I'm sorry that a few brought in some negativity but I am more sorry for the fantastic people & experience they may be going to miss out on. Having spent time with Cooper, Darlen & others whilst I was over in Thailand, I can say that they are a fantastic group of people. The Thai themselves are also fantastic & so ready to welcome you with a reciprocal smile. I for 1 loved that the negativity of the outside world just didn't seem to exist there. Hear, hear, Cooper. Thank you for addressing this sensitive and important topic. I have also been called a gold digger, and it did hurt me a lot more than anyone could imagine. I wasn`t myself again for a long time. And it could`t be farther away from the truth. Darlen, I know exactly how you feel, I hope you are doing okey. I teared up hearing about this. But I have come to the conclusion that some people are just envious and jealous. The only thing we can do is to show that they are wrong, and to ignore the haters. Completely agree with you & unfortunately it needed to be said in order for those haters (usually jealous folk) to be told, but also for the Filipinas to be respected. Just one other thing I unfortunately feel needs to be said. Certain people & unfortunately it's some Americans, need to back off in thinking they're something special. They're not, no-one is, we're all equal. Let's please not have such people bragging in comments etc 'I'm an American, As an American bla bla bla' It doesn't impress people at all & it's something almost all other country folk don't do & don't feel the need to do. This was one of your best videos, and you have done Many Excellent ones! I agree with you totally about what is going on in the US, especially in regards to Male-Female relationships. But I wouldn't term it Woke-ism, because that implies something different in my eyes. I think it is better described as Me-Too-ism, or perhaps as Toxic-Femininity, as I personally think that these terms tend to encompass what it is that is destroying many of the Male- Female interactions as you described. And you were spot-on, as this phenomenon has gotten to the point where many men are reluctant to approach women or engage them for fear of it being labeled as harassment or worse!!😮😢

We came to jomtien a few months ago looking to getting information for us as an Australian couple looking to retire there, we met a few people that put us off . We have been to Thailand 16 times so know alot about it and love the people , phuket was our real destination but it's changed dramatically, for the worst so we looked at jomtien, but was put off by people being harsh other expats , were mean and confrontational, so we flew home disillusioned. But were going to try again so hope next time to catch up with you to get real advice from you, we respect you and your channel, so hope soon to catch up with you and Thailand a place we love . It's been 15 years of travelling there myself and my wife are trying again, thanks for keeping us still interested in a new life, waiting to see the taxes thing play out were confused by it now hope it comes out OK. My personal decision is to enjoy my life as a single guy from here on out. I am thrilled to see others having wonderful relationships. My choice to stay single is my choice. No one and I mean no one has the right to attack others relationship happiness. That’s pure jealousy. Social media is where you are most likely going to run into social garbage. I’ve cut way back on social media for this reason. Keep enjoying your life everyone. We only have one life so make the best of it.

You found your paradise...and you and your wife have spent your time and energy..FREE !! of change trying to spread your experience to other people. The garden or Eden had a serpent.....did you think that the paradise that you found wouldn't attract serpents ? BLOCK !! the serpents. ...and keep blocking them. I couldn't help but think that those comments are exactly why I haven't dated in over 10 yrs in the US. I will be in Thailand for 3 weeks in May. As a person who grew up in South East Asia and went to multiple international schools, that had 60 plus nationalities and every conceivable race and religion, we ALL got along and learned that, hate is learned and we are not born this way. Racism is the highest form of jealousy. I plan to retire to Thailand for 10 to 15 years and then return to Australia for my final years. Treat everyone with respect. If i found someone, i be happy.
Spot on Coop, completely agree with the point you were making. As someone who was in the chat in the livestream it certainly changed after one comment (thankfully that person deleted their comment AND apologised for it afterwards) but it did bring up a lot of debate. Personally I have a lot of respect for those that have already made the jump, and wish every success to those that are planning to make the jump to living in Asia - and if you get yourself a lovely person as a significant other then so much the better for you as you've got someone who will genuinely support you in your sad times and applaud you for your victories. It doesn't matter to me where anyone's significant other is from, all that matters is that they love and care for each other and will support each other during good times and bad. Like you say, there are gold diggers in all societies, whether Western, Asian or elsewhere. But you'll look in places where you're going to have the best chance of romantic success and if that means going to another country to find someone that is more likely to be a good fit then that's what you'll do. I don't meet the Western criteria for a "high value male" as I'm not over 6 foot and not earning a 6 figure salary. But I'm not a bad person and if I ever decide to settle down with someone again then I'll not be searching for that special someone here in the West because of all the drama and games that I've experienced from Western women during the dating process. If I do ever settle then I'm more likely to look for a lady in Asia instead and stuff all the nonsense spouted by those that bitch against the passport bro's. Quite frankly, if a person complains that a guy has become a "passport bro" and found their peace and happiness with a foreign partner then maybe they should be questioning WHY that guy felt it necessary to look overseas. If they can't see the problem then that means they're part of the problem. My personal experience was that I wasn't accepted for who I was and, in the home, everything I did was wrong. I'm very happy single. I'm financially independent and have my own home. I've got my kids and seeing them succeed in life (by whatever measure they want to use) will see me at my happiest. Mr. Cooper I really enjoy your videos. I was not at the LIVE stream but would have stood up for the community. You guys are trying to build a positive community for the retirees in Thailand. There will always be haters out there. As an American myself im currently witnessing the downfall of civil society. Streets are filled with many mentally ill homeless and drug addicts. Not sure if I still want to live in US for another 10 years! I really want to move to Thailand myself... Not to mention many of the women in U.S. are delusional to the sense where a man needs to make 7 figures in order to date them in 2023! The women here have gone crazy! They want a man who is minimum 6 foot, 6 pack, 7 figures!

Good video. On point! I lived in Pattaya for 2.5 years and I miss it everyday. I know some of the nicest Thai women who so kind and fun to be around. Also met many great folks from around the world there. If it wasn't for the BS I'm dealing with our government, I'd be going back to Pattaya to retire in January. But for the mean time stuck here in CA...

When people on the internet talk about passport bros it's almost a 100% about black men deciding to leave America in search of a traditional female partner he/they cannot find in the states and is usually negatively stated by their black female counterparts. So for me you'll need to cast this Passport Bros crap into the bin where it belongs because all of the rest of us white/asian whatever ain't called passport bros. As for gold diggers they come in all shapes, sizes, races and they ain't all female there are plenty of what I would call Gigilo's, their male counterparts. If there is one thing Thais hate, that a lot of westerners bring with them, it's this attitude that if they complain enough they will get better service. Thais act the exact opposite to westerners when it comes to drama. They will completely ignore you, which often upsets the complainer even more. I know guys who have lived in Thailand for several years and they still don't understand that simple fact and just blame Thais for being dumb and lazy when it happens. In reality, they are bringing it on themselves because they haven't learned how to do things the Thai way.
