Scary Movie 2 isn't related to one movie like first part with Scream. Scary Movie 2 is parody of "The Haunting" but also we have small parts of "Exorcist", "Poltergeist" , "Nightmare of Elm Street", "The Changeling".

The actor playing the ghost of Hugh Kane is Richard Moll, he’s famous for playing Aristotle Nostradamus “Bull” Shannon in Night Court, Mestema in The Dungeonmaster, Big Ben in House (1985) and if you were a 90’s kid he voiced Harvey Dent / Two Face in Batman: The Animated Series.

honestly the 3rd movie is probably the most iconic, I remember when it came out we could just quote the whole thing back and forth, its so fucking hilarious xD if you havent seen Signs then definitely watch that cause thats like the main theme of the 3rd one, just like Scream was the 1st :) also The Ring :D

The first is best one. 3 is corny and nowhere near as funny as the first two as the Wayne's didn't return to make it. Which one can tell the quality dipped. 2 isn't as funny as the first because it was rushed as the Wayne's bros said in an interview.

Every time I hear that song I think of that singing in the car scene every time lmao. And fun fact they took that scene from that movie with young Jared Leto and the actor of Freddy Krueger called Urban Legend. And there is a scene where one of the characters is driving and singing horribly to the song and that's why they made her stop lmfao😂

Before you watch the 3rd one, it's recomended that you watch The Ring and Signs first, which that movies parodies (not just the opening scene). In my opinion, it's the funniest of the franchise

I think the reason that the Exorcist had a important part in this movie was that it showed the ghost of the house possessing the little girl and when she died the family moved out and that's why the house is vacant. But that's my theory.

Another great Tim Curry movie is “Legend” with Tom Cruise and Mia Sara, by Ridley Scott. There’s two versions, both worth watching. The US version has a great soundtrack by Tangerine Dream, but is shorter. The European version has lots of extra scenes that explain more, and the soundtrack is by Jerry Goldsmith. Tim is impressive as The Lord of Darkness.
