Apolinario Mabini, the First Prime Minister of the Philippines, and also known as the Brains of the Revolution. In 1896, Apolinario Mabini contracted polio and eventually got paralyzed on both legs. Apolinario Mabini served as an adviser for Emilio Aguinaldo, who was the first president of the Philippines. Emilio Aguinaldo fully trusts Apolinario Mabini’s advice regarding his own actions. Apolinario Mabini’s persuasive power over Emilio Aguinaldo was so powerful that his critics called him the “Dark Chamber of the President” Apolinario Mabini used his position to help create the many foundations of the Philippine Republic. Till Apolinario Mabini's death in 1903, he showed continuous support for Philippine Independence.

I think you're right, and it's also possible that he has knowledge in the bonifacio brothers' killings...Possible that he is the one advising Aguinaldo to get rid of the latter's possible political opposition.

If so, then why did Emilio Aguinaldo remove Mabini as the Prime Minister? And if Mabini actually advised Aguinaldo about killing General Luna, then why is he opposing what Aguinaldo did based on his writings? My own opinion is that Aguinaldo listens to every advice Mabini gives to him but he listens more in his emotions, making him do such things outside Mabini's advice. But then again, it's just my opinion.

In his Memoir, Mabini denied any involvement in the assassination of Gen. Luna and is clearly criticizing Aguinaldo's decision. He resigned as cabinet member due to in-house disagreements and noted that "the President no longer listens to his advice".

Actually, he is Not On a Wheelchair. He just sits on a normal chair when doing things, but when he has to be moved from one place to another, other people carry him. I am a Filipino and wheelchairs back then were probably not invented yet.
