at 3rd we used him wrong... i wish oakland would save him... i really feel he could be 280 340 700+ with 25 30 bombs he can hit just has been ruined here boncing back an forth an being replaced everyday in paper.. its been hard... He has hit when he isnt down on himself swinging at the world he really is big d bobby
He didn't have a full season in 2021.... about 30 games shy and he hit 25.dingers with 80rbis he is also not a bad fielder very versatile and has played multiple positions and maintained a fielding % of 0.99
Yes he strikes out however does that make him unworthy of a spot in the 9? Javy Baez strikes out a lot Reggie Jackson, Miguel Cabrera, A-Rod, Sammy Sosa, Willie Stargil all strike out a lot.
Altitude. Theres... i believe its a baseball doesnt exist video where they covered 2 home runs hit by the same guy, one at sea level and one way up in some ballpark in mexico at like 6000 feet if im remembering right, same pitch velo, same exit velo, same launch angle, the high altitude shot went 100 feet further than at sea level. Air density plays a significant role.
A decent sized, strong human with good mechanics can go 480-580 with the right air and wind conditions. Most home runs aren’t even fully squared up, lotta big leaguers just flickin the wrist & balls goes 380 😂
Homer runs should be measured by where they would land if nothing was there. Most home runs land in the seats or hit something. I bet we’d see a lot more 500+ foot home runs if there was nothing in the way.
@@ajgale7995 if it was 515 it would have landed on summit st, which it didn’t. This was hit 450-470 as it didn’t even clear the service road that goes around the ballpark.
