I feel that these animals would make much better parents than some I know.

They feel love.. probably had her baby taken from her…she knows a baby is precious..just like her.

She"s a lovely female orangutan....her strong feeling as a mother expressed through the glass.

How can we imprison these amazing creatures. The gentle intelligence of them is amazing. I bet if there was no glass she would cradle and kiss that baby. I know their forrests are disappearing but there must be a better and more free way for them to live.🙏

What a sweet moment. Orangutan moms are one of the most nurturing primates out there. And their babies stay with them til around 5 or 6 years old. That's a pure moment you guts captured. Right in the feels man.

My all time favorite animal. I once, decades ago, was lucky enough to be able to hold a baby orangutan - I still remember the joy I felt, I did get teary-eyed holding the sweet baby.

When I was at my local zoo a few years back, along with my 7 year old and 2 year old twins, a mother orangutan had her baby. She presented the baby to us… just like in the Lion King. (Not kidding). After she was certain we had seen her son, she took him to herself and covered him with kisses. I was already recording and have it on tape. It’s honestly one of my favorite moments in life. She understood my pride and wanted to show she also felt that amazing joy from being a mother. Animals and good mothers are simply amazing. Our children just being their amazing selves makes us all complete.

Exactly truly touching and heartwarming,that's why these animals should not be in a cage.
