Why didn't you guys wait in spawn for like 3s and let him waste ultimate?? Instead of dismounting yourselves, his team will have a 5v4 to deal with while he walks I actually tell my team this and it works. In CASUAL
@@AK70FORYOU talus keeps 70% of ultimate upon missing, and being late on Ice mines, with everyone having Master Riding, is a much more bigger risk, than having killed talus and forcing a 4v5
PERFECT ending point fight. That's what happens when everyone works together. Even though Talus had Tier 3 Resilience, everyone still capitalized on Damba's ult and got Talus immediately. Plus the Raum/Bomb King ult on point was SUBLIME. Nice work to your team.
i think we should commend this talus player, i also play talus and try doing this but most of the time i die and then the game is 4v5. their team was playing well too, inara locked the entrance so your team had to fulnnel into the point dying one by one. the strat to deal with talus is that the person he targets should only engage with him, rest should quickly move to point, then it will be 1v1 at back and 4v4 at point. when i played talus and used ult its main objective was to dismount as many as i can. the only way to deal with that is to quickly kill talus and rush to point together.
To counter Talus's ult if they know that he will always use it, is to buy the horse item, and at the beginning of the round stay a few seconds in the spawn all, so Talus loses the ult and the rune, plus he will have to walk to the spawn
@@cynicalnightmare1108 Possibly, but since everyone stays a few seconds in the spawn, Talus won't be able to teleport anyone, so he won't be able to use his rune offensively.
This is why you immidietly ban this kid as soon as you take control. That ult is way too busted for this game that makes you loose your mount from his attack, giving Talus's team a massive advantage as they're already in their positions. It amazes me till this day that his ult was never nerfed to a certain distance, get screwed either way. Teleport from spawnpoint to the other.
How to counter the ult: stay in spawn for an extra 10 seconds after the countdown ends so he uses his ult with teleporting to anyone because he can't get in spawn then try to retake with ults
Wouldn't it be more effective to send one champ in, which Talus can ult but not kill? Like in this game the Raum for example, who can sprint to point after fighting Talus.
Probably the best way to counter the ult is just to not care all and dont be so grouped so your whole team dont get dismounted. Just let the attacked teammate deal with it. Problematic if he goes for your support though damn.
I wish you could post some of your loses. I mean, because you only post your victories, I always know the result of the matches, so there's no tension of you losing or winning because you always win. Posting some loses here and there would make people more engaged with your videos. That's just my take, anyways. Good vid.
Iirc if Talus has no confirmed target (either he looks away from everyone or they are all in spawn) and therefore doesn't teleport, he gets about 50-75% ult charge back (don't remember the actual value of the top of my head, sorry.) But no, he doesn't get his ful ult back.
Seems funny to me that you complain about Overwatch's balance yet you're playing Paladins, the game with the most amount of bugs, where Skye and a lot of the OG cast are super imbalanced, where Raum and Khan could at one point or another serve as the healers of the team lol
