This franchise is really strange yet interesting as someone who loves horror as well as cartoons and animation. The humor is always so zany and random much like some of my all-time favorite animated shows and movies. Granted, not all of it works for me; some of it is just a little too weird and/or gross for me (i.e.: the priest trying to get freaky with Reagan and the dinner scene). On the other hand, the other half of the humor is actually really funny and are jokes that I can see working in other horror comedies, like The Cabin in the Woods or Tucker and Dale vs. Evil.

YES I've been waiting for this ever since you mentioned SM2 in a video! It's one of my fav movies and you're the only reactor I can bear seeing movies with so this it's very exciting for me.

The scene where they’re playing with the basketballs, they’re making fun of the group stomp.

The really funny bit about that song is there was a clean radio version they could have sung, but they wanted you to know right away what kind of movie this was. Nothing in this film was considered accepted behavior even back then... that's kind of the joke. Great reaction!

Hey Cody so i noticed that you are kinda getting back to animated movie reactions and i noticed that you reacted to 3 Toy Story movies and you liked them so i suggest that you do a reaction to Toy Story 4 it's my favorite one of the 4

actually i like this over the 1st goes 2nd, 1st 3rd ... then 4th dont wanna see 5th got Malcolm in the middle brother, got Wayne brothers, you should see the deleted scenes sucks that most reactions dont have the deleted scenes added, it reveals why their back .. well somewhat, or acknowledges it. Also the butler is in many things, he always funny also he on Groundhog, got of course Tim Curry who each part he has he is just creepy even in Home Alone 2 creepy he even is in some Tales from the Crypt and some others always a creepy person even if good, plays part so well. Though love 1 alot i like 2 more better minus the gross stuff, just there is so much more going on. Then the 1st though first had more plot, also the person that killed the 2 was the butler, in the deleted scenes which i had to look up some bit back he did it its like we knew you did it xD Even Tim Curry tells them a somewhat plot what happened there he kept getting interupted and he tells them to shut up and let him finish the dang story xD

Besides Scary Movie 5, Scary Movie 2 I would say is probably my least favorite so I definitely think you'll enjoy 3 and 4 whenever you get around to watching them.

2nd one is my favorite. Then the 1st one. 3 is pretty good. 4 is not bad. Cindy and Brenda really carry the franchise. The 5th one is absolutely horrible. More slaptic childish humor than the first four. They really should have stopped at 2. The Wayan's brothers really made the movies have that extra special comedy that 3-4 don't have. And 5 should have never happened. No originals were in it.

Come on, not the propaganda about - if this movie came out today, it will be cancelled Scary movie 5 came out 20 years after this movie. Shows like southpark and its always sunny have much worse jokes and still going strong, we do have much worse jokes in movies and shows today and none gets cancelled. Borat 2 just came out last year or so. I hate people who act victim without reason particularly when you are repeating propaganda from bigots about some sort of "cancel culture" when in reality we are living in a way more permissible age of tv and movies than the decade when this movie was released. I expect better from you Cody, lol, you need to be smarter than to parrot propaganda spread by bigots.
