This Movie Wasn't Bad, You Guys Are Just Mean - The Marvels - Movie Monday

Given all the other comic movies that came out around and after this movie it really isn't so bad. I just don't think people really liked the characters enough (i blame the writing of the first movie and the failure of the series) to go out and watch it

Sorry for the late comment but I just recently found your channel. I loved this movie. Saw it in theaters and at first I thought the swapping gimmick was too goofy but still thought it was well done. By the musical planet I was like "I get it, that's what kind of movie they're making" and was totally cool with it. I've seen it several times now and it's better every time. As I understand it the majority of ppl who stayed home and then watched it on D+ now regret not going to the theater. It always amuses me when people say "Marvel movie X wasn't good cause of the bland villain." There aren't that many good villains in Marvel. You want villains, go watch a Batman film. People watch Marvel cause they want to see Iron Man fly around and blow shit up, not cause they thought Obadiah Stane was a well rounded, unique, three dimensional villain. Only good villains in the MCU are Erik Killmonger, Loki (who's barely a villain) and maybe Thanos.

Well I lived it but I can say I saw another RU-vidr react to this and they felt the musical planet was stupid and wrong. Well my brother does not like musicals but I do there is no reason why they should all know the same song and dance he'll say I think its the same here they didn't get the joke but just my thoughts 💭

of course this movie was hated because it was called "sexist" by many weird people. No strong male in any role, even the bad guy is a woman, and on top they even made fury into a comedic relief instead of a strong male. Its a great movie, and luckily i didn't mind the mostly all female cast.

I like the sword, I liked the commentary and I like this film. Now for the negatives. I didn't like that you were away for so long. 😉 I'm trying to think of a film that you may not have seen, and I can't think of anything off the top of my head. I'm assuming you've already seen Guardians 3 which would have been my first choice. Could you let us know which films you wouldn't mind watching but haven't had time to do so yet? I'd love to see a reaction to "One cut of the dead" but hardly anyone would watch that because nobody has heard of it. None of my friends had until I forced them to watch it, now they are all fans of it. So...maybe not that one. lol. Sorry, I'm rambling because I've taken my pain meds. Yay for pain meds. 😵

I never got around to watching this movie until last week and I was super fucking lost as to why it was hated. It made me laugh so hard. I know nothing about Kamala or grown Monica's characters and didn't feel lost at all. I'm going with the theory that the people who hated it just didn't get hugged as children.

This was such a fun movie. People are just haters now.

You two are braver than me, I don't know why people hated this movie and I really don't wanna know why people hated this movie. I don't care. I loved it, easily on my top 10 of the most enjoyable superhero movies ever, laughed from beginning to end, characters' interactions were great, fight scenes were great, baddie was dumb (as is tradition), flerkens were adorable. I could watch a whole show of just the three main girls bantering.

I really like this movie. Kamala is a amazing character. Happy to see Beast!!

I don't know if many RU-vid channels were paid to trash the movie but now that is released to Disney+ and watched it is a very good MCU movie, good story, nice CGI, great action sequences, Brie, Teyonah and specially Iman Vellani are amazing, I really regret not watching it on the big screen and let myself be carried away by stupid wanna be movie critics. I learned my lesson and just go to the movies if I wanna watch the movie.

See the Sitaramam movie. It's a love story and soldier movie, it's so beautiful movie see it.

I agree it wasn't terrible. It is very obviously geared towards young girls.

I had such a fun time watching this movie (both times I saw it) I don't understand the hate. It was litterally just a side quest. I do get that the MCU has become quantity over quality however I can put that aside for movies like this and Thor: Love and Thunder!
