Thank you dear, Brother Phap Huu, for sharing your steady, kind, and loving presence with us. Thank you for radiating this so we may all bask in this beside you. May we all shine brightly beside each other.
Dear Brother Phap Huu, dear Plum Village community, dear RU-vid comment section, I would like to dedicate this poem inspired by my listening to Plum Village and Thay from this platform, specifically Thays concept of "flower fresh" and that every facet of our bodily expression can be a flower for another. Thank you for offering these teachings to all of us around the world 🙏🙇 Every night I am told that the world is on fire, and yet... what news is there of the flowers in bloom? What is the good word of their color, their fragrance, their beauty? What of their leanings, always towards the light? And what of their always sunny, steady sway, spreading snowflakes of seed under cool, autumn breeze? I want to know when they spring and when they fall, I want to know what the flowers know by what it is they show. Bring me news of the flowers, and I too may flower. Bring me news of the flowers, so that I too might bloom, so that I too might spread seeds of joy no matter which way the wind blows, until it is my turn to return what was not mine to keep, until it is my turn, to wilt into the wondrous mystery that is life. Peace be with you 🙏🙇
I am so deeply grateful that you are putting these talks on RU-vid. I was meant to come this summer with my sons but we were ultimately unable. I feel like I’m there with you all. Thank you so much. Namaste ❤
Im struggling with the horrors of the war in Gazza I have lost my ability to have compassion and understanding for thier beliefs of being the chosen ones babies burning ,Im really struggling
The ability is not lost, perhaps it is under the surface, waiting dormant for the right time to come out once more: we can start with compassion for our selves and then carry it to the world once we have reestablished ourselves first 🙏🏼 your courage is clearly evident, and that’s the energy it takes to transform Thank you for sharing you vulnerability with us We are here for you 🙏🏼
@@jSpirituS7 oh my!! what an absolutely beautiful thing to say to another sentient being. In a world of increasing darkness, that lovely comment and support to another person just lit up my day. Thank you. And to Keidwyn, be kind to yourself and know that while we as individuals cannot 'fix' the horrors of the world at large, we CAN make a difference by asking the cosmos to bring peace to ourselves and to others. Many blessings to you both.
Don't suppose Plum Village needs a seamstress, eh?? I'd love to offer my sewing skills to your community in exchange for room and board!!! What am amazing place this is; one of these days, I'd like to attend one of these retreats. Thank you!!
Thank you Brother Pham Huu! Thank you for being human in your approach to teaching. I appreciated the members sharing their intentions. Mine is always to be a good person. ❤
