I am 76 years old been overweight for about 30 years. Ive tried all kinds of diets and even Dr prescribed weigh loss pills. So far nothing has resulted in ANY weight loss. I stumbled across your youtube channel, started watching and fell in love with both your personalities and goofiness, not to mention your good looks. I started doing Keto a month ago and this morning was 199,6 lbs, down from 225 . Thanks for your wonderful ideas and recipes keep it up Love Pawpaw
I am 77 and in the same boat. I have given up the love of my life, SUGAR and have dropped twelve pounds in three weeks. I try to follow what these girls are doing as well, to eliminate the bad carbs. Chicken pizza crust is great because it taste like chicken parm!
Wonderful! Good for you! I agree with you these gals are amazing. They are the sole reason that I am on this diet too. It’s only been a few weeks and I’ve lost 11 pounds. Keep up the good work!
If you're OK with a square crust , put the ground meat in a gallon zip lock and roll it to the edges of the bag. Then cut the edges of the bag and gently remove the rolled ground meat.(makes it even). Good recipe, gals❣
I made this last night!! I just put the toppings on it in the pan and put a lid on to melt the cheese ( no broiler) It was so good! Thank you!! Now I’m thinking Alfredo sauce, spinach and artichoke and Parm!!!!!
Hi Twins. I know this is an older video I have stumbled across but I think it is timeless. Great idea. Might I suggest two dishes, flip it in the dishes, then slide it back into the pan after it's flipped. A little more clean-up but works every time. Born and raised in Chicago myself...moved before you two sweeties were born. Blessings for you both for helping so many. Thank you.
I don't just watch for the recipes which are SOOOOO helpful, but I watch for the twindom which makes me so jelly, but happy at the same time! I definitely find myself laughing while learning!
You two are THE BEST…your success is an inspiration! As a long-time cook, sometimes I find myself talking back to my iPad saying, ”Oh, sweetie, don’t do that!”- but your attitude and honest approach are so refreshing that it’s all OK. (And don’t get me started on the pups!❤❤)
I made this today out of curiosity, and it was very enjoyable. I chose not to go the fathead crust route so I haven't had anything that resembles pizza for four years.
I found a better way to cook flour tortillas to make pizza. Put tortillas on a cookie sheet, no oil just dry. Cook for 5 minutes, turn over, cook 5 more minutes. Add toppings & put under broiler until bubbly. The tortillas remains crispy all over, no mess. Love you ideas & taste tests.🌵🇺🇸❤️
😂 I loved the victory stance Emily took when you successfully flipped the sausage crust into the pan with the parchment paper! I was cheering with you🥳
I think the ziplock idea is good especially to make a big one. Split the bag and expose the top, put a sheet tray on top and flip it. Bake/broil the sausage, then add the toppings. Never put parchment under the broiler especially when you have your cute kitchen towels hanging right above! 🤪 🔥 🙏 Love you ladies! ❤
I use my air fryer (also has oven option). I spread the sausage very thinly on a pie plate (I use the foil pans when it needs to travel) and bake it until it looks cooked. I then top it and bake for a few minsthen air fry to crisp it up. I'm in AZ so we avoid using the oven ss much as possible. I hope this helps someone! And thank you ladies! Loving your content! -Evette
I made your low carb tortilla Pizza in my air fryer and it is AMAZING! 4 min. on 400 then top it with the sauce, cheese and toppings - back in for 5 minutes and let it cool. I use kitchen scissors to cut it into 4 and enjoy with a small side salad! My favorite lunch/dinner combo!
Girls, I made a pizza crust using chicken. I do lots of canning, so I use that chicken, but my daughter uses cans of chicken that she bought at Costco and she makes this pizza once a week. It's a super easy recipe, and oh so good!! If you want to see how to make it, you might want to check out "Ugly Pizza" posted by Leisa Sutton on RU-vid. This pizza will change your life! Best wishes!
This is genius. Thanks you so much for sharing cuz I always seem to be missing one of the ingredients to make a keto pizza crust. This just made my night! It's PIZZA time!
It works better if you bake the crust on a cookie sheet. I make one like this with chicken or sausage, parmesan cheese, and eggs. It is super easy on a cookie sheet and browns in the oven.
I’ve now made this twice! It’s so good! I actually just pressed the meat into a weird oblong cast iron pan I have. I just moved it around and kept lifting so it didn’t stick and I did flip it. Then topped with toppings and put under the broiler.
