TY for covering this map, I was thinking about potentially doing some work on it myself or giving my feedback on it. Given the geography of the map though, I personally would've changed the city from Kheshatta to Karnath, given it would fit a lot better since Karnath is next to the sea and already has a dock, whereas Kheshatta already has a more true depiction within Age of Conan where it's placed within the desert somewhat away from the coast. Of course I'll be sure to mention this to the mod makers on the steam workshop page as well just to help out.
Modders continue to impress. They've kept many games alive with their content far beyond the original developers intent. Bethesda with Skyrim, Funcom with Conan Exiles and many more.
Dayum, that looks great. I recently returned to the Savage Wilds, and I'm loving it. And I am definitely looking forward to this one as a new playground. Thanks for the showcase; and I'm dying to see what you will build here ;-)
I've been playing on this map for a while, and it is awesome. Although be advised, Snowhunter does not believe in "easy" so be prepared for a challenging adventure. Based on the limitations of UE4, it's amazing how large Snowhunter has been able to make this map, so unlike other Conan Exiles maps, it will give many more hours of exploration into unknown areas.
If this ends up with lots of bosses, and dungeons with bosses etc in em I'll be all over this. First and foremost, love to build and loot, but the dungeons/bosses in Exiled Lands give varied play and a reason to use all that loot. Every once in a while, just to be able to say to your clanmate "lets go and do the Wine Cellar or Warmakers" etc and know you have about a dozen choices, has given CE so much to do...

I think as long as anyone who makes a large map follows the basic Savage Wilds blueprint, that is, to include fast travel and all of the same feats and recipes available on EL and Siptah, it'll be a success.

i want to see a working ship mod and all these maps put together so we can sail from one to another, tho i hear there is a hard coded size to what conan's map can be.
Snowhunter makes amazing mods and I love his work, it's just that none of it usually plays well with things like AOC. This obvioulsy isn't designed for that, so no biggie here. This is a fantastic map and I did watch him streams some of the creation of it until being in the stream required a tin foil hat from all the extremist conspiracy theories he seems to subscribe to. Past that, good dude and I hope his chemo treatments are going well. Seriously though, if you go to the stream, bring a tin foil hat. You will need it.
