i Know Same thing Happened to Me in The Year 2022 Then Somewhere in 2023 They Stuck Around And i Thought That They Were Ticks at First Because i Thought That Bed Bug Was Fleas But Turned Out To Be Looking Like Ticks But aren’t Ticks But Rather Bed Bugs
Pro tip: you should not put your luggage on your hotel bed or floor. Instead, put it on the luggage desk or the bathtub to be extra safe if there are bed bugs that might crawl into your luggage Also do not leave your clothes you're not wearing on the bed or the floor. Put it in the luggage or hang it in a closet to not get any bed bugs on your clothes
This is exactly why I never put any of my things inside the hotel until I thoroughly inspect the entire hotel rooms. It doesn't matter if it's a 5 star hotel or bed & breakfast. Always do your thorough inspections with a flash light of the entire room.
Unfortunately there is no sure-fire to diagnose these awful creatures based on bites. We always recommend for everyone to put everything through the dryer after returning home from ANY and ALL trips. 😅😬
If you are traveling and putting your bag on the floor in common areas, train, bus stations , airports never put your bag on the bed because most likely you brought them in. Travel bags are off the bed the wife said.
One time i was sleeping, i had a dream of myself crawling inside a vent with shitload of mosquitoes in it. Then they started biting me in the same spot again and lemme tell you, these mosquitoes were huge. Atleast that’s what i was dreaming about until i suddenly woke up (it was at 3:39AM), to turn on the lights to check why my body was itchy all over the place. I thought i was having eczema because there weren’t any mosquitoes (i also have a habit of using lots of shampoo), i tried using some cream and it felt better. But when i lay down for a few minutes, it started itching again in the same spots. Took me like 2 days to know that i was suffering from bed bugs bite, first time experiencing it is bloody horrid
You are a man who knows what he's talking about...I can't tell you how many times I have had this conversation with people, about multiple bites in one spot. They all deny it, and say that it's insect bites. It's usually the guys I work with on my painting crew. They take their shirts off and that's when I see the bites. So many people have bed bug problems, it's unbelievable.
I had them for about 6 months? They were probably the worst thing I had to deal with. My infestation was thankfully limited to my bed and I’ve been free of them for a little over a year now
My house had bedbugs once.. we had the entire house recieve heat treatment. A LOT of my brother's Legos melted. Another time when we were visiting the US for vacation, we stayed at a motel overnight because we entered from Canada and we're heading to Florida. My brother felt something crawling on him. So we left, and went to a clean motel. Everyone showered before bed lol.
I woke up at 3am at a VERY expensive and well known hotel and had bugs biting my body. I had a horrible allergic reaction. I flipped up the mattress and there were hundreds!! Theres NO way housekeeping didnt know. I made them refund me, payment hospital co pay, and send all my items out for cleaning. It was terrible!!
Be on the lookout while utilizing public transportation…. Cabs metro bus lines are all hotbeds for bedbugs.. There hitchhikers.. And that’s one way they infest.. Take heed of the conversation I’m having with you.. Please take my word for it..
You cant compare them. You only get ticks in the grass or forest and they bite you once and thats it. Bed bugs are a pest and they can stay in your house forever and its hard to get rid of them. You already got rid of the tick once you picked it up from your skin. But yeah ticks can be deadly and bed bugs dont, even though they are extremely gross.
He was blonde before the bedbugs, now he's ginger. This is due to blood in the follicles.... This is one of the biggest signs of a severe infestation. Stay vigilant people. It can happen to anyone. Sending my prayers to this unfortunate soul. I wouldn't wish it on anyone....... Bedbugs i mean.
From what I read, the young ones are easier to see on a dark surface, but the adults are easier to see on a light surface. Why? Bcuz once they start drinking your blood, it turns them dark.
Rather than seeing them, it's best to look for 2 things: the dark spots they leave in their hidding places (it's their feces) & the "shell" pieces they drop after growing so large they outgrow their "shell".
When I was 7, me,my grandma, my sister, and mother went on a trip to Tennessee. We stayed for 3 nights and the day we left I was really itchy. Every bite I counted, it seemed like more kept appearing. I was like “Mommy! I have 20 bites on my arm!” “Mommy! I have 32 bites on my leg!” (I don’t remember how many bites it was but there was around 20-45 on my arms, legs, and only 3 on my stomach. My mom took me to the doctor and they found out I got bed bug bites. They traveled in our bags so we had to get our house exterminated. We found 4 bed bugs in my room, and 2 in my living room. The hotel apologized and payed us 50$ to repay us for the extreme itching. Now, I developed some kind of fear of hotels and bed bugs.