I made a Bacon Cheeseburger "Meatza" (too cute, I called mine crustless). 1# Hamburger browned w/1 Lg Onion and pizza spices (Italian, Salt, Pepper, Red Pepper flakes) in a cast iron skillet, layer of equal parts of SF Ketchup/Mustard (as my Daughter likes to calls it Metchup), cheese of choice (I used a Pizza blend) and Dill Pickle slices to taste. Delish! This is a great Casey's Pizza hack. For those of you in the ❤️ of our nation. Blessings from Iowa, L
I usually take a pair of scissors and cut off the parchment paper close to the edge of the food. If I'm going to start a fire, at least it will be a small fire! 😁 But yeah, I've never been comfortable having large, exposed pieces of parchment hanging off the sides of any food that goes into the oven. P.S. Definitely going to try this pizza!
Can't wait to try this one. Thinking that draining the grease out of the pan before flipping it back in there might be safer though. Then patting it down again before putting toppings on to minimize the wetness.
Oh my heavens!!! I just took rolling out your pizza crust to a new Lazy height. I dumped the sausage into the pan & covered it with parchment paper and rolled it out right in my pan using, this from Amazon "Mrs. Anderson’s Baking Double Dough Roller, Wood, 7-Inches x 4.5-Inches". Way too easy 🎉🎉🤩🤩😋😋
Yummy 🤤. I make crust with ground chicken and ground Italian sausage with Parmesan (shredded) and 1 egg Once cooked I put my toppings on then melt. Awesome. Love your recipes Cooked on 450 about 20 min for crust on parchment paper
I am going to try this with the ground chicken, roasted garlic, and Italian seasoning. I have actually never had Chicago style pizza that wasn't still doughy in the middle, I live in Texas, pizza isn't our specialty 😂😬 I'm excited to try this. Thanks for sharing!
You ladies are awesome!! I’ve been binge watching your videos nonstop for the past 5 - 7 days! And I feel like I’m in the kitchen like one of the girls! I’m definitely making this pizza! I’m a Brooklyn girl and I love my pizza!
If you have a cast iron skillet u could flip it once, then put under the broiler in the same skillet. I think i'll try that(cuz i'm a clutz and it would probably end up on the floor).
I made chicken crust pizza (using Costco canned chicken breast) last week and it was so tasty, even my hubby ate it, liked it ... caveat ... we owned a pizza shop for 20 yrs and he is especially picky about his pizza! Admittedly, these meat crust pizzas do not come out like a dough pizza, but going in and knowing that, there is no disappointment.
Looks AMAZING! I’ll be checking this one out for sure! I visited Chicago in 2016, had the best time👍 Of course we had incredible pizza while we were there, so I’m confident of your ability to judge a great pizza. Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
I've tried chicken, sausage, and beef "crusts". We loved them all. I even use the same spices in each. Mix together then press it onto a pizza pan. Then put the pizza pan onto a cookie sheet to catch the grease. Bake, broil, then add your ingredients. Broil again and voila.
Oh I love pizza. I have made a crust with chicken, but this one sounds just delicious. I will certainly have to give it a try one day. I would love to see y'all try both kinds of crust and see which one you prefer. Thanks for sharing and I hope you both have a great week. 😁
Hi Em,I've been making a pizza that doesn't have any crust,U just melt mozzarella in pan on top of some pepperoni slices then add sause and more pepperoni, I also added goof mushrooms, And you can pick it up like real pizza ,have you guys ever tried it?? Oh and right it the frying pan ,now oven, let me know!Th Em❤
I split the pound of sausage in half and made 2 personal sized meat pizzas. Very good ! very filling! Thanks for this. You guys are funny 😆 glad you don’t take yourselves too seriously. 🍕
Hello! I haven’t scoured the comments, so I’m not sure if anyone else has done this. I just used my tortilla press to squish out a wonderfully shaped and thin sausage crust! Just do it like you would a tortilla! The size ball of meat I used was a bit bigger than a golf ball for my 8” press. I had to put the flattened crust in the frying pan on low with the paper still on it until it released from the parchment paper. It did not take long, just until it’s warm. Then turn the heat up to about medium, cook the crust on one side, it does not take long. When you flip it to cook the other side, start putting the toppings on, then, remove it from the heat and slide it under a high broiler until the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown. Carefully remove from the frying pan into a plate, cut and enjoy your very own personal meatza!
