Most people i know stay married because it's easier than dividing the money & property. Plus, they want to be able to say they stayed together despite the fact that they were unhappy, like they're fulfilling their duty to organized religion and it makes them look good to others in society.

My x-husband committed adultery and abandoned the family, he hurt my children so he hurt me., he was verbally and physically abusive to me and my children, so maybe God brought her to him to save me and my children's life.😥🙏

This is my problem with marriage in general. People who are abused often stay in terrible marriages based on the promises made and not wanting to give up. If it is terrible, use your brain and move on. I personally have wasted a lot of my lifetime trying to make the unworkable work, at great personal expense in every way imaginable

If verbal and physical abuse is involved with the marriage and children, you should separate 😢

Exactly true. Sometimes we HAVE to give more and receive less. This percentage changes over the lifetime of a marriage.

The best relationship anyone can have is their relationship with God. God never betrays, shouts, belittles, cheats, deceives, demands. God does not keep anyone waiting. God does not disparage anyone's body, nor make unflattering comparisons to others, under the pretext of "offering constructive criticism." God is never asleep when you need Him: in fact, God never sleeps. He is always ready for conversation, and will always give you Undivided Attention that will leave you feeling better, or at least show you a way forward out of your pain. God does not ask for money, because He has no bank accounts: whatever money you give to the charity or the clergy of your choice, or the school, or the cause, is not money "you gave to God," because it is not passed on to God: God has no bank accounts. His riches are all around you: in the hummingbirds, the magnificent - ephemeral - flowers, in the pets you love and above all in the Human Children that are everywhere... for now, while human fertility is still somewhat available. How does one cultivate a relationship with God? With Music, or with Silence; with art, or books; by reading the Scriptures and studying them, or other sacred texts that God puts in your way - for the stars themselves are His language; by cooking, with attention and curiosity and flair, because how we convert seemingly inert matter or formerly living flora and fauna into the tissues and thoughts of our loved ones and our own healthy selves is, indeed, a great mystery, that occurs in Communion with God and through His benevolent permission (unless, of course, your idea of a meal for a child is a frozen burrito from Costco that they are to zap in the microwave without ever bothering to find you and ask you to feed them). Being asked, by a child, for food, is a great Privilege, that, alas, increasing numbers of parents and grandparents no longer even recognize as such. They imagine ordering a pizza or some fast food from the approved burger brand, or buying a hot dog, or popcorn at the movies, is "feeding your child." It is not. Actually feeding your child involves God. It involves earning the money, choosing the grocer (Zabar's? Trader Joe's? Whole Foods? The farmers' market? Your own kitchen garden?), shopping for the precise ingredients, studying the recipe (or checking it, if you know it by heart), SAYING A PRAYER, and then preparing the meal. Then serving it, and, ideally, sitting with the person/child/teenager while they eat it, and speaking with them in love of mutually agreeable subjects, so that they experience all the holiness that a family meal and a family table indeed have to offer - and not just on Thanksgiving, or on any special holy day "because that is expected" but on any Random Day, and indeed on every day, and certainly on their Birthday. There is prayer in fine cooking, just as there is prayer in beautiful dancing (not lewd dancing, careful dancing where you actually attempt to express uplifting feelings through your body's movements, to music, or without music, with someone else, or with no one there but you and God). There is prayer in everything we do, if we choose to put it there: as soon as you understand that, and stop wasting your time avoiding God, but instead make the most of the Eternity that Begins Right Now by reaching out and INCLUDING GOD IN ALL YOU DO, everything else will click into place... Your travels will reveal the glories of Creation to you; on the way to work, you will discover someone who needs your help, desperately needs it - on a billboard, in a newspaper report, while scrolling through your phone, or even by overhearing a conversation... You will see ways in which you can make your own community better, yes, even by helping a homeless person (and then pressuring your local authorities to finally DO SOMETHING TO PROVIDE BASIC HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS, as the British Prince William is attempting to do, even in spite of being mocked for it and undermined at every turn). All this, and so much more will happen to you - including a happier home life and a better marriage, either with the spouse you are married to now, or the one you will meet next - IF YOU ONLY BEGIN BY REACTING TO GOD'S PERMANENT STANDING INVITATION - that Adam & Eve spurned, that Karl Marx and Sigmund Freud spurned, that all sorts of pathologically unsuccessful (though famous and even on occasion prosperous) people spurned - and turn away from the TV set, to finally say and answer, "Yes. Please. I am so glad we can finally talk." You might say that when the lights are all out, when people imagine you are already asleep, or about to go to sleep (because in our age of 24/7 surveillance, you never know what even "religious" people might say about you "talking to God"), but you must say it. Because God has already spoken: God spoke to you the moment you were conceived, and every moment while you were being born, and every moment of your infancy and childhood... It was at school that they first taught you to tune out God. Well, reverse course, then. Less TV. More God. And then everything else will fall into place. As it always has, for everyone who has ever bothered to try. Like Rabbi Simon here.

Respect each others space when needed, contribute, and have lots of babies. One might be self employed, one might be the accountant. I believe having a compatible star sign is very important. No marriage is perfect, no children are perfect, you can only do your best. I know of a divorced couple who blame each other for being a narcissist, one is a taurus and the other a leo, I think they just don't understand one another as these two signs are very opposite, although can work if they make the effort to understand one another's diffences.
@kresivarivkah612
@kresivarivkah612 11 месяцев назад
Star signs are not indicative of a good marriage. If you are into the stars then you must understand that people are more than their star signs. However, there is such a matter as abuse. We cannot deny that. We are more than star signs.
@rs77-w7y

I didn't say there wasn't more to us than our star signs, otherwise we wouldn't have criminals in the world. I also didn't say there wasn't abuse. I do believe that star signs are important. You may not, that is your opinion.
