The most reliable engine and transmission combination GM has! Honestly the most reliable vehicle I’ve been working in GM dealerships for the last 23 years and the Envision is the vehicle we see least in the shop I highly recommend it! I’m a truck guy and love my Silverado but the Envision it just works!
This is SICK!!! I will never understand the Buick slander, all I have to say is- go test drive one before you judge! I've driven my 2020 Encore GX since it was new, and I still get compliments from strangers about my car. These Buicks are unique and stand out in the crowd. Btw, im 21 years old
me too! and i’m a youngish mother and I always get from my girlfriends that it’s nice and luxurious to them who drive mostly mainstream brands. It gives young hot rich and aspirational mid 20s. I love it!
Bought a 25 Chevy Trax 1RS not too long ago this one just came out recently and my eyes where on buying this Buick envision when it came out now I have to wait one full year to trade my Chevy trax for this bad boy! It’s definitely worth it I’m loving the new design the new 30” infotainment system and the stunning color seats omg it’s amazing
That cloth insert on the side of the seat is actually not cost cutting as you suggested. It’s actually there to replace leather or faux leather which tends to disintegrate very quickly in that particular area due to all of the compression and movement that particular part of the seat experiences. They replaced it with fabric as it’s more durable and will increase the longevity of the seat. Also, If you’ve ever owned a car with a head up display, i don’t think you would say it’s “useless.” I use it every time I drive. Not having to take your eyes off the road isn’t useless.
@@jay315-z5kGood, because people like you who who refuse to understand what a budget car is, then enjoy spending way more than this on something that has what you want in today's prices.
I've loved thr Envisions for a few years now. The only "complaint" I've heard from a few owners is the floating feeling of a looser suspension. What was your impression of the driving dynamics and did the steering feel a little too lose? I'm used to Chevy Equinox's where I move the steering wheel a little bit and it goes where I want when I want!
I have a ‘23 and the roads are trash where I live. I love how soft it rides for day to day comfort, and it does float a bit because of that, but I wouldn’t call it floaty or bouncy. It feels confident and well-planted. It’s surprisingly playful when you want it to be, but it really shines as a smooth-cruiser. I find myself driving it in sport mode most of the time because it makes the steering feel heavy and seems to tighten it up a bit. Sport mode also uses the AWD system to send power to the rear outer wheel when cornering. All in all I’d say it’s a pretty good balance of handling and comfort.
@lilred1107 that's my thought when people say it seems too light on the road. I just like a tighter steering like I'm used to currently. I'll definitely have to drive the Envision and especially on the highway, to get a good feeling about it.
@PatrickJTezak For the adjustability with suspension and steering see if you can find an Avenir trim and test it out. The sport setting does tighten things up.
Nice SUV but it is overpriced, needs 50 more horsepower to compete with an RDX, Lexus NX, and Buick lost its panache of a luxury brand it once had in the 80s and 90s. I think Buick lost its way ever since GM shut down Oldsmobile.
It's too bad that all sport utility vehicles don't do what hyundai tucson and kia sportage/Sorento do tuck their rear wiper blade under the rear spoiler very clean looking and no issues with it getting frozen in the winter greetings from southern Ontario Canada thanks for sharing this video
I talked to the DESIGNERS AND ENGINEERS AT THE DETROIT AUTO SHOW AND I GOLD THEM ABOUT THE NEW SEATS THEY SAID TH Htis where the seats split on the sides....
Not bad. Nice looking interior (though I would still dial back the screens) for this price point. Couldn't agree with you more about many of the "tech" features being worthless. Both of my cars came with head up display and I found them so distracting, they were turned off first day. Thanks for mentioning if the vehicle comes with a spare. If I had my way, this would be standard for all car reviews!
When you think of Buick you think of a luxury car and a smooth as glass ride. Ideal for people who do "not" want a sports car ride which can be too jarring, jerky and painful at times. So the public expectation for a new Buick would be a car with power recliner seats, with self leveling shocks a system that absorbs the pot holes and the curbs. Something you could give voice commands too instead of touch screen controls or an array of buttons. A car that would address you with, "Good morning Ben, where are we going today?" And then say Bye Ben, with real emotion when you disembark Something the new BMW Mini Cooper can do, it sounds like 2001 A Space Odyssey. You'll look back and the 12" screen will display, "BYE BEN".
Just add the 2.0 with 252 horsepower back like the equinoxes had with the 2.0 ltg turbo 4 had. Those engines had the perfect amount of power and full.economy and GM messed it up .
we had a 2916 and traded it for more than we paid for to buy Maverick Hybrid. i loved the Envusion but the gas tank was sm, and mileage was in the low 20’s. it had great features! If I could get it in a hybrid, I’d buy another one!
so the Envision is now a much smaller vehicle than the previous model which was based on the Blazer platform. Nice looking car but way too small for my liking.
I would buy one of these if it didnt have that god awful 3 cylinder engine. If these had a 6 cylinder engine it would be flying off shelves because its design is amazung.
The automobile is Made in Shanghai, China. At this point Buick is just trying to stay alive. And while many companies partner with China, it seems that China is increasingly truculent and therefore unsavory as a partner and at some point it might be a questionable partnership in terms of loyalty to America. For these reasons, and others, I would not make the purchase.
The older front looked better this new design language is ugly it needs more power and and loud aggressive exhuast a prp]oper performance version. it looks sporty but drives like a soccer moms suv ⚡
Why did you state it had a 4 cylinder; when it only has a 3 cylinder, with a wet timing belt get rid of it before warranty ends. This won’t age well; lipstick on a pig, long term reliability on GM is lost.
