I am trying only Murasama playthrough on Revengence Mode. Muramasa actually struggles with DPS a lot of times. The abilities makes it easier to survive, but some boss fights take a very long time
I do kinda love how even though this murasama isn't a true melee anymore, it still maintains the idea of it being a melee weapon. Every new attack are still some kind of slash or plunge that would make perfect sense for a blade
It still list the dmg type as true melee, despite being able to hit through walls for some reason lol. Only projectile shooting melee weapons aren't counted as true melee

I have been waiting for a showcase like this since I really don't know what most of the stuff was reworked in the overhaul mod. And can you also do a showcase on the "unofficial calamity bards and healers mod"?
@@Murasama1 Take your time for that since there's really no rush but yeah having a healer and bard class is a game changer in calamity, dunno if it'll work on infernum but they're probably gonna work on that after adding more and/or polishing the mod
The Spear of Longinus, for reference, killed Jesus on the cross! I'm also pretty sure the 'g' in Longinus is a soft g, like the second g in gauge. Anyways I'm so happy they gave Sam access to Judgment Cut End in the latest Devil Gear Rising update-
Pretty sure "Heavenfall Longbow" is the chinese translation for the endgame weapon "Longbow of the Heavens" from the Minecraft mod Avaritia. The crafting table itself is also a clear reference to the "Extreme Crafting Table" from Avaritia.

Now these reworks are amazing, and would lead to interesting play throughs. However, wouldn't calamity mod be too easy with these reworks? I mean just look, some of the reworks look insanely overpowered!
Man, these mods keep getting better and better, my previous computer got overheated a few months ago and i haven't been able to play any terraria since that, seeing things like infernum mod and the Nameless Deity, make me eager to work and hopefully get a new computer soon enough...
Honestly, for once in my life I think I'm leaning more towards OG calamity content than I am to fanmade calamity content on this one. The original murasama is fine in its simplicity; there's no need to complicate things.
No, but do note it stole assets and trails and visuals from other mods when it was released and probs still have it for now.. Mod isnt in a good state until then.
Wanna know something funny? They stole code, mainly stars above judgement attack, wrath the gods viuals or infernum visuals and so on. Some code has been fixed.
The upgrade mechanic is a really underutilized concept in most Terraria mods, and seeing one that changes so much more than just damage AND with the added bonus of being a Calamity addon? Now that's just insane
This looks horrible, not only ur using armament display instead of zzp198's WeaponOut lite but even more this mod makes the legendary murasama look like a bannana boomerang lol
im playing infernum with calamity overhaul, you gotta turn the damage down bro its literally just making the game too easy 😭😭😭😭this thing is broken asf
Playing on Revengence mode makes this weapon for the end bosses such as the exo mechs and the witch, not op at all. In fact, for fighting the witch, I had to switch to the zenith sword for ranged about 75% of the time. I wish that the murasama got endgame power, using the omega machine at the end, like the other weapons such as the spear of longinus and that op rainbow bow.
I found a broken bug...if you have Wrath of the gods installed, after beating SCal, the Murasama's damage jumps to around 96k something. Not sure how much exactly since I didn't check without accessories and armor. Atleast I think Wrath of the Gods is the reason why
Ever since the murasama nerf I thought we wouldn’t get the og damage ever again. We got it back at a 16.8k dps with no reforge. With the godly reforge we got 19.7k dmg which is only a 300 damage difference. It isn’t just a sword that just slashes across the screen anymore. You can throw it and slam in to the ground with it. This mod made the murasama from a mid decent melee class weapon but to an absolute nightmare once you are post profaned guardians. This is a massive comeback. A 300 damage difference from the old one.
Bro as soon as I saw that polymerizer crafting table, it gave me avaritia flashbacks It even has the infinity ingots 😭 No Ark of the Cosmos upgrade into Sword of the Cosmos though? Rip, such wasted potential
While i think overhaul's murasama is a bit overtuned, calamity mod's is just boring now. Really hope calamity devs give the murasama some kind of charge attack like in metal gear rising with the Sam's gun sheath.
Ok, that makes sense. It is all because of the mod, this quite literally carry to the endgame, mastering its slashes is so good and once you dash attack you get a little invulnerability, very useful for worm boss if they hwy circles around you.
This mod looks really cool. But DAMN are those endgame weapons REALLY hard just to get the materials for! Maybe create a little showcase of them in the future?
In fact, heavenfall longbow deals much more damage with its charged attack. This attack is capable of killing an nameless deity with a single hit, I think it can deal more than 30 million damage...

If you name yourself Vergil the murasama turns blue and when you do the strongest attack it plays the 6 second of the song (i am the storm that is approaching) TRY IT
The mod certainly looks REALLY COOL, but knowing how the Chinese do everything too cool, they then stop updating their mods for months if not years, as it was with MEAC.
late to this video but i noticed that the crafting system is similar to this one minecraft mod called "avaritia" which involves ridiculous endgame grinding for ridiculously overpowered tools and its MASSIVE crafting table grids.

I cant help but notice the similarity to the extreme crafting table and infinity ingots from the avaritia mod for minecraft... Update: I downloaded the mod and yep, infinty catalyst, infinity ingots and dark matter are all a thing here, even look the same as in avaritia and projectE respectively. I can't help but find this hilarious