Great job, Emily!! You too, Sarah!! This looks delicious and I can't wait to try it. Thank you so much to both of you for giving us these awesome videos and encouraging us. The "realness" is priceless!!
I have watched you lovely ladies make this before, after watching it again I am convinced that I must make this. Tomorrow I am getting my first trip to Aldi and I am extremely excited. With being disabled I don't get out alot, but I have a daughter that will pickup keto goodies from Aldi for me but nothing like going for yourself. If Aldi is reading this you really need to stop discriminating against your disabled customers and invest in some electric carts.
I am so excited to make this sausage crust! Thank you ladies so much for everything you share with us. It's nice to see real people on videos rather than fake people.
I’ve tried making pizza with a crust made of chicken that comes in a can like tuna. It was great once I got my brain to stop expecting it to be like a real pizza!
That meatzza looks sooo good! I've been wanting to try that crust for a while, your method looks awesome. I always saw recipes made entirely made in the oven, with a softer crust. I prefer crispy, so I'll definitely try your method. Thank you :)
I make meatza, but I’ve never tried the sausage crust.. (it sounds good). I’ve only made it with ground turkey and ground chicken. I’ll definitely have to try the sausage crust. 😋😊
You two have become my very favorites to watch. You're entertaining, you make good food, I like the gardening segments, and your music is cute and understated, not annoying and too loud! Thanks for this recipe - I just got Italian sausage and I can't wait to make it!
I did the same thing you did. I placed fish filets on parchment paper and placed them under the broiler. I too should have read the instructions on the back of the box. Live and learn!. I love your videos!
Looks delicious - can't wait to try it! But I'm so hooked on your Lazy Keto Pizza MADE ON THE GRILL! Easy, fast, and don't have to heat up the kitchen! I pre-brush tortillas with oil in the kitchen, take along sauce and cheese, then head out to the grill. Heat the grill to 325 degrees, brown tortilla for just a minute or so, flip, and add sauce and cheese. Keep heat at 325 and keep close eye on it til cheese melts - only couple of minutes! We love this with a salad for a quick, light summer meal!
I bet that's good. That sounds like something to try next winter! We're having a 100+ weather so no one wants to stand in front of a grill at my house.
I've never thought of making the meatza with sausage. I use chicken. I also flip it to get it crispy on both sides. It's very good.. yours looks so delicious!
To save a few calories, I’m going to make this soon with half ground chicken and half sausage. I have a few ideas to make it easier to brown/crisp both sides of the big meat patty. I’ll write back after I’ve experimented. Sending a big thanks to The Keto Twins for inspiration!
Been on Carnivore for about 2 weeks, and am starting to get bored eating ribeyes all the time. Totally trying this! I love pizza! One of the harder things to give up on any diet.
I was going to make this last week as another RU-vidr made it, but I never did. That looked so good, that I am definitely going to have to try it! Love all the fur babies!🥰🥰🥰
I have made the ground chicken version of this pizza... It's was awesome even to my friend that eats the standard American diet... I'm definitely gonna try ur version... I can imagine already how flavorful it is!!!!! Great job ladies!!!🤠💕
I got a cast iron round griddle (Lodge 10.5 in, $15 Walmart)....like a cast iron skillet with no pesky sides to get in the way. Use it to make my own flat breads (too much gluten in low carb supermarket tortillas for me......boohoo, cause I used to love them). This would work REALLY well for this pizza crust....and can go under the broiler. Since with use cast iron skillets/griddles become non-stick, no need for parchment paper. Problem solved. Love mine.
Lol parchment under the broiler. I always use parchment when I do my meatballs but I make sure not to have any edges sticking up. Most of the time it isn’t a problem.
I have tried both. The meat crust is good and super filling. The tortilla crust seems wicker and still very good taste. I thought the meat crust was a little bland so I’d spice it up next time.
I just ❤️❤️❤️❤️ y’all! I’m binge watching y’all( yes, I live in the South, 😊North Louisiana) before I get started. Y’all are so awesome and I think I can do this! Thanks Ketotwins!
Looks great. I like to mix a quality sausage with trim healthy mama flour (or almond) and seasoning. I do love how you did both sides!!! For sure agree!!!!
