@@Mik3yLowcause media rather negative ova positive then on top nfl wanna dictate who and how what their players do. They don’t want them to have the same say so/ freedom as nba players
Good on u, but also make sure that u do it in a way that makes him love the sport instead of hate it. And make sure he is not 100% reliant on sports because some people train their whole lives and just won’t make it. Good luck to u and ur son
She played the roles of mom and dad. Now she’s playing the role of his agent. Three big jobs & she’s doing them all with excellence. Shoutout Lamar’s mom.
He’s a Christian! Mahomes is too Lamar is outspoken about his faith. I just love my family in Christ & can’t wait to worship Jesus together haha!! Hope to see you there too 🙂
@@gee6831 This was in May of this year “The Lord, I give Him all his praise the glory and the honor. I could’ve been doing anything, you know. It’s crazy,” Jackson said. “I’m talking to him throughout the day, ‘I appreciate you’ ‘I thank you’. Because when you feel you’re bigger than the Lord that’s when all that success dies. It goes away.”
Hold your head bro my mom has brain cancer and everyday I think what I would do w out her. I’m learning I have to be strong regardless blessings to you ❤
His mom let Lamar pick an after school activity, and then she went above and beyond! What a hell of a mom! She did all she could to make sure her son would succeed!
@@Ballinbmac Rip to his pops never called or assumed he was a deadbeat. That still don’t take away the respect I got for his moms, she did a helluva job
Bro his mum isn’t just da reason he in nfl cause he born but all the workouts yes. I love you Lamar. rest in paradise grandma Jackson and Dad Jackson😢🕊️🕊️
My mom has been that supportive my whole life. So has my dad. Even when I fell into addiction and nearly died, they were there to help pick up the pieces. I’d be dead or homeless without them. Good parents are sometimes the difference between life and death.
Wow amazing mother! My pops was addicted to percs and alcohol and was asleep most my life, however even faded out of his mind he would go outside to throw the football with me while i practiced my routes because he loved me and i always knew he did even if he had his immense battles to deal with. This vid made me tear up remembering how my father was before he passed
Shoutout to her for being Super Mom and I see why she his manager she his coach too got damn didnt know mommy was the strength and conditioning trainer 🤯 WHAT ???
Do you know how many times I have been involved in a situation or conversation and out of the blue a white person. Always a white person mentions something about race. So I'm just doing my due diligence
He didn’t want an agent because they Paid 3.5%. He just named his mother his agent so he can give her that money. She wasn’t actually making calls to teams for him she’s not legally allowed to. Only authorized licensed agents and, or players are allowed to speak with teams regarding contracts.. that’s part of the NFLPA guidelines.
Did you just make this up? He still doesn’t have Agent, his mother is his manager, not agent. Managers don’t make calls but they negotiate behind the scenes with the player. He said himself, “ me and her were piggybacking off each other” when negotiating. Give this woman her credit.
When I was younger and played County/Babe Ruth baseball, the coaches wife was our batting coach. She was amazing! Could hit anything and even place the ball wherever she wanted.
The media and some fans tried to criticize how much his mom was involved in his contract negotiations without knowing the time and sacrificed she put in for her son to get this far.
She should make a career training middle school and high school football players. I love her mentality of “I won’t tell you to do something I can’t do”. That’s something we should all carry
This is awesome ! This reminds me of what Michael Jordan has said in past interviews what an impact his mom and dad had on his success and we also seen in the movie "Air" what a big role a parent or parents can play in the success and support in their child.❤
The fact that she as a woman knew the beach workouts were for route runners she should never want for anything That’s all we did in high school in California Make momma proud
A good Mom. But vomiting during workouts is common place in big football states in the south. Or so our coaches said a few years back. They’d say stuff like “You can run and throw up” and pretty much keep going statements.
Real mom there ty 👏👏👏👏👏 as a Vikings fan i was pissed when we had the chance to draft him what a hell of a qb now good luck Ravens ill be spying that qb of yours
Lamar’s mom is like that. you always hear about her bc she’s his manager but I don’t think I’ve ever heard her speak. as known as she is she isn’t begging anyone for an interview. definition of a super mom. this all after she lost her children’s father and her mother on the same day when Lamar was young.
Live proof that if you do it with your children instead of telling them it works better in the long run. Even if he didn’t play in the nfl he’d be a hard worker still
