I needed to hear this so badly. Thanks for your transparency and vulnerability. Takes a lot of courage to put yourself and your struggles out there. I appreciate that. God bless you. 🌷
I can’t believe you replied. First time I ever get a reply from an exercise and health you tuber I watch. Thank you. I’m downloading your app. I can honestly sense your care for your followers. 💕
This makes a lot of sense actually, I have major trouble getting things done and I drag it out till I don't want to do it anymore so... hopefully this helps!! Thank you💙
This video did not just help me " a little bit" it was an answer calling out too me and maybe 1million other people. Thank you Vicky for being such an inspiration
Its crazy when you make up your mind to change and be better. You will begin to see little ways to continue to encourage yourself everywhere. Ive been working on creating better habits and last week I got the revelation that there is nothing stopping me from reaching my goals but me. So every morning I woke up with the mind set I can do this!!!!! Thanks for sharing. My one thing is reading 10 pages a day.
Here's another thing I Learned many yrs ago:. Don't open your mouth about what you're doing until youve done it. So afterwards, you can say: I didn't think I could do all that exercise, but I did it. Was afraid of that job interview but I prepared and did well! Don't give critical people a chance to say "Oh you're not gonna be able to do that!" Put power into your own hands!
Thank you for this vid. The min I started watching it, I opened my computer to do my reading for the course I'm doing. I've been telling myself all day that I will study and I keep procrastinating. Thank you, thank you, thank you ❤️
I need to hear this! I’ve been struggling a lot with productivity. I want to stop losing value in my words too. It’s depressing to let myself down over and over.
This advice is so true, ive talked about this same thing with my therapist. And yes omg the mindless scrolling is sooooo bad for time management. I am bad with this too. I love that you're trying to actively change your habits to better your life, because you showing people this video and showing people what you're doing is really helping people. Thanks for this vicky, I love seeing your journey and seeing you grow ❤
This is excellent life advice and a very useful life hack. It is potentially life-changing. It resonates with me because I cannot stand unreliable and flaky people. meanwhile, I have been unreliable and flaky to myself since college time to change that. my one action is meditating 10 minutes every day for a week. I will come back and report. Studies show it takes 21 days to create or quit a habit. The problem is that I’ve never gotten to 21 days. After meditating once a day, I would like to get to two meditations per day and painting watercolor every day.
I believe to have one kind of fear in your mind to do something will Make you stick to that thing. For example , I don’t let my any day go without praying because in my mind I believe that if I don’t do it, something bad can be happened to me. So my brain knows no excuse for not doing it. So I really believe you need to have that 1 fear in your mind for anything.
Thanks Vicky, knowing it's a struggle for everyone, I don't feel like such a disgrace..lol 2 things I remember when the time rolls around for my commitment and I'm about to not follow through with my words is: -Tell myself I'll feel worse if I don't. -If the first one fails, stop everything I'm doing and go into a meditation state of mind where I can become aware of my (about to be) poor decision making in not following through with my words. Just shut the world off for 30 seconds and remember why you said you were going to do it and get back into the mindset. People rarely are motivated to do their tasks, but they get into a mindset of they NEED to and they just do it. Push through it. Show up for yourself. You'll feel better afterwards! 💯 Hope this helps someone. 💜
First of all I want to say that I admire your courage for all the things that you've had to deal with. In my situation hopefully I'll wake up the next day God willing and when I do wake up I give God all the glory for allowing me to be here another day then whatever pops in my head to do then that's what I will do first. And it helps me cuz sometimes my mind thinks of a bunch of things to do and in the end I don't do anything so now I'm trying something different and so far it has worked this is my fourth week working out and I feel good
Thank you so much Vicky for making this video. The advice you gave was practical, short, sweet, and straight to the point. I am a horrible procrastinor so I needed to hear every thing you said. The one thing I want to focus on for 10 minutes a day for a week is reading my bible to help me get closer to God.
Thanks! I needed this! It’s good to hear honest opinions from fitness gurus like you how hard it is to stay motivated, consistent or just get even started!! 😵💫 I’m with you in this 10 mins challenge 🙌🙌🙌
thanks vicky that's why i love her so much she is the realist out there and really have love for her followers I've been following vicky since she still had long black hair lol much love for you girl... ❤ 😘
This has been really helpful 💗 something that has been super helpful to me is I bought a wall calendar and write down all the good habits I’ve done that day so I can see it and it’s like a fun accountability game!
Thank you for this, it's a great challenge to motivate me for the week. I'm starting your 7 day beginner workout rotation. I've been able to finish about 4 days in a row so far but I'm ready to jump back in! 🏃🏽♀️
I actually just came back from my 1mile run - i just started so in a way im joining you in this (running buddies but across the world lol) i started this before but got hurt and had to stop for a while. Right back at it tho!
Great advice👍👍👍 I got another tip, say you're working on quitting smoking don't say "I'll start tomorrow morning" start right then and there, throw away your cigarettes(or however you're planning on quitting)
I needed this😭😭😭🥹 I started biking every day and see a difference in my body, I’m actually loving myself for the first time in my life. Now I just need to stop procrastinating on singing on RU-vid and online. I take everything at once and give up. I want to stick to my word as you mentioned, thank you Vicky, you’re beautiful in and out🥰💪🏽🙏🏽 your workouts were the reason I started looking different, I’m about to check my workout playlist where I have your workouts on the top of my list😁💪🏽🙏🏽👏🏽also, you’ve got this!👏🏽👏🏽thank you 🥰I’m going to document myself lol because lord I give up too quickly😅
So on point. It gets easier.... Just like any other skill you practice. Another thing that I has been useful to me... Is to do the same thing just with something that's not hard; e.g. I'm going to drink a sip of water every morning when I get out of bed. Or I'm going to sit down in 5 minutes and then doing it. Those little tiny easy things build little bits of trust in yourself and helps you believe in yourself more when it comes to doing the bigger things.... Good book - Atomic Habits- explains some of the science and strategy behind it.
Really love this advice and I’ve put it to practice and it feels really good to do all the things I say I’m going to do on a particular day and it actually helps with procrastination I’m so glad I came across this Thanks Vicky ❤
I’ve been wanting to get better at crochet but I tent to not put the time into it. I’m going to crochet for 10+ everyday even if it’s something small 😁
Hello Vicky, thanks for this video. I believe it was meant for me. I will definitely do my accountability videos. Trying to walk on the treadmill everyday for 30mins
Riding my weighted cycle started with 10 mins increased 20, 30, 40 mins a day last 3 days. It's day 4 I did 40 minutes no rest and my legs feel on fire but my heart feels amazing 😍
Doing anytime of exercise movement in a day & have fun w/ it 💪🏻 I can say I’m off to a good start I juss did your “1mile walk at home” w/ my mom it was honestly fun ❤
